The show takes familiar styles of characters and refreshingly takes them a less familiar direction. So many shows you can guess what the character is going to do, how they are going to scheme, what misunderstanding they are going to have that will lead to the avoidable fallout, etc. But Ted Lasso has such heart and creates nuances with the characters that is lovely to watch and easy to root for. Everyone has their flaws, most have redeemable qualities and none of it is totally predictable or overdone.

Loving this show and can't wait to see more as season two unfolds!

It's a good thing that Jane is doing the show her way and not trying to be a curt Anne (who I also thought was great) from the previous run of Weakest Link. Jane gives a solid delivery with her dry humor. I enjoy the format and lightheartedness of the show. My husband and I love trivia/quiz shows and the randomness of the questions makes it fun to play along while watching. We'll keep watching!
