Oppenheimer (2023)
Important film to watch, especially in the new context of UAP disclosure
I saw this film in the context of the upcoming UAP/UFO disclosure, which is tightly linked to nuclear proliferation. UAP's have taken an interest in nuclear test sites since their inception, including documented cases of them 'turning off' multiple missile and missile silo's, and I think that this is possible what is being referred to as the chain reaction to change the world.
I also watched this movie in terms of AI, we can't stop weaponizing it because otherwise someone else will weaponize it, in turn creating another Cold War in which mutual planetary destruction will help keep nations in check.
There really are 2 movies here, the one you watch, and the one that underpins the psychopathic nature of our pathological existence on this planet. This is home, there is no planet B, we really need to stop f-ing it up.
The way I look at it, we're monkey's with a big red button that says, 'maybe don't push', but look where that's gotten us.
Thank Nolan for making us think and making us truly understand the gruesome nature of the military industrial complex, the machine that's still churning and has now found a place to expend It's soon to expire ammunition in the Ukraine conflict, that's practical.
When we're no longer here, it's okay because this space rock will keep on turning, even when the human race is burning.
Last Knights (2015)
Wow....
It's funny because the acting is quite good and the writing is ok. But the rest is very cliche, and the setting is often laughable.
The Great Wall (2016)
It's okay, entertaining but also the dialogue is a bit boring
Chacrters and dialogue boring, cinematography and cgi are good. Concepts are interesting, I found myself referencing Wikipedia a few times to find out the history of elements in the story like the 4 legendary beasts of China and the 4 inventions of China amoung other things. So for me it's was also educational.
Bone Tomahawk (2015)
Just boring
I love movies, good movies with great pacing that thrust you through the experience, I saw this with my girlfriend and all we were doing is looking at each other every 10-15 minutes with puzzled looks on our faces. It dragged on and on, nothing really linking the story and pushing it onwards.
The first 10 minutes were interesting and enthralling. The shots were okay and locations were cool. I'm also someone that really likes the use of silence in films that I watch, it just seemed here often like it was being used without a reason. When the characters finally did talk it was just plain bland.
Maybe its just me, but this film is in my opinion highly overrated.
