With its fascinating deaths, that are scary, but not all to gory, its superb storyline (This is a horror movie, people!), Its great acting, for a horror movie especially, and its twists, turns, whodunits and everything makes for a fascinating and suspenseful fright-fest.

The movie does use Suspense tactics a lot, it might seem, but it is effective, so who can argue against them? It isn't slow moving, but yes, it does take some time to introduce some sort of middle section, fill in the plot a little, and add some character depth, instead of just skipping from death scene to death scene. It is similar to The Scream Series in that it is scary, centers mildly obnoxious teens, good deaths, good story, original and not just another Axe movie. So, if it does sort of resemble that, good job to the director for picking that movie to resemble!!!

The movie is scary and starts of good with a very suspenseful scene! It moves on to a suspenseful movie and a twist you probably would not expect! I don't want to spoil any of the movie, it wouldn't be as good then!

The actors are great! From the main stars to the supporting cast, they all are great! Rebecca Gayheart really pulls her role of, showing she is a mentionable actress, as seen here!

The deaths aren't exactly all that New, per-say, but they do leave some lasting effects, and are pretty suspenseful and scary!

Do yourself a favor as a horror fan...or not, and rent this, buy this, whatever, just watch this movie!!!!!!

As a horror movie fanatic, a can say this movie was actually very good. A main plot it had, and all events were built around it. It was chilly, scary and haunting...but, really, were's the witch?

The movie built its own theory around the haunting, which had NOTHING to do with the real ones. People didn't want to see there take, people wanted to see the bell witch stories come to life. Im not going to spoil it, but if your looking for your bell witch, the really isn't one. It doesn't follow a original theme at all.

A 7, for a good movie, and creativity. Unfortantly, the movie should of been more like the real thing, instead of making up a totally new theme and reason.

When we think of horror, we think of "slasher". We think of Ghostface running around stabbing people, and we "Whats New", or of Leatherface, swinging his Chainsaw into the sunset, and we think "Thats Campy" or of Jason haunting the camp he died at, and we think "Well, thats nothing new!". But, then we see Carrie, and we think "Oh...my...god...!"

Carrie, directed by the wonderful, talented Brain DePalmer, was actually a book, by, Stephen King. With these two minds at work, how could we not get something totally incredible? Carrie, isn't just another horror movie. It is a old idea, finally brought to the screen for millions to watch. The reason it is so good is because it is done so perfect, and it is done so delicately, and mad to tenderly...that the finishing product throws a movie at you that you didn't expect.

Carrie, is our typical high-school misfit. She is mad fun of bye the lots of peers (the popular kids?) and the ones that don't make fun of her, probably are the ones spreading the nasty rumors. To make matters worse, the place were everyone should feel safe, her home, is just another living nightmare, making school a warm-up for her. She lives with a religious fanatic mother, who has her fare share of problems as well. All along, Chris Hargenson, accompanied with her boyfriend Billy Nolen, have a deadly surprise waiting for Carrie, and the most important night of her life...that will change everything, forever! But what everyone doesn't know, is that she has powers to move things!

Now, after reading that dry, one dimensional summary, you might not think it is that good, but you must watch the movie, the you will know.

What makes this movie great is it isn't just a horror movie, but a drama...the interactions between everyone, the good that people do, that only ends up causing more chaos. How truly evil people can really be, and...making the unbelievable, believable. Carrie has so many levels and hidden things, you might want to watch three times to really see it for what it is worth, not just a horror, but almost the study of humans...of course, it is very scary, indeed. You might also want to bring a pillow...just in case.

The movie fast-paced, but wonderful telling of Carries life, just sets the tone. Starring Sisspy Spacek, who does a job nobody else could do with the role of Carrie, really will make you think. It also stars Piper Laurie, queen of the stage, playing Carries crazy mother. Her performance is done with so much power, it will make you shiver. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast does a wonderful job, and keeps you on your feet with Betty Buckly, Nancy Allen, who does a wonderful job portraying your classic, high-school bully, Amy Irving, as the kind-hearted, but misguided, Sue Snell, William Katt, as Tommy, Sues kind-hearted boyfriend, Jon Travolter, as Billy, and PJ Soles, who always shines no matter what role she is playing.

Killer dolls. Everyone has dreams about them, but, it takes a real brave soul to make a movie about one! Child Play, starring the good guy doll, Chucky, who has the soul of a killer stuck in him, is what makes it original and very scary! Not only that, but the doll seems alive!

When your here a Sequel is being made, not many people have high expectations, however, this one blew away the series, and was a big improvement to the first!

Yes, the first was Scary, but this just rules it. First, characters are better and interesting. Second, gore is up, making it even more horrible, third, comedy to the increase, everyone loves black humor, and second, better storyline setting!

In my opinion, this movie was very good.

In this movie, our young star from the first reprises his role as the innocent boy, who has been terrorized by Chucky. His mother has been sent to a Mental Instatutoin, and the boy is adopted. His loving parents give him a Chucky doll...and the mayhem starts. We also have the rebel sister, who makes the movie just a lot funner!

This movie is a great sequel. It doesn't try to be different, it just gives us what we want, and, it does it very well!

