I have an answer to your question
Kevin Bigley says he was injured in Iran. As far as I remember there is no war in Iran. Are these people dream about invading this country and reflecting it in their movies? Or they do not know the difference between Iran and Iraq?! ... qtcdcmvf
It's set in the future ... after Obiden arms Iran with nukes ... it won't be too long after that we are at war.
Rickover: The Birth of Nuclear Power (2014)
The Naderites flooded this page with their hate
5.8 hmmmmmmmmm ... why?
Because the anti-progress folks organize to destroy truth. The documentary points out that nuclear power is not evil, as the left would have you believe. And make no mistake, the only reason they want you to believe that is so you will beg them to enslave you with anti-science solutions to all of humanities problems.
Nuclear energy is like a gun ... in the hands of a woman about to be raped, it is a savior ... in the hands of leftists (like Nader, Carter, etc.) it is the extinction of life. You want good things like nuclear energy? Then you have to deplatform or lock-up the evileft. The definition of leftism is the violently insane lust for power. Nuclear energy can be a godsend, the reason people think it isn't, is because our 90% of the world's leaders (aka enslavers) are leftists.
No Safe Spaces (2019)
At 10:11 in the video someone shouts out, "It's not a debate"
You know why it's never a debate for leftists? Because that is something they can never win.
A quote from conorstevens
"This probably isn't going to convince anyone of anything and I learned nothing new."
Let's unpack the conman's contribution.
He asserts that this documentary is designed to convince people of something ... could it be that the video would rather get people to think for themselves?
He asserts that he learned nothing new ... the inference being that if he learned nothing then no one else will learn anything. Does that pass the logic test in your book? Do you think everyone on earth has the same knowledge base as the conman?
I think what is likely is that the conman is a polibot. Regardless of my thoughts or the conman's thoughts, this documentary has a higher rating than every other documentary on IMDB produced by patriotic Americans.
What do you imagine the reason for that is? Bezobots haven't gotten around to falsifying the rating? Possibly. It's also possible that this documentary DID TEACH SOMETHING NEW TO MANY VIEWERS.
Citizen Soldier (1956)
Good news for Duncanstearn
You can find these episodes strewn across the internet. You'll have to make an effort, but you'll find them. BTW, there was a 2016 movie called Citizen Soldier, but that was a one-off.
The series is WW2 as told by those who fought it. You would think with all the trillions at the disposal of Netflix, Amazon and HBO Max they could remake a series like this with stories of heroism from the last 20+ years of fighting. But no, these outlets need to groom children and shame parents who reject political indoctrination of children.
This is what the world looks like when evil is triumphant.
The Plot Against the President (2020)
Jeff Bezos owns IMDB, I bet you didn't know that
ALL documentaries which shine a light on the globalist protocol to enslave the planet is going to receive a poor rating on IMDemocratB. BTW, it's not a conspiracy. People who have an irrational lust for power have always gravitated toward each other. This is nothing new. What is new, is the ability for mass communication (and the control over it) to enable and empower evil people like never before.
If I tell you that 2+2=4 ... I am gonna be fact-checked and you are going to be brain-washed into believing objective reality is not truth. You will be convinced that 2+2=5.
You have no choice but to be your own fact-checker. If you farm this responsibility out to others ... well, the logical outcome is societal slavery. Orwell knew it. Huxley knew it. Rand knew it. Burgess knew it. Bradbury knew it. Serling knew it. And now you know it.
If.... (1968)
An important film that makes you remember to question authority instead complying to it rules.
The header is a quote from a review titled:
"As if the speed of the nail would matter ..."
IMDB Author: youngmurray
Written in 2004.
I wonder if youngmurray has the integrity to apply that theorem to Obiden, Xinping, Clinton and Obama. I bet youngmurray has never really questioned totalitarianism in his life. I bet his actual belief system is to bow down to authority when it comes from the side of the aisle that he wants to empower.
Just a reminder that people who call for the over-throw of any system ... do so not in an effort to erase dictatorship, but in effort to install a dictatorship that they think will benefit them.
Plandemic (2020)
Why hasn't this been viewed by over a billion people?
Let's define what critical thinking skills are.
