Ernesto (2020)
5/10
My score based on eye candy only
3 January 2022
Ernesto, played by Frederico Russo, is a beautiful Italian boy without doubt and was the only reason I stuck with this movie. His eyes constantly draw you in and you patiently wait for something to happen, but it never does. There's no discerning plot and it's way too artsy for its own good. The dialogue and scenes are almost as if someone took a razor to the footage then spliced them together randomly.

Just one big Apple ad
2 October 2021
This was a cringefest. Apple barged their way in with this episode length ad for their products and services. I had to skip this after about 10 minutes. I found it embarrassing. Product placement is bad enough but this took it to a whole new level. The 10 star ratings are from people who have been clearly hoodwinked.

Modern Family: Game Changer (2010)

Sponsored by Apple

I love Modern Family, but this episode was one big cringefest. I hate product placement with a passion but this took it to another level. I write this review in 2021 and obviously this episode coincided with Apple's iPad launch. It was embarrassing.

This will melt your heart

You have to keep reminding yourself that this is a TV series played by actors. It really is hard to believe that this is not a real and beautiful romance between two real and beautiful boys. The talent is exceptional, the story totally believable and relevant in 2020, the year that none of us will forget.

It's clever, humorous, heart wrenching and brimming with cuteness. If you get through the series without shedding a tear then you are stone cold heartless.

Also featuring a cackling hen
16 July 2020
Another amusing episode where Tom, Barbara and Margot all take to the potter's wheel with mixed results. Unfortunately an audience member cackles loudly throughout the entire episode and once heard you can't ignore how irritating it becomes. She would blend in well inside the chicken coop.
