The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: The Princess and the Plea (2023)
FINALLY back to what I love about this show!
This episode takes me back to what I loved about this show. Ok, I'll admit, I haven't been loving the flash forward glimpses of how things turn out for Midge and Susie because it's just a reminder that this wonderful show is coming to a close. Also, the jumping all over the place from future and past, future and past has been a bit much. However, this episode gave me exactly what I've been wanting... to continue telling Midge's story where it left off last season. I mean, I know it's already been revealed that she becomes a huge success, and I wish the previous episodes didn't already reveal that, but I still want to see her journey, and how things played out for her. I am going to miss this show so much, and I'll probably rewatch every season over and over as I already have, but I will miss looking forward to the next season. It has been such a joy to watch this story in all its craziness and all its absurdity and all its beauty. I just really want to see more... more of Abe's story, more of Rose's story, more of Susie's story... just more of everyone. I will miss you, Mrs. Maisel, you truly are marvelous!
The White Lotus: Recentering (2021)
Such a BS episode
With all the BS going on in this show, the biggest BS is ONCE AGAIN Hollywood's crap way of "including" Hawai'i culture into a show or movie. You know what, DON'T, because all that's shown most the time AIN'T EVEN HAWAIIAN! The performance was all Tahitian and Samoan, NOT HAWAIIAN!! (And having been a luau performer, the talking to a dancer in the middle of a show, NEVER HAPPEN!) The "Kai" story... don't even get me started! And the paddlers, again DON'T get me started! Sick of Hollywood exploiting indigenous Hawaiian culture AND all the "locals" who help do that! Most people won't care about what I'm saying, but other Native Hawaiians that actually practice our culture will care!!
The Blacklist: 16 Ounces (2021)
I swear the writers do this on purpose!
I think a few seasons ago, the writers realized that the fans REALLY hate this Keen character and they decided "hey, let's keep viewership by making her so ridiculous and stupid so fans get annoyed and angry and write reviews about how awful she is, but keep watching because then they'll be invested in waiting for her to fall." Well, it worked guys. I can't STAND Keen and think everyone on the FBI task force is laughably "understanding" and straight up gullible and dumb, but I LOVE James Spader because he IS the GOAT and IS the show, and I will keep watching because of him and because I want to watch Keen's demise. Yes, it means I painfully need to endure the stupidness that is "Elizabeth Keen", but I will for Red.
The Blacklist: Katarina Rostova (No. 3): Conclusion (2020)
I HATE this episode! So sick already!!!
The writers of this show is ridiculous. If it wasn't for James Spader, I would have stopped watching this show a long time ago. I am sick of EVERY other character on this show!
The Kids in the Hall: Episode #1.1 (2022)
OMG, still hilarious!
I was laughing my ass off watching this first episode. That strip club sketch is fricken hilarious! For those reviewers who left negative reviews, you obviously DON'T get TKITH! All the elements are still there, all the absurdity, all the unconventionality that made them brilliant are all still there with The Kids 2022. I am so happy they are back, they have been away TOO LONG!!!!
