A sophisticated case study of loneliness
28 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This isn't a movie about mind-blowing plot twists or head-scratching mysteries. Those elements are there but subtly. It was genius how the director got the audience so intrigued and interested not in what would happen next, but more about how do characters feel like, their development and depth.

The story is of Mr. Oldman the prestigious cold world-famous art-expert. Who isn't the biggest fan of human relationships, only taking pleasure in his still antique portraits. But this slowly unfolds very interestingly, and not in a cliché expected manner.

What truly impressed me, is the third act with its major surprise; is that there was zero interest in the walk-through of how it all worked out up until this point, your usual go-to technique to explain a plot twist, instead, only the surprise was stated and instead focusing on the psychological aftermath of the protagonist which perfectly goes in tune with the atmosphere of the movie which is a deep look into the psych of a malcontent old man.

The dragged-on sequel
22 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
First of, let's talk about the 1st 2 movies, they both successfully followed the same continuous rhythm with pretty much the same characters but each had their own uniqueness and addition to the story and characters development.

But this one was so confused! first of all, there were too much focus on Stifler's character; which is weird and too much since the previous 2 movies had solid plots for each and every member of the gang, making this element a key factor to why American Pie is so relatable and light-heartedly represents the good old high-school gang with various characters and views but they still stick together.

How about Michelle's character? it barely had any presence and pretty much zero character development -which is weird since the whole movie should be about a wedding in which she is the bride-.

To sum it all up, it was a movie about Stifler trying to impress parents and to hook up with a confused girl.

And it just DRAGGED ON, trying too much to recreate the funny awkwardness that the first 2 movies were characterized by, but it was too heavy and unnatural, it didn't have any flow to it.

The struggle of keeping the inner-child alive
9 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I fell in love of how the most challenging connection that he had to mend was with his inner pure child, this was beautiful! and as the movie progresses as he slowly goes through a soul cleansing, the scenes of his child-self become more defined, vivid and more alive! and the final scene where (imagined or real whatever) he meets a kid that looked exactly like him, and he handed him the ball peacefully in the most connection he had with his younger self, just wow! I also think that at the beginning his hate to children was somehow connected to the distance he had from his child-self, and approving to help the couple have a baby and actually acknowledging it as his own was the peek of child-self confession, and hence inner peace and not feeling so vacant and lost..

At first I thought that the pictures he took were going to be a big thing that people will cry at at his funeral and see through his eyes what he captured and wouldn't tell them, but nope, it was more about the moment he captured the picture not the picture itself, we never even saw any of these pictures, he didn't even bother to capture them with professional camera. This movie wasn't about the tragedies the family of a cancer patient go through, It didn't want to overwhelm you by rivers of tears!, nope, none of that here, the main character isn't even your goody victim type.

It's human, it's calm enough for you to make your own thoughts and conclusions, no certain feelings or reactions are forced upon you with tragic howling scenes.

Breaking Bad: Felina (2013)
Season 5, Episode 16
Happy Tears
22 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
*Attention, this will be LONG and full of spoilers* Let's start from the end, I have never felt so bitter sweet for the death of the lead character as the end, and for the miserable endings for all the other ones.. it wasn't horrible as it seemed, not at all, it was right, it was peaceful, it was melancholy serene :') ! I loved how he just striped his soul naked, absolute honesty, "I liked it, it made me alive" that was one of the most beautiful moments of the show. And how he died among his beloved and "baby blue" was beautifully played, and there was this most relaxed smile upon his face, this was really beautiful! this is basically the only thing that made him alive, would it have been better if he stayed a clean honest-to-god, dying family man? No. this is how it should have been, we come and go on this earth to have some sort of life, he was 50 years late at that, it was about time to become his complete self, and damn right he did, he compensated those 50 years of nothings and cowardliness and cautious in exactly 2 years! BRAVO!.. he reconnected well with his perfectionist and competitive side, he gradually stepped out of his boring lifeless cautious zone to finally admit that he's way beyond that, he truly lived. Now let's go to the social artwork of this show, and of W.W's life too... the relationship between Jesse Pinkman and Walter White.. WOW! it's sincerely one of the greatest human relationships I've witnessed, when a relationship is initially based on tough times, it's strong, unlike romantic relationships that are based on sweet times.. they hated each other, they keep saving each other lives, they don't know why, it's just they're each others closest. Great show, Incredible acting, The most depth of characters that I've ever witnessed EVER, characters are real and incredibly complex, every move, every look, every breath is incredibly REAL! it all goes together, amazing amazing character construction.. the art of the soundtrack OH MY GOD.. a series of killings accompanied by classical music, the most tension moments accompanied by silence.. every single choice of soundtrack was GENIUS, it always made you feel what were you intended to feel, I also LOVED how there this beautiful focus and significance on OBJECTS <3 like WOW, the eye of the teddy bear, the fly, and again THE FLY, Jesse's watch, representing gale's character through still shots of his belongings. to every single person who contributed in this masterpiece, I raise my hat off for you sir, it's PERFECTION, I sincerely can't find a tiny mistake with it. Thank you guys for bringing this to our lives!

Heartwarming
27 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
It's one of the very few movies that I've watched as a kid, then watched again as an adult, and loved it even more. It's a 90's movie, that being enough, the richest decade in the movie industry. Little does one witness such an amazing actress at this young age (Liesel Matthews).. she got me into tears BIG TIME.. real tears.. not just some crap.. It's a minor detail, but I really liked that scene when they showed the human side of Miss Minchin (Eleanor Bron). And there's this beautiful beautiful attention to details <3.. this scene of the black balloon that exploded.. <3.. her relationship and bonding with her only friend is beautiful.. they all what they've got.. in a way that's both sadly beautiful. It's one of those movies where you're touched on real stuff.. not just caught up in the moment with cheap emotional triggers.. it's REAL.
