The Professionals (1966)
Censored scene!
I saw this back when it was first released in 1966. Before the joke of a ratings system, and filmed under the Hays Code.
In one scene, on their escape from Raza, she attempts to seduce Burt Lancaster and drops her top. It is dark but you can still see in the lower right of the screen she is ALL WOMAN! WOW!
A few months later I caught this movie in another town. When this scene appears, a black fog suddenly covers the lower right of the screen covering her womanhood.
That black fog has been there ever since. From VCRs to CDs. Saw it on the Sony Channel a few days ago. Yep censored.
So glad I saw her as she was really filmed back when I was 20 years old.
La cintura di castità (1967)
Dull film.
If you are expecting to see some skin, forget it. The movie poster shows more than in the movie.
When the knight brings in the chastity belt, you hear her struggles off screen, then you see a fully clothed Monica slide down the wall and a "clank" when she hits the floor. Saw the film once back then. Never since. A waste of good time.
Say Goodbye (1971)
Proven fake back in the 1970s
The hunting of the polar bear was a bear tagging operation. When the "hunter" raises and shoots his rifle you can actually see the dart fly out of the bore. The "death" scene is a fake (the moma bear was drugged) designed to inflame anti-hunting and anti-gun passions at the time coming just a few years after the John and Bobby killings.