I have read many different reviews on this movie, however, if you notice, i gave it a 10 out of 10, and i never do that! I loved it! Being a horror movie fanatic, i do understand what we as viewers want. Some of us want blood, some of us want suspense, some of us want campy, it just keeps rolling, this movie raps it up, throws some comedy in, and tosses it at you. It is the best Chucky i have ever seen! First, i loved the whole plot outline, wonderful! It mad it much more interesting and enjoyable to watch. I loved Jennifer Tilly, great actress.

In my opinion, this is a perfect horror. It gave it a different feel! I great feel. You really should rent this, or buy it! If you already watched it and hated it, watch it again, as many times until you see it for what it really is, a great addition to Chucky and the genre!

Trust me, I've seen all the horror movies you need to see. Texas Chainsaw, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm, Friday the 13th, all those big hits. Even the little ones! And let me tell you, i haven't watched a good horror movie in a long time. No, not because they are not making them (although, thats probably true) but because i just have not watched. When, on the shelf i saw House of 1000 corpses, i was eager to rent! I wanted to get back into horror movies, and thought this would be the perfect mixture of blood, gore, and scares. Well, it disappointed me.

I like Rob Zombies way of doing movies. With the cartoonish feel about it. Hey, I'm into movies, writing and stuff, i respect him, but, it got a little annoying. I felt like the plot moved to quick, before you know it they are getting their heads chopped off. Because its so fast movie, with no real buildup, it does not leave much time for being afraid of what will happen next, with the exception of a few scenes that had my heart pounding. It gets good in the end, when everyone is dead except for one. I did feel my heart go for those who died. I felt bad, and was rooting for the bad guys to be taken out! But...it wasn't great. If your looking for gore, there isn't much. I mean, i didn't see much gore effect. Its pretty much a movie set up to be A BETTER Texas Chainsaw, witch the purpose of giving us kicks from watching people suffer. I like that...when its done right, this time, i could tell it was only a movie...

Hey, I have no problems with the movie either. I wasn't one of those religious people that didn't want it to come out. In fact, i was interested in the movie, and it seemed good. I could not wait to see it. No, i was not expecting it to be a big suspense movie, but i was expecting something...and i didn't seem to find it!

The movie and its explaining of the DaVinci Code is the only interesting part, the rest is dry and boring. It dragged on for too long, and not just the movie in whole. Scenes took forever to complete, it seemed that even when you thought the movie was over, it just continued to drag on. It wasn't interesting, there wasn't any characters that you really could relate to and like that would get you hooked on the movie. Tom Hanks wasn't great. There were only a few Scary Parts. At some scenes the acting was actually bad!

I think if they tried to make it a normal good movie, and add some effects and suspense in, it would of been a favorite. However, they tried to make it this movie-of-the-time, 3 hour, big important movie and it just ended up being rubbish!

I give it a three, could of been better!

I didn't expect much from this movie. First of all, i never would of even heard of this movie, however, i found it in a box set of some old "good" horror movies called "Nightmares from the Crypt". I watched, hoping to get some good, weird, bloody old horror and shut the movie off with mixed feelings.

It wasn't great, or anywhere near it. The movie is about a offbeat group of tourists, each guilty of one of the seven deadly sins, except for one. They stop at a campy castle, and the horror starts. The helper of the devil comes to get them for their sinful ways, but can it be bought?

Its a okay movie. I mean, i didn't see much of it. There was not enough gore for me. Yes, there was a nice amount of suspense, and the feeling the movie gave off was creepy, but the acting was wretched! Every character was one dimensional, and very boring. The star, who was the helper of the devil was very good, but that is as far is it gets.

The movie idea was actually good, but it wasn't great. As you can see i have mixed feelings. You actually have to watch it to form your own opinion. I know a lot of people who loved it.

The movie has some sex scenes, not just between man and women. The deaths are a little disturbing, not much gore though, which some people like!

It is actually worth a watch, if you have nothing else to watch...

I watch General Hospital all the time, and i must say, it is the best the ever! It is a SoapOpera, but, i think even men will enjoy it. (I say that because men do watch it, but mostly women) There is just enough action to keep the men interested, and enough passion to keep the women. The show is just a good show, point blank! Its plots are amazing, you never know what will happen next. Also, the characters are written to a Tee, so you fall inlove with them, and end up picking favorites, and picking those you don't like! Some people say the show is not good anymore, but i disagree. If you were to of watched back in the day, it had a much different feeling, now, mob families rule Port Charles (where General Hospital is located) But, story lines don't just center around that. If you decide to give GH a try, some characters you should look for are Edward, Monica, Alan, Luke, Tracy, Bobbie, Leslie and Audry. They are have been on the show for a long time. This show is my opinion, out of a 1-worst, 10-Best, id give it a 9. It is always keeps me entertained, but, nothing is perfect, even General Hospital!

Now, most people see Scream as just another horror flick. Yes, they see it as a GOOD horror flick but i believe it is better. It is not just some guy stalking people for no reason. The person has a motive---a strange one---but a motive. TO CREATE HIS OWN HORROR MOVIE! I think that is just genius. Also, The way they mention other horror films let you know that they are in the same world as you. I think the acting is great. Also, the terror is mixed with comedy! It is a smart movie but only horror fans can really appreciate it! Every little scene is mad scary no matter what. It is a great movie and i would give it a 10. However, to be fair i gave it a 9.
