Skull Island (2023)
Boring
The first scene is promising but I had to turn it down after e3.
Animation, dialogue, logic, joke are all terrible.
A girl who speaks English, lives all by herself in an island that full of monster, but doesn't know some words. So how did she learn about the language while having enough skill in such a harsh place?
Are the people afraid of those monsters or not? I just can't tell. People seem to be relaxed and panicked at the same time.
An island that never been discovered before, but when people are on that island, they can call chopter easily. What's the logic?
The conversation is long, uninteresting, emotionless and pointless too. I just couldn't stand watching characters talk anymore, thus I turned the show off.
Maô Gakuin no Futekigôsha ~Shijô Saikyô no Maô no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi no Gakkô e Kayô~ (2020)
Random plots
It's fun with an OP main character but the pacing is not too fast. But every thing just happens randomly. The villains are powerful at one time and suddenly be beaten totally.
The civilian are against the main character because of nearly no reason at all. (yes there is bit why do they believe in the opposite but not him?)
And what the hell is the SS2? Plots just are thrown to a mix of everything. Like whaaaa then whatttt and whhhaaaat??? Nothing is well explained and there are just more and more out of no where info.
And the villains now are forced to be villains, then they just decided to be in hood side because they just know how to fight back? The boss is beaten easily and just jumped to other place then forbid our main to go into it?
Hometown (2021)
Stay away if you still have something to watch
This is not a thriller series, because I don't feel scare at all. The first episode is promising, but after that, the story is unnecessary long and boring.
And why does it target India culture again? The bad religion uses Indian character, wear Indian cloth, and use Yoga for their ritual? It feels weird by any mean. I think the producer want to use something that is not popular among Korean, but why not just come up with something totally from imagination?
The bad guy had too much power, I am not saying what kind of power here but it surely too much. At first episodes I thought there are something strange happened, but then it turns out it was 1 of the super power that the bad guy had.
The ending of this series is, well, too original, unlike the first impression it tries to make.
Totally NO from me.
Re: Mind (2017)
Run away!!!
First I have to admit that I have only finished E7, but I can't watch it any more.
The setup of the series was very promising but then everything just went downhill very fast.
- The first thing is the actors can't even act. I don't have enough vocabulary to say how terrible they are.
- In the first 2 episodes, when everything was not so clear why were they kidnapped, the discussion was so lame. The characters kept saying one sentence again and again. I didn't feel fear at all, just very boring.
- The characters are like typical manga/anime, but because the acting is too bad, you won't feel any energy like what you normally see in manga/anime.
- After episode 4, you will realize that there is nearly none scene out of the room. Every actions were told by the character, not the real scene. It is just like you are hearing an audio book.
The last thing, and it is the first item I listed above. What stop me watch the series is the terrible acting. I can't stand allowing the actors to hurt my eyes and ears any more, then I decided to stop watching it. If you ask me, then the most scary thing in this series is the actors. They are too bad so I was scared to continue to watch.
