Legion: Chapter 8 (2017)
Not Exactly what i expected!
This series is great, and to say the least the finale didn't live up to its expectations. There were some great scenes in the episode like the one where David's consciousness helps him fight the Shadow king with all the chalkboard bit. Then there were scenes like I don't know Sydney foolishly (annoyingly) getting manipulated by Shadow King. Then there's Oliver! I can not begin to believe that even with the tech they have, Oliver has to manually increase power. What was he even doing!
Now, most people wanted Shadow King dead, but guys what would they do in the second season then! I mean come on. They made the most sensible decision not killing of Shadow King. Now we have something to expect from season 2:
How is shadow king going to come back?
Even in another host can shadow king use David's powers?
and what not!
Now this finale gave us what almost everyone wanted, a big showdown between David and shadow king. I don't know why is there so much hate out there people! The acting was good. Well meh! we didn't get the ending we all hoped for, but at least we have a hope for another good season.
So, 8/10 for this finale because they could've made it better, but they left it at a good place to pick it up in season 2.
Legion: Chapter 5 (2017)
OK now at episode 5. If this show gets any better i am gonna loose my mind.
Just brilliant. This show is just brilliant. This episode shows what truly David is capable of, or better yet it shows what an innate monster's capable of when he gets his hands on the power to do anything. This episode captures the essence of horror so brilliantly all I could do was hold onto my bed sheet and hope that my eyes don't shut.
For those who haven't seen it, I would just say just get ready, you are up for a ride. In this ride, Fx is going to amaze the s%*t out of you!
Hats of to the director for directing this episode. Well thought, well enacted, and a very well deserved 10/10.
Legion: Chapter 1 (2017)
The first series in a long time where the unexpected is expected!!!
The last series that I watched so fresh was Broadchurch's first season. I mean wow what a pilot! Transitions were perfect acting was perfect and I can't comment on the story yet, just seen the first episode. But, with this solid beginning, I am sure this series is going to be great. For those who haven't watched it yet.
I would like to say if you are tired of predictable, daily series and want to see something that 'literally' makes you doubt every assumption you make of the story, this is it. Along with that story, the brilliance is in its cinematography.
