The hype-machine has done it again! Convinced everyone that if you don't find this movie outstanding then you are just not that smart.

The plot is really not that hard to understand. Cobb job is to steal ideas from people's minds, which is done in their dreams during dream-sharing. Cobb wants to go home to his children, but cannot because he has been accused of murdering his wife. By planting a dream in a persons mind, some powerful people will clear his name, so he can see his children again. Pretty simple.

The main problem with this movie is the plot holes and irregularities in the rules set up during the movie. Eg. what is the point to the architect? How can the dream devices be in the dreams whit-in a dream (did the architect put them there, and how?)? You can hear through many levels of dreaming, but not feel twisted gravity? Can people just fall a sleep on demand? etc. etc. etc.

Even if one did not care about plot holes, there is an even bigger problem with the movie! There are plots going on at the same time on four levels of dreaming. Because we have to jump back and forth all the time the plot loses its intensity and depth.

On the positive side, the movie has excellent acting and visuals. The idea is relatively original (cough the matrix, cough Tron, cough any worlds-within-another-word movies). Its good to see some new-thinking in Hollywood instead of crap like Transformers, sequels and remakes.

All together the movie is nothing but mediocre. Lets hope that The Expendables will live up to the hype, else this will have been a pretty bad action movie season!

In the start of the movie we are introduced to a group of "badasses" that land in a jungle with parashutes. Both the make-up and the way the actors play their roles seem very stiff and unnatural. Brody as a Arnold Scwarzenegger "clone" just doesn't work! Right from the start of the movie you can guess which two people survive, which person is responsible for a twist in the movie etc.

The new predator and the predator dogs are all gimmicky! They have no real purpose, but at just in the movie to draw "nerds" to the cinema. I actually thought that AvP2 was better than this one.

Instead of waisting 10 $ on this movie, rather rewatch the original Predator!

This is a movie with a simple premise; a group of medicine students go to a cabin for their easter vacation to have fun, but unfortunately they run into some Nazi zombies.

The first 24 minutes of the movie is almost unwatchable! The acting is horrible, and the settings are poorly made. I almost turned the movie of at several occasions during these 24 minutes. The group are making old bad jokes in a mixture of Norwegian and English (Arnold Imitations, playing twister and blaming it on Hollywood, yelling BEER BEER BEER, etc.) and the plot is revealed by a random old annoying guy.

Luckily gory things start happening after these 25 minutes! For that point and till the end of the movie there is gore gore gore. The make-up of the Nazi zombies is great, and the gore is both inventive and well-made. For the guys looking for nudity, you'll be disappointed! If you survive the first half of the movie, the bad acting, annoying characters and bad jokes; and if you are a huge gore fan then this movie is for you. The gore is at times close to some of the gore presented in Braindead (Dead Alive), but only close! The movie is pretty similar the movie Cold Prey. Instead of this movie I'd recommend movies like Outpost and Severance, they are WAY better.

When I heard that Christian Bale was going to be in this movie I was psyched, but then I heard that McG was going to direct it. The guy who directed the Charlie's Angles movies, come on! I went into the movie with low expectations, so the movie would have to be really bad to make me disappointed. When I left the cinema, me and my friends were all HORRIBLY disappointed! Had we just witnessed Transformes 2? Terminator 1+2 were both scary, intense, thrilling and intelligent. This movie was none of this. Most scenes were filmed top-down, making all the intensity disappear. The robot Marcus was a bad edition to the movie! He was just wandering around the entire movie acting like he didn't care about anything. A boring character that one could not feel bad for in any way. John Connor didn't show any character og intelligence; he could just have been a random foot-soldier.

This movie had too many DUMB things to even be a decent movie! Robots being controlled by USA-sticks. Skynet headquarters having chairs, and only one guard robot. Skynet tricked Marcus, but yet skynet let Marcus turn off all of their defenses :-S And the list goes on.

Guess that the only movie worth watching this year will be James Camerones AVATAR :-)

This is the worthy sequel to Resident Evil! Wasn't fund of Resident Evil 2.

I just love postapocolyptic movies, and this movie was really fulfilling! I was bored at no time, and felt that the story was interesting, and with the ending a fourth movie would be great.

I know that Paul W.S. Anderson did not direct this movie, BUT is you enjoyed Soldier (1998), Resident Evil (2002), Event Horizon (1997) and Mortal Kombat (1995) you will also enjoy this movie. It's a very entertaining movie, but not very deep.

If you enjoyed this movie you will also like movies like: No Escape (1994), Fortress (1993) and even Deep Rising (1998), though Deep Rising isn't postapocolyptic, but has a nice setting though.

I just got it on DVD because I read of all the positive hype, and loved movies like "Stepford "Wifes", "Desturbing Behavior" and "The Mansurain Candidate", and I hoped to find more movies in this genre. I stumbled over this movie, and though I had found what I was looking for because of the good reviews and interesting plot, but I was really WRONG!

First of all, this movie has a really slow pace! You can deal with that is the acting and the atmosphere is good, but none of these were good. There was just about no atmosphere at all, you never get a shock or feel scared or even interested in the characters.

The Good: Kid with scare mask makes a kill. (Really great mask!) Nice filming while riding the car. (camera on backseat) Plot with potential

The Bad: only 5 kills in the entire movie, and only one is interesting. No interest in the characters hardly any focus on the experiments/plot Lots of random talk, no continuation in the movie No atmosphere, you feel nothing but boredom while watching this movie Boring surroundings Boring sound side of the movie

Conclusion: Not worth watching, even if your a horror fan. There is no reason for watching this movie, unless your a major fan of someone in it :-S Don't know who that should be!

I just bought this movie and four other movies for 15 $ or so. I just picked this movie up by random.

I watched it alone tonight, and got a good thrill. Rod Steiger really did a good job playing the "slimy" doctor. He really made me get angry with him.

The movie has a really good/dark atmosphere all the way through! Believable character reactions!

Watch it if you'd like to get a good thrill! And if you've seen all the classics already ;)
