Essential viewing
Hard, but essential viewing. Ignore the ratings of the fascist bots. A modern history of political zombies whipped into a moronic frenzy by the Idiot in Chief, who, to this day, is astoundingly still not in jail. It is a miracle this did not end up in a bloodbath, like it so very nearly could have.
Show it in schools.

Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog (2021)
The most useful of all dog trainers
With empathy, understanding and practical advice that I actually used, Cesar Millan is the best of the lot. This is very useful for seasoned and newbie dog owners.
Portillo's Empire Journey (2020)
More spinning than a spinning top
Do we still need to find an excuse for blatant colonialism? Are we still buying the story of Britain's exceptionalism? Drivel and useless drivel at that...
Shedding (2019)
What we have in common is more important than what we don't
A little film with a big heart and an important message.
Shot on a iPhone, this film goes to prove that it is much more important to have ideas and to tell well a universal story. Well done to all involved.
Under the Shadow (2016)
A haunting, intelligent film for an educated film audience
This is one of the best horror films I have ever seen, As far removed from the shlock of hollywood fodder an intelligent audience may wish to stray. For once with a complex story and intriguing back story of a war torn country and society a genuinely haunting and lingering malaise of a film.
Trickster (2020)
rehashed fodder and graphic animal cruelty
Showing dead animals is a sure sign of no talent or imagination
Out of Shadows (2020)
cretins will swallow this whole
A sorry crock of stercum tailor-made to feed on the paranoid delusions of antivax, flat earthers ignorant plebs who will swallow this whole because they are unable to understand that this entire castle is built on foundations which have the consistency of diarrhea. BTW television's etymological meaning is vision transmitted from a distance (Greek/Latin) Not (Jesus Wept) Tell-a-vision as stated in this piece of garbage. But, dear readers, who forks out the money to make and disseminate this dangerous nonsense? Follow the white rabbit into that particular hole.
Defending Jacob (2020)
very average, no suprise fodder
Written and acted by numbers ths is forgettable TV fodder
Tell Me Who I Am (2019)
Don't listen to the victim blamers
A handful of soul-dead keyboard warriors have pushed down the ratings of this beautiful and delicately-handed documentary. Beware victims blamers: they ruin our world.
The Great Hack (2019)
A must see documentary for our times
To prove how deep is the rabbit hole, please note that the previous "reviewer" who gave this 1 star is still yapping about "the will of the people" so either he has not watched this, or it is beyond him to comprehend it. Don't do the same.
Leaving Neverland (2019)
A Story of our times: how fame can make you get away with almost anything
The Jacksonphiles are screaming like banshees in denial...well they are just that: peripheral extras buying into the illusion for years and now seeing it crumble whilst refusing point blank to accept the evidence, any evidence. I am very concerned about the "reviewers" here saying the testimonies of the two protagonists are not credible: they are amongst the most believable and moving things I have ever seen, The Jackson cultists have crossed the (perhaps thin to start with) threshold away from human empathy and nothing will shake them from their untenable position. Let us hope they will never be called to serve on jury dities. This documentary is a MUST. Let us hope that this and the #metoo movement will signal the turning of the tide and that we will be able to recognise more easily and we will adopt the belief in the victims as our default stance.
The Zohar Secret (2016)
Ambitious and thought through
This is a very ambitious film that very nearly manages to deliver the motherload.
The engaging central (double) performance acts as glue in this complex script.
It is a pity that other readers slated it just because they didn't understand it.
