I'm Not Apologising for Anything You Dirty, Dirty Smear Merchants (2019)
Get Bent.
Changed my life.
Don't want to spoil too much but keep your eyes open for the subtle homo eritocism between Sargon and Dankula.
**chefs kiss**
You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll realise that the mainstream media are a bunch of unclean unclean, spread peddlers.
The movie would have gotten a perfect 10 from me but it was lacking in a kid friendly mascot, a small dog or Pug perhaps.
9/10. Would smash.
Stargate SG-1: Urgo (2000)
I can't believe anyone dislikes this episode.
It's an easy going one sure, funny and wacky but you cannot deny it's charm.
Dom DeLuise really makes it, from the writing to the ad-libbing it oozes amusement.
Fun for all the family.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
"Things I know": The movie.
Well we knew this wasn't going to be good. The trailer showed us that clearly little thought was put in to the casting and the movie showed us that aside from their names, you'd never know who these characters were.
Wesker is nothing like wesker.
Leon is an inexperienced moron, bested at every corner by Claire for some reason (you go gurl).
Chris is a whiney douche.
In addition to this, the films are loaded with references but they're so surface level that they just feel disjointed. They tried to cram so much in to this movie and yet it feels so empty.
(By cram stuff in, i mean it really is just "things I know")
I love the game series and I just want to see it down justice on the big screen.
I wasn't a huge fan of the WS Anderson movie because it had so little in common with the games, but at the movies progressed, they became trashy fun.
How hard is it to do Resi Righty?
The Simpsons: Last Tap Dance in Springfield (2000)
This is a good episode
This is a good episode.
It's funny and not meant to be taken seriously.
Plot holes? Have you even seen the simpsons?
Take that 1/10 review!
Star Trek: Discovery: Terra Firma, Part 2 (2020)
How do you make the mirror universe boring AF??
A pointless two parter focused on the worst character. The Emperor is one note, irritating and out of place in the prime universe... and having spent so much time with her here, why would anyone care what she was like in the mirror universe?
This two parter is ultimately a bottle episode and the self contained story of "evil empire being evil" is pointless.
At least the burn story arc this season had me somewhat engaged.
Charmed (2018)
The problem isn't that it's not the original...
... it's that it's crammed with identity politics rather than just being a fun campy show about demon slaying.
I just can't tolerate the insane levels of wokeness
I stuck with it for half a season and I'm disappointed I'll be ditching it
Don't believe the 10star reviews
Skyscraper (2018)
Cliche riddled and insultingly obvious and contrived.
Die hard isn't technically driven cinematic work of art, it wasn't trying to be. It was however well written, well acted and engaging.
Skyscraper is none of these.
The Die Hard comparisons are insulting, not for the positives I've written above but on a basic level. The hero is not hunting, sabotaging or picking of the bad guys which is the core of a "Die Hard like".
What Skyscraper does have is cliched dialogue, cliched characters and cliched "set pieces" (if you can call them that). This makes the movie predictable and a drag - to the point where the film dragged into a time sink.
I was so disappointed in this movie.
