The screen shots got annoying after the first 10. The editing was horrible. New is not always good. I watched 3 episodes and stopped. A waste of my time. What is it with "Mother" and her son? The kid's part was not well thought out. The background music sounded like a rehash from a porn movie. Yes, the chicks are hot, but beyond that the show had no redeeming qualities. There was gratuitous that seemed out of place. I have seen more violent movies where the violence did not seem out of place. Knitting to relax and you are a killer? Editing again. When they pull into the hotel the kid is not in the back seat. I guess they forgot about him.

Too many clichés….

...and not very original. The characters are not believable and came across as being forced onto the screen. Just another worn out revenge movie.

I have never seen the original. So that is cleared up.

On the plus side the camera angles and scenes were well done from a technical perspective.

Samuel L. Jackson's part character should have been developed more. It seemed that the movie was trying to relive Mr. Glass from "Unbreakable" which Mr. Jackson nailed in that movie.

The movie does not stand on its own merit. Period. There is NO character growth, most of the action scenes are shoddy at best and all seemed misplaced. The action scenes were simply added to have action scenes.

It was still a movie that should have never been made.

Incredible Acting....but.....

The 1st 2 seasons only carried from one episode to another based on the characters making the same stupid mistakes....one followed another. After a while it became "Oh come on give me a break." It became too unrealistic.

In no way does my review diminish the acting skills of every single actor in each and every episode. From that stand point I give it a solid 10 out of 10. No one actor missed a beat and they all played their roles to perfection.

Kudos to Brent Sexton for playing the blue-collar man. Gritty and edgy performance from this talented actor. I hope we see more of him.

Pompeii the movie. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Other than Keifer Sutherland (outstanding) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (outstanding) the acting was pathetic. The screenplay was awful and the special effects mediocre.

Kit Harrington and Emily Browning's "acting" if that is what you want to call it consisted of blank long-lost love stares into each other's eyes. After the first 50 shots of them staring at each other it got creepy.

I only gave it 3 stars because of Keifer Sutherland and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
