The parts that were live production were the best I've seen in a long while. The performances were amazing. This is why it was annoying when they would cut to the animated feature. I have mad love for the original but the back and forth just doesn't work for me. Either do a full live production or do the behind the scenes stuff and show the original movie. I feel the talent they had was wasted in the few brief performances they were given no matter how phenomenal those performances were (and they were fantastic!) Ps Rita Moreno was great with the behind the scenes into. I learned things I never knew and enjoyed that immensely!

This adaption, unlike others, starts near the end of the book and tells the familiar tale through flashbacks. It adds a richness to spend more time with the Little Women versus the girls growing up. Every character seemed well cast. Of all the versions, this sets up best if the studio decided to do one of the other books.

Overall, this movie is just weird but worth it. Great concept but so strange. You keep watching just to see how it all ends. The ending is a delightful surprise. The supporting roles are more fun to watch than the leads. It has potential to be a cult classic just because people may rewatch it unsure of what they are watching.

The only thing funny in this comedy was watching The Queen in such a classic role. I felt all the singing parts unnecessary. The performances are more traditional than enjoyable. The "classic" performances make the dialogue unintelligible for the most part. It is hard to follow, and you don't really care for any of the main couples because you don't spend a significant time with any of them. The Bryce Dallas Howard version is much better.

Predictable Christmas love story. I found it overall enjoyable. At least this movie had a semi original storyline. Otherwise, usual Christmas fluff where the couple falls quickly for one another.

I found it as enjoyable as the original. Great songs. The parts were it diverged from the original added to the story in an endearing way.

Luckily they didn't dub over the animated film with the live actors, so that was good. The stage production parts were amazing, and I would have loved to see more. As others have said, the audio could have been better. Often, you don't hear the first minute of all the songs. As usual for me with these live productions, I felt the live performers could have used more rehearsal time.

Overall as enjoyable as the Nikki Blonsky movie. Some roles were cast better (aka Harvey Feinstein), but others were either equal to or a little worse than that movie (Link was a huge disappointment). Loved the cameos from MJW and Ricki Lake!

I felt this was a great version of this musical! It's not an exact copy of the original movie nor would I want it to be. I felt all the musical numbers and characters were 100% on point. It just felt rushed and the song over the end titles was pitchy.
