Cleaning Up (2019)
Cha-ching
It was a rollercoaster ride of entertainment! The character portrayal was on point, weaving a captivating story of gamblers. While there were a few plot holes, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. I was hooked from start to finish!
Cleaning Up presents a gripping depiction of the tumultuous world of gambling, offering a compelling narrative that explores the emotional and psychological struggles of its characters. While the film may not be based on a true story, its portrayal of the challenges faced by gamblers feels authentic and emotionally resonant. At the heart of the story is the protagonist, whose journey is marked by a constant battle between addiction and redemption. As we follow the protagonist's descent into the dark depths of gambling, we are drawn into a world filled with high stakes and crushing defeats. Each twist and turn in the narrative is infused with emotion, as the protagonist grapples with their inner demons and struggles to break free from the cycle of addiction. Along the way, we are introduced to a cast of characters who each play a pivotal role in the protagonist's journey, from the loyal friend who stands by their side to the ruthless adversary who threatens to undo everything they've worked for.
Despite the grim subject matter, Cleaning Up is not without its moments of hope and redemption. Throughout the film, we witness the protagonist's unwavering determination to overcome their addiction and rebuild life. Their journey is fraught with setbacks and obstacles, but through sheer resilience and inner strength, they begin to claw their way back from the brink. Along the way, they confront their past mistakes and come to terms with the consequences of their actions, ultimately finding a sense of closure and redemption in the process.
One of the film's greatest strengths lies in its ability to evoke empathy and understanding for its characters. Despite the moral ambiguity of their actions, we can't help but root for the protagonist as they struggle to find their way out of the darkness. Their journey is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and serves as a powerful reminder that redemption is always possible, no matter how far gone we may seem.
Trial by Fire (2023)
Wow. Waste.
What. A. Waste. Of. A good non fiction and acting. Half the stories were super irrelevant. I thought there would be a twist but a waste of hours ... I'm bery disappointed in the reviews people gave. Just becaise it was a true story??? This was ...I'm .speechless.. the acting was pretty good but the story of random people and families was very Irrelevant. If you have time to spare after watching all the movies you can watch, then watch it. Lol. Otherwise save you time and energy for something else....oh love how some people don't age at all. Lol. Nothing else to say. Hope this gets posted. =)..
Dark Places, Deadly Illusions (2021)
Lifetime wannabe
A typical lifetime film. Boring, slow, predictable, and plain dumb