A basic understanding of history (both human and non-human) + logic derived from objective reality.
When you prioritize those two things, you don't need a conspiracy to explain anything. You come to accept that humanity has always been governed by the marriage of irrational fear to irrational ambition. The product of that marriage is irrational aggression. The reason very few people have seen this important documentary is because the world is run by people who embody the worst humanity has to offer. We are 50 years into the new dark ages ... and that journey is now morphing into de-evolution.
We are living all the nightmare's Serling, Huxley, Burgess, Bradbury and Orwell ever had. By not informing ourselves and growing a backbone, we have chosen this extinction path.
How the Universe Works: Aliens Of The Microcosmos (2021)
LOL at the "science"
Global warming is causing our current virus scare. Uhhhhhh, nope. Dr. Mengele-Fauci and those people the scientists voted for have unleashed a weaponized virus for political purposes.
The makers of this particular episode really made a Faucian bargain before production began. Oh, did I say Faucian? I apologize, I meant Faustian.
Ghostbusters (2016)
Project - population dumb down - is now complete
How does this thing have a 6.9??? That's higher than most Bond films.
Well, IMDB has always had integrity issues with voting ... hmmmm, what does that remind me of?
The actors are not without talent (limits still prevail though), but the premise was flawed from the get go.
Hollywood is convinced you can take every male character in cinema history and just turn him into a female and remake the film and everything will work as in the original.
Proving once again Hollywood is populated by Madison Avenue hacks and those who choose politics over entertainment.
VIVA LA NEW MCCARTHYISM!!!
The Obama Deception (2009)
Remember when Alex was "out there" ??
I don't agree with Alex on everything ... but he does have a gut instinct for evil.
Go to a search engine you trust (yeah I know, impossible, since silicon valley is a hive-mind organism) and type in - 2010 Rockefeller lockstep blueprint. Then type in - Fauci 2017 pandemic prediction.
Use the links to investigate. Then look at the world over the last 10 years. If you have decent critical thinking skills, you won't be sleeping well for a long long time.
2001 Destellos en la oscuridad (2018)
Notes on a wonderful 20 minutes
KUBRICK - he comes off as brilliant as far as I'm concerned, but makes human mistakes ... which may explain why he was reluctant to do interviews ... for some reason I find it interesting that while Clark was born approximately 10 years before Kubrick, he died almost 10 years after him. I guess I luv how it reminds us of the random nature of the Universe.
His greatest insights:
-machines are more predictable than people --- ironically he failed at predicting technical progress, but he succeeded at predicting societies future when he made "a clockwork orange". It turns out he was better at predicting people than technologies ... while 2001 was the better future, we opted for a future that makes Alex DeLarge happy.
-we might become a race of sensually stultified zombies plugged into pleasure machines ... our bodies and minds will experience atrophy when we give up being explorers in favor of pleasure seekers
-up till now perception on the deepest level has been detrimental to our evolution ... but at this stage of evolution we have an obligation to spend more time engaged in introspection
-"are you guilty of misanthropy?" --- "good god no, you don't stop being concerned with man because you recognize his essential absurdities and frailties and pretensions. I believe in mans potential for progress."
- no one will mourn our passing ... but that doesn't imply we shouldn't try to create meaning in our lives by answering the profound questions our minds can conjure.
- the universe is not hostile ... it is indifferent
Where he got it wrong ... imho.
1) aliens would be benevolent - he bases this on his own predilections toward a sentient ant that wanted to talk to him
2) "no one knows what is waiting for us in the universe" ... this seemingly contradicts his prediction about benevolent aliens
3) "death cured by 2001 ... maybe" ... well we didn't cure it enough to keep him from dying before 2001
4) "there is little doubt the whole concept of leisure will be improved ... leisure time will be increased and improved" true and not true ... we have more things to do in our leisure time but less leisure time in which to do them ... we spend much of our time managing subscriptions and trying to reduce government, religious and HOA imposed burdens ... my maternal & paternal grandparents each raised 3 children, had much fewer labor-saving conveniences, attended to their religious and social/neighborly obligations ... and still had free time to play bridge with their friends once a week ... many of those friends being from their high school years. In short, my grandparents were much more connected to their community ... my parents less so ... and myself even less than my parents ... this has not been good for our evolution.
