WOMEN STRONG! LOOK HOW STRONG WOMEN ARE!
6 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A 100lb girl can kill a creature that just wrecked a grizzly bear in hand to hand combat and a whole special ops team was decimated by with modern weapons in previous movies. She can pull it off though because she's a woman, the strongest force in the universe! This movie is absurd and I'm tired of seeing twig like females doing things like this in media.

Do your research
29 April 2021
This film is a biased perspective on important issues. Many of the points the film makes simply aren't accurate when you dig deep into the details. Do your own research and you will see their data is often times pulled from old studies which have now been updated or they are purposely cherry picking info to maintain a certain narrative.

Do terrible things happen in the world, of course. Is it as bad as the film makes it out to be by pulling all the right emotional strings, not really. Read some of the many counter arguments/articles that have been posted all over by now and you will see that is the case.

Really I could talk about this for hours here but it's already been covered elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and get a more full view of the issues if you have the time. This film is very far from the honest perspective it tries to portay itself as.

ReEdit Needed
18 December 2020
Someone needs to edit this back into chronological order, it serves zero purpose to have it jump around all over the place. Whatever hack writer thought this was a good idea needs to slap himself back into sanity.

That's the only point worth making, everyone else has covered the show.

VERY mixed feelings
6 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
On the one hand it's a very interesting intimate look into the life of this one specific octopus and it's environment which makes you appreciate them so much more. Most of this you already know though if you've watched enough NatGeo.

On the other it's told by this absolute clown of guy. He's talking about the best feeling in the world was engaging with the creature at one point. Meanwhile his wife and son are probably watching this thinking what about when your kid was born or when you were married or a million other things. They're also probably thinking you need to get over your mental breakdown and care about us as much as you do it or you're going to be divorced soon paying dearly.

Then you have his delusional take on nature and needing to be removed from it. Hello, anyone home in there? You are an animal, you are already a part of nature, we are not removed from it existing outside of spacetime. You interacting with it is no different from the numerous species that are constantly interacting with each around the world since the beginning of life on the planet. He took only what he wanted with his interactions from the creature and cowered from those that were difficult. On several occasions he let it suffer when it was completely unnecessary to do so. He talked like he cared and mustered up some fake tears but talk is cheap. If I saw this guy on the street getting roughed up by a gang I would just keep walking. "Sorry my man, I can't interfer that's just nature". Absolute clown!

All in all it is worth watching for the nature segments, but you can honestly fast forward through his monologuing and self important babble when there is no nature on the screen.

Meme Level Ridiculous
2 February 2020
An hour and a half of Taylor whining about how hard her life is, you can't be serious. This is 1st world problems the movie. I'd bet everything I have pretty much everyone reading this has WAY more problems than she ever will. Right now at this moment some poor soul on this planet is dying because they couldn't get even the basic food, water, and shelter.....
