Adam-12: Lost and Found (1972)
Emergency Cross Over!!!!
This must have been Emergency! First year. Cross Emergency! With Adam 12 with attractive (no fillers-fake parts) women and you get this fine Ep!.
Love seeing the interaction between the stars of the shows.
2 Broke Girls (2011)
Funny but crass
This is really funny show.
Unfortunately it is also filled with 10-15 jr high sex jokes that I guess appeals to alot of people.
Just like South Park is brilliantly funny, but then has to have gross out/outrageous language/sex thrown in.
Each member is genuinely funny
Not sure why they have to give rousing applause to the polish lady. Must be an inside joke.
Police Woman: Bloody Nose (1975)
My first police woman ep
I was not expecting much from a 70s police show.
This was really good!!!
I was excited to embark on other eps until i read the other review that said this is one of the best.
I guess I randomly picked the right one.
Caveman (1981)
Yes it is that bad
Free with Prime...had to click.....
horribly unfunny with zero dialogue.
Rated a 2 because the COLOR was surprisingly crisp and sharp and Ringo was as good as another grunting actor.
At least ringo found the love of his life.
Did paul do better with give my regards to broadway??
Camp Runamuck (1965)
Has Funny momenets
I have finally seen this for first time in 2021. I cringed when i heard the theme song at the beginning.....wayyy to romper roomish .......but then i couple eps in a see very little annoying kids and a fun boys vs girls (some hot) scenario....
A younger reuben kincaid and others have funny moments.....lots of silliness....certainly some is cringeworthy......but considering current alternatives, this stands above 2021 avg shows.
Love finding rare 60s shows.
The Smith Family: The Ex-Con (1971)
Is it a comedy or a drama?
I missed ep one, but just caught ep 2 on YT.
I love old shows.
I love finding old shows i have never seen and this is one.
It has a peppy opening theme that makes you think it is light hearted fun.
I found nothing slightly amusing about the show. It was awkward to watch.
Oddly the only one of the actors that brought life to the mundane show was the teenage girl.
Mad About You (1992)
They should separate the series in original and NEW
The original series was ok. The new series is unwatchable...as many people have already pointed out, Helen Hunts plastic surgery is a train wreck. It hurts to watch her on screen. And she is horribly annoying.
Paul Reseir holds up well.
Trying to be woke, there is an interracial couple.
Original series 5-6, New series 1.
So sad.
Petrocelli: Five Yards of Trouble (1975)
Petrocelli is so cool
Great acting as always by the leads.
Tony P takes these over the top, dated scenarios and makes the enjoyable!!!
He sure does drive alot for a defense lawyer.
Even a fun car chase scene.
And a character called 'Jackie the Worm'.
And 70s girls in bikini's with no silicone.
Barnaby Jones: Shadow of Fear (1977)
are there bad guys in this
This started out strong....sucked me right in......featured Lee Merriweather the most.....
Who is the good and bad guys?? Is Barnaby even necessary in this episdoe? He makes a couple of phone calls that he double checked ...
Colonel Flagg from MASH does a great job.
The ending.....was a serious let down for me.
But i recommend watching it.
The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet: The Ladder (1953)
old shows can be funny!!!!
This show is so surprisingly witty and humorous.
There was a time when the interplay between thorny and ozzie was the comic duo of the time.
So fun to see ricky nelson before he became the rock n roll icon! If you have never seen the show, this is a good one to start with.
Marcus Welby, M.D.: Sounding Brass (1970)
Moving
Perhaps I was just in a 'mood'. But I was moved in many ways the kindness shown certain characters in this episode (only the 2nd MW show I have seen)
I hope more people get to watch this episode.
Barnaby Jones: Death Beat (1977)
Mr Brady finds a new job after the bunch ended
Season 6 takes off with Robert Reed casting aside his squeaky clean Mr Brady image for smarmy news guy.
Manufacturing 'news'. Some forty years later, we learn this show was ahead of its time. Manufacturing news has become common place.
Definitely worth seeing Robert Reed in a different role. Underrated actor.
Enjoy!
Death Valley Days: Paid in Full (1965)
Cattle IOUs
I am desperate for 50s-70s shows i have never seen. Despite being on the air for 13 seasons, I had never seen DVD until today on MeTV. Thoroughly enjoyed the bright colors and desert scenery. Hunter was strong 'good' guy. I learned about the law in early texas, new mexico days. Perhaps parts were a little silly, but I enjoyed how they packed everything into a quick 30 min ep. I will definitely be watching more.
My Living Doll (1964)
Only 10 episodes FOUND
Found this on HOOPLA. Only 10 episodes have been found and are available on DVD and HOOPLA. Never saw or heard of it before, however it is a lost gem. Quite funny and a precursor to I Dream of Jeannie.
I hope the rest of the episodes are found!!
Many episodes deal with Rhoda learning how human society works. She also begins showing (or at least emulating) rudimentary emotions as the series progresses; in the episode "The Kleptomaniac", for example, she displays a childlike, playful attitude. At one point, McDonald notices this and utters, "What a goofy robot!", to which Rhoda replies, beaming, "The goofiest!" At the conclusion of this episode, Rhoda giggles without prompting after pulling a plot-resolving prank on another character.