5) "I don't do so called consciousness-expanding drugs ... I believe drugs are of more use to the audience than the artist" ... he forgets those two groups switch places on a regular basis
6) - our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment ... yes and no, on a personal level this is true, if you decide to work to defeat humankind's irrational fear and irrational aggression for the rest of your life you will be adding meaning and fulfillment to your life ... but as a useful tool for the universe, this is not true, while we may add to the success of other creatures, we will take away from the success of an equal number of creatures, diminishing the meaning and fulfillment of their lives. The idea that meaning and fulfillment only applies to homo sapiens is hubris at its ugliest.
The Grand Tour (2016)
I adjusted my rating for TG after seeing this show
Many years ago I gave Top Gear a rating of 10. I had to go back and adjust that downward after Jeremy, Richard and James bolted for their own show. Their replacements just aren't as talented.
The Grand Tour gets a 10 from me because it has 4 ingredients:
Jeremy
Richard
James
and that special spice named ANDY WILMAN.
He's the producer that left Top Gear to help the 3 caballeros make this thing a raging success.
Yes, it's still about cars, but they recognized on Top Gear the viewers favorite shows were the international adventures ... which were filled with pranks, exotic scenery, exotic cars, poignant moments, physical comedy and camaraderie.
Well done boyz ... ALL 4 OF YOU.
The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978)
It burns my eyes ...
Thank god for rifftrax ... they have turned the worst thing that ever went thru Lucas' brain into something that can be enjoyed ... uhh ... okay not really enjoyed, but if you drink enough alcohol and watch it with someone who loves you, this craptacular abortion does have some entertaining qualities ... like HARVEY KORMAN and Bea Arthur and Art Carney all competing to see who can do the most damage to their legacy.
Marvel at the great music from Jefferson Airplane ... ummm, I mean Starship. And by "great" I mean something the Bay City Rollers would make fun of.
Before watching this ludovico experiment it is best to remember that while Lucas made star wars and indiana jones, he also made THX, howard the duck and this crime against the viewing public, that should only exist in a galaxy far far away.
The Twilight Zone (1959)
You can actually track humanities de-evolution ...
... with this series and its reboots.
The original series (1959-64) created and produced by genius author Rod Serling scores a 9.0 (imo too low, but that debate is for another day)
The first reboot in the 1980s scores a 7.8 on imdb.
The second reboot in 2002 scores a 7.2 on imdb
The 2019 third reboot (courtesy of Jordan Peele) scores a 5.8 (which is way too high for that PRAVDA propaganda).
So there you go. You can actually track our path into the new dark ages. Soros-Anarchomarxists won't have to bomb the USA back into the stone age. We are happily traveling to that destination riding on the back of the DNCCP's broken tricycle.
Chernobyl (2019)
The braintrust that brought you Chernobyl ...
Is now sitting in the oval office and occupies every seat of power thru-out the globe.
You can blame yourself for happily surrendering your liberty every single day starting in March 2020 ... and continuing to this day.
A Midnight Clear (1992)
Wut?! Please tell us you're joking.
" ... And because cinema has changed so much, it allows us to see more of how war actual was, instead of the watered down versions we had been getting for years ... "
EVOLVIST
So "evolvist" thinks this is the "real" WW2, like a documentary. Sorry devolvist, this movie is leftist propaganda. And your ability to confuse it with objective reality tells everyone that the public school system has succeeded in their goal of dumbing down a once great nation.
The Conners (2018)
How many people did Disney pay to give this a false review?
Disney and CBS are in competition to ruin as many of their franchises as possible. For CBS it is Star Trek and The Twilight Zone. For Disney it is their entire programming schedule and every movie franchise that Walt had anything to do with.
McCarthyism 2.0, it isn't just for ABC, but heaven knows they are the best at it. Can't think of one show on ABC that isn't boring or insulting or unoriginal.
Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983)
6.5 is too low
4 excellent directors with some top flight actors and Rod Serlings words. I understand why so many want to say the original series was better, but that's because people are having nostalgic flashbacks. Yes the original series was one of TVs best ever attempts at entertainment mixed with thought provocation, but this movie homage should be rated at least 7.5. Spielbergs "kick the can" hit all the right notes and the final chapter "nightmare at 20,000 feet" was superior to the excellent original starring William Shatner.
