great unique movie, highly recommended
2 April 2023
I love this movie and its soundtrack too. What a novel idea. It was super interesting to watch with a lot of turns and twists. Completely believable yet completely unpredictable. Depicts various kind of social dilemmas of today's world very successfully. Cast is great, very watchable, very likeable. I liked every aspect of the movie and its realism. One of the best movies I have seen in the past ten years. It is such a breath of fresh air. If like me , you are sick of watching predictable commercial movies, full of superheroes, endless fight scenes and fantastical dimensions to them, this is such a great alternative. Made me feel happy and appreciative. Hoping more this kind will come to my way. Thank you everybody who has a part in making this movie.

Fun to watch
17 February 2023
We are big fans of this show. Jeremy and his colleagues created a fantastic sequel. My husband and I enjoy watching real people, living a real relevant life. So enjoyable.

Living in London but frequently visiting rural UK, this show illustrates the different lives of farmers we see during our travels. It is amazing to learn about their challenges and experiences. Jeremy and co have created a humorous and entertaining show while demonstrating some of the incredible problems they experience.

Great filmography as well this year. Beautiful shots, vibrant colours and great angles. Well done film crew!

Great production. We're so glad this show is back. It's a great topic of conservation among friends from all walks of lives.

We look forward to visiting Dudley Squat again.

amazing movie

I have just watched this movie today as part of London Film Festival. I loved it. It has such an incredible depth. Acting was amazing. It brought tears to my eyes, still I tremendously enjoyed it. Storytelling, depth of characters, score, locations everything beautifully fit with each other. I can't believe this is the first movie of the director. I am already a big fan and will look for more of his films in the future.

global generation
15 October 2013
I haven't seen the two previous movies by the same director and actors preceding this one, but all by itself I loved this one. It is funny, witty, interesting and unusual. I understand the previous two movies portrayed the lives of characters at an earlier age. Now they are around 40 years of age, they are in NYC and they have different set of problems. I participated in a Q&A with the director at the end of the movie and I understand what he is trying to portray is a generation of people who are more mobile, who aren't afraid of mixing with different cultures, live in different countries, deal with the challenges presented by this new country. Movie has a very very positive, upbeat look at things. And it is very refreshing to have this positive outlook considering how many movies feeds of drama and difficulties almost to a degree, which makes them unrealistic. Life is not so bad and things don't go that bad in real life. You might get lucky at things. This movie has a positive, realistic look at life. I could easily relate to it. Loved it, highly recommend it. Especially if you want to laugh a bit and feel good about life. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Once Upon a Time (2011–2018)

fairy tales to real life
15 October 2013
I like realistic movies and TV shows, anything criss cross between real world and fantasy world usually bugs me. Of course there are exceptions to this rule and Once Upon a Time is the most important exception. I love this show a lot. I grew up with reading various fairy tales, in many occasions several times. I was fascinated by them. It is amazing how the creators of this show take these tales and weave them into an amazing story about humans. Of course I would have preferred if they were even more realistic about portrayals of human characters but at this age of shallowness I know I have to be realistic in my expectations, they do the realistic portrayal to a certain degree and I am happy with that. There are almost no absolute evil or absolute good in the movie, which is important for me. I wish they were even more brave in their approach to this realistic portrayal of characters. Less heroes, more real people with their good and bad behaviours. Anyway it could be improved a lot but I am still loving to watch this show. I hope my excitement about it will continue in the future seasons too. Although I am a bit worried that they have already started to include unnecessary fight scenes, a very worrying sign. As a woman audience I find these scenes usually unnecessary and they bore me. How often do real people fight and how often they continue afterwards without scratch? I hope the beauty of this show will not be sacrificed for the sake of popularity.

Enough Said (2013)

Wonderful, feel good movie.
15 October 2013
Both my husband and I enjoyed this movie a lot. It was neither a chick flick or a macho flick. It was just a good, smart movie about life made by smart, caring people. We saw it at London Film Festival premier and also had a chance to participate in the chat with the director and Julia Louis Dreyfus. They are both funny and witty women and it seems like together they created a fun, meaningful movie, which was very pleasant to watch. Late James Gandolfini was also amazing in his role, a much different guy than his famous Tony Soprano portrayal. Very sad we lost this wonderful actor. Movie is about middle age people, their relationships with each other with their kids, exes etc. The story is beautifully told and void from clichés. It was a pleasure to watch.
