I think this movie is easily one of all-time Top 10 War films, and I'm not French or Algerian.

Nothing is predictable or black and white here, so realistic and gritty, the locations and actors are very authentic.

The characters pull you into their lives and the dialogue shines through even as subtitles. There are no winners in a war and the films shows it very well, makes you want to find out more about what happened in Algeria in 1960.

Amazing documentary.

So many problems and the reasons shown very clearly.

Visually well done, great pacing and the whole package just hits you hard.

Definitely a very illuminating documentary, should be translated and shown across the world.

Wow, what a load of rubbish. Good actors but such a lame story. Pankaj Tripathi is wasted here. The conversations, especially in the 'Committee' meetings are disconnected, everyone is on their own trip. The characters are caricatures, I think the director took ideas from 9 PM Indian news shows, the people shout and argue but theres no logic or substance, just disconnected, wild allegations.

12 Angry Men is an 'inspiration' but in such a basic and uninteresting way that I'd rather not speak

So many reviews give this movie 9 or 10, guys you need to watch real good movies to learn to give honest points. Fact : Mitrokhin Archives have Zero mention of Shastri and his death. Serious liberty taken with history.
