The Prank Panel (2023)
Good, clean fun!
I really don't get the negative comments here. This show is gold! And very well needed for a laugh in these times that we live in.
There's none of that "it's just a prank bro" BS. Just nice clean comedy.
As for what people are saying about the cast, you can see that they're enjoying what they're doing, and Gabourey, well, to me she doesn't come off as obnoxious or self-centred at all. The full cast in this are perfect for the show.
It's such a shame that people don't really take pleasure from things anymore, and seem to have a "tear the world apart, and judge everything negatively" attitude.
Loosen up, have some fun. Stop being so sensitive and serious about everything. We only have one life, enjoy it while you can.
Lastly, season two, please!
American Horror Story: Something's Coming (2022)
This is still American Horror Story.
It's quite sad to see that this season has already had so many negative reviews.
I can only assume that it's due to the subject of this season. People not being comfortable with the theme. Fair enough, we're all different. The world would be a very boring place if we were all the same
I'm really trying to not put out any spoilers, but it's not easy.
I know that a few people have already mentioned the movie "Cruising". This season is very, very much so influenced by that movie. And it's been done well.
It sadly does capture all of negativity, the abuse, the dismissal of the gay community during that period of time.
I'm intrigued as to where this season will be heading towards the last episodes.

Body Fixers (2016)
Toxic.
The very fact that this show is called "body fixers" is bad enough. Promoting that people need to be fixed, when nothing is wrong with them in the first place.
It's this sort of show mixed with how people feel bad about themselves because Instagrammers, YouTubers any of that online trash that people spend hours a day watching, and leading them to be insecure because they're not "perfect".
News flash. No one is perfect. More and more people become riddled with insecurities because they are constantly exposed to standards which in real life are unattainable.
This plays directly into that. Broadcasting people's insecurities In the name of entertainment.
This is the very sort of thing that should not be, and will boost mental health problems.
No one is perfect, and when people learn that, believe that, and stop trying to live up to modern day standards, which are all fake in the first place, well, maybe then everyone will be so much happier.
For real, stop comparing yourself to others. Be you.
Flinch (2019)
Good, but not quite so harmless fun!
As I said, good, but so harmless fun. And I love it! So much so that I would love to appear on this show myself!
I don't get the bad reviews staying that the challenges are too repetitive, because they're really not, even if they are it's enjoyable to see all the contestants reactions!
Watch it not expecting too much from, other than some good old fashioned fun.
I hope that this show sets a president for more shows like this to be made.
The world is a very miserable place to live in right now, and it's in desperate need of distractions like this that you just sit down, watch and stop thinking about these times, even if it is for just 20 plus minutes at a time.
Though saying that I binge watched all the episodes, and will be doing so at some other point in time.
I hope that this gets a thumbs up for season 2!
