The Witchfinder (2022)
Daisy May Cooper is a comedic star on the rise
Although Daisy May is not be as well known in the US, her European chops are well seasoned. She is funny, employs great timing, and fit her characters to the edge of the brim.
This comedic tv show is not rated among the best ever made, the writing still allowed Daisys' talent to show through. If you want an easy to follow, light hearted comedy about a dark period in human history - this could bed it.
The premise of this tv show is easy enough 'get a suspected criminal to trial'. You can naturally anticipate bumps and bruises along this way. Ending triumphantly in...I'm not telling. Watch and see!!
While race fails to play a sufficient role in this film, class does. Where and to whom you are born dictates the outcome of your life - beginning to end. The scenes do show some obvious cross over appeal between classes.; Hoping to remind us being a good person is a daily choice.
The House of Tiny Tearaways with Dr Tanya Byron (2005)
Fantastic
For parents, people thinking of becoming parents, or anyone else for that matter - Tiny Tearaways is phenomenal. The children are doing their best to do it there way, and Dr Bryon is here to say different. What I do know is that it's not the children who need to change, it's always the parents.
The Pharmacist (2020)
You too can be a hero
This tells the story of 1 man who decided that he couldn't look away when he knew something wasn't right. Even through the worse loss any parents could bear, his dogged determination found a murderer & a doctor complicit in murders. What a hero.
Raised by Wolves (2013)
I keep returning...
I have watched this series several times. Everyone is amazing and funny and heartwarming. If you need something real and funny dont miss this series season one and two.
Catastrophe (2015)
Finally, a Realistic Relationship I Envy
What draws me to a comedy requires that I can relate too the situations and the characters. As an African-American female, there can be times when it's difficult to focus when no one looks like me. However, the story of this couple is so relatable regardless of race or location. Their story could happen to anyone, and the relationship continues to be realistic.
What I love most is that the success of their relationship comes from their ability to find humor even at the worst of times. And they don't take themselves too seriously. If more real relationships developed this quality there would be less divorce in the world. But that is my humble opinion.
This is a great watch for anyone looking to have a good time and a great laugh!