Overall this is a good way to spend 1 hour and 42 minutes. Can a single movie compare to a series with 156 episodes and Rod Serlings fabulous voice-overs? No, but that doesn't diminish the fun of remembering when Hollywood had a few brilliant story-tellers. The day Kubrick died was the day Hollywood lost it's last true talent. Chris Nolan and Spielberg come close, but one of them has proven himself to be a political hack who has ruined his legacy.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
CBS has destroyed Twilight Zone and now . . .
Star Trek. The original series had an optimistic view of the future. CBS executives are doing everything in their power to tell the audience . . . LISTEN TO AOC, she knows more about the future than you hateful people who love Roddenberry and the future.
Seriously, can someone prove to me that CBS doesn't have the same self-destructive goals as Disney?
The Twilight Zone (2019)
3rd time is the charm?
"Third time is the charm". Thanks to this latest edition (earlier editions: classic 50/60s - 80s sincere try and fail - 2000s attempt which was a complete failure when you could measure it against THE OUTER LIMITS remake) we can change the well worn axiom above to: "Third time is the harm", if you don't like that, how about "Third time buys the farm", or maybe, "CBS sucks more than Stormy Daniels".
As others have mentioned Black Mirror is a thousand times better. In fact there are some Black Mirror copycats which are better than this Jordan Peele crapfest. I liked what he and Key did on comedy central, but here he makes it clear what the difference is between him and Rod Serling in the talent department. The distance between the two is the difference between a legend and a pretender.
Mary Poppins Returns (2018)
Disney has lost its way thanks to anti-Walt leadership
Emily Blunt is the opposite of Julie Andrews. I didn't think it was possible to make Mary unlikable but that's exactly what Emily did.
Plus the screenplay was bad. The other actors also were lacking in appeal. Bob Iger the dumbest, most powerful man on the planet has nothing in common with Walt Disney and it shows in the direction he has taken Disney.
It's a purely political operation now, exactly what Walt avoided, Walt said he wanted to entertain and hoped people would learn something.
Iger's (and Kalogridis and Eisner) motto is to ram political correctness down the throat of the audience and hope they are entertained.
2 decades from now Disney will be on the verge of bankruptcy. It won't bother Iger. He and Michael Eisner will be sitting on their own private islands trading stories with Jeffrey Epstein.
Leaving Neverland (2019)
Everyone comes off bad in this dark modern tragedy
Bad parents? Absolutely.
Corrupt entourage? You bet.
Complicit media which made no effort to reveal what happened when he wasn't on stage? Hell yes. I'm sure many in the media knew or suspected and yet did nothing to reveal his twisted side.
The public? Well it was obvious he liked to hang out with kids and apparently nobody found it odd an adult man who could have any woman in the world would rather hang out with young boys.
Jackson family? Like everyone else they didn't want to upset the money train so they never did what good families do . . . give each other healthy guidance.
Michael Jackson? Brilliant, talented artist, with demons that he welcomed in and cultivated. Was MJ abused as a child? Definitely. But if your moral compass is working you don't want to victimize someone else when you become an adult, precisely because you understand first hand the pain it causes. And he abused children knowing this. There's a difference between being gay/bisexual and being a pedophile. And MJ was a pedophile.
Salyut-7 (2017)
Thank you reviewers for making rational people want to punch you
If you haven't read any other reviews but this one, I'll give you a short cut. The reviewers from outside the USA complain the movie borrows too much from Hollywood. The reviewers who live inside the USA complain the is Russian propaganda.
Neither of which does the film justice. It's a well made film that delivers some info the public didn't have and also incorporates some liberties to make the story more relatable.
Some reviewers were looking for a documentary and base their disappointment off the fact it wasn't that. These people fall into a category known as "mumble-brain". Others wanted a film that didn't remind them of Apollo 13, the name for these folks is "dumble-brain". Neither group possesses' the intelligence to understand the point of movie-making . . . to ENTERTAIN the audience. This film does that and it sporadically educates as it is doing it. Well worth the time to watch it.
