Young Sheldon (2017)
Season 5 very unpleasant.. lost interest and not funny
Season 1-3 were great. 4 was good. Season 5 is a disaster, I'm just losing interest. It's not funny, it feels like the writers are robbing me of the promise og a sitcom. I came here for light and funny, not for adultery, problems, awful characters and what not. It has been very very very unpleasant to watch season 5. I feel like punching that younger pastor and that neighbor that keeps hitting on george. Ridiculous writers, major losers. Take your upcoming sixth season and.. well, give it to the sleeze ball pastor and neighbor.. I don't understand why there seems to be this pathological need to destroy characters..
Eiffel (2021)
Unwatchable..
I lost all interest and started looking at my phone. The writing feels like it was done by a highschool teenager. A total waste of my time. It just goes back and forth the same issues, adding nothing important.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
You know.. for kids
My wife and I are watching it right now. I'm 38 and I find it to be very boring and childish. Weak plot, weak dialogue, weak characters all around. Cameos are boring. It feels like a succession of endless boring magic fights. I can't wait for it to be over so we can start watching another episode of Star Trek Strange New Worlds. It's the end sequence right now as I type this and I couldn't care less. Not even paying attention anymore.
One of Us Is Lying (2021)
Could have been an email...
Too long, and I lost interest.. at some point you realize nothing is changing, it's just dragging.. so boring, I quit. The acting is not bad, neither is direction, production or cinematography. The writing is the issue here.. predictable, boring, dragging, and in my late 30's I couldn't care less about teenagers and their highschool secrets.
DOC - Nelle tue mani (2020)
Great, great show
If this is not at least an 8, I don't know what is. Great writing, acting and directing. Just found out about it on Amazon and I can't stop watching. After House M. D, this is my favorite medical tv show.
Invasion (2021)
A waste of time and patience
Makes one wonder for how long the really talented people from Hollywood will endure without saying something. This show is absolute nonsense. At first I felt it was bad editing, but then one has to think that there's only so much an editor can do with, well, nothing..
Overall, the show is poorly written and acted melodrama, full of PC and all, but poorly done. If the rest of the story compensated for it, fine, let there be PC, but the rest is just not there. Overall, it is awful, and I've felt it was a waste of my time. It shouldn't be called Invasion at all...
Foundation: Upon Awakening (2021)
What a boring episode
This episode 6 was really boring.. it made me think the show is dragging already. I've felt no tension in either plots shown. Basically nothing much new happened.
Sweetbitter (2018)
Flashes of genius, but doesn't go anywhere
First lines got me hooked. Very, very smart writing, and these genius lines do show up every once in a while. First 3 episodes were nice, but then it just doesn't go anywhere. Right now I'm watching episode 4 from season 2 and I have the feeling nothing happened.
SAS: Red Notice (2021)
Made for TV B-movie
15 minutes in and you can tell the director is a TV guy (checked it and bingo on that). Cliches all around, etc, but you can tell the director and editor were worst. The script could be polished but it wasn't the worst of it. Art direction was good, it shows. Music also was good, but applied on the wrong moments. Director needs to bring his game up a bit if he's gonna continue making movies for streaming platforms. Btw, these movies feel like the story is either rushed or shallow.. this one was rushed. The scenes had no impact. Bat acting all around also.
For All Mankind (2019)
Great writing / very entertaining
The writing is great, funny, dramatic and it's very watchable tv. Sure there's social justice themes, especially the focus on women, apart from the sci-fi and the forrest gump like way of revisiting the world, but it's so well written that the whole historic revisionism thing actually becomes fun, especially because things happen not 'just because of feelings' etc, but merit. Molly Cobb for instance, great character. Margo also a great character. Competent people all around the show, male and female, each characters with both flaws and competencies. Plus, the writers raised the bar at every episode of season 1, really pushing the story forward, and so far also on season 2 as well (just finished ep5). This show is so great, with lots more potential, I really hope the second half of s2 and s3 doesn't fall trap to whatever has been going lately on tv. I mean, if they are going to do more 'politics', then that it be done like in season 1 and s2, well written, well done, taking also the necessary merit of things into account, balancing the writing style. The gratuitous social justice arcs 'just because' that many tv shows add are so below what I've seen written and directed on For All Mankind that it would be a shame if they spoiled the quality.
Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)
Below mediocre.. just north of amateur
Considering it's Taylor Sheridan, I'm guessing there were substantial creative differences and interference from others. Studio, celebrity cast, I don't know. People who can write stuff like Sicario and Hell or Highwater can't be THIS bad while being producer, writer and director of a movie. This movie is incredibly messy, boring, awful in every aspect. It's a solid 2-4 out of 10.
Utopia (2020)
Can't wait for the original.. too bad they cancelled this one
From the reviews, it seems the original is even better. Can't wait, then, because this Utopia was great! Music, camera work, pace, acting, dialogue.. I actually found the last episode to be the worst.. a kinda boring last half that ep. 8. I don't get how people didn't like this.. things like bridgerton and naked reality shows get better chances than this show..?? Maybe Mr Rabit was right, huh..
From Paris with Love (2010)
Very entertaining
I remember it being a refreshing roller coaster type experience. It perfectly delivers what it promises, and more.
The Fanatic (2019)
Go watch The Fan 1996 - De Niro, Snipes
Knife seller and baseball player. This movie never left my mind for some reason. Same topic as The Fanatic, but butter.
Young Wallander (2020)
Starts off well, then drags on forever
First episode was great, then at around episode 3 you notice long slow and unnecessary drama sequences.. just fast forward.. a very well done show.
The Last Days of American Crime (2020)
A waste of time.. and lot of it
The movie is total nonsense.. at 2h30 (give or take), it's an offense to allow someone to write this script.. how does crap like this gets made? Well.. at least the girl is cute
October Faction (2020)
Waste of time
Poorly written, no pace, the story gets lost, the synopsis' promise is not kept.. the show is an absolute waste of time.
Another Life (2019)
Written by slow writers for slow viewers
A total waste of time. Hate to see imature people getting sent to space to save the world. Ridiculous tv show. Just ridiculous.
Carcereiros: O Filme (2019)
A waste of time
Starring another carefully-constructed-audience-grabbing-celebrity-turned-actor-from-a-ridiculous brazilian-reality-tv-show-designed-to-push-political-agenda-to-the-hearts-and-minds-of-the-people, comes to the screen, directly from favela land, another apology to crime, showcasing the 'honor' of the prison culture.. will be appreciated mostly by low lifes and the 'intelectual elite'. Buy a book instead.

Extremo Sul (2005)
tagline: you can't fail if you don't try
The whole focus of the movie is the "will of achievement turned to failure" aspect of the expedition. But, at least I believe, that in order to fail you must first TRY do to something. They don't climb a single vertical feet! All they do is talk blah-blah and no climb, the movie turns into a base camp reality show.
The climbers are not charismatic at all. They should have turned this into a documentary on "what to do if your documentary goes wrong" At least that could be worth something to film school.
The grand moment of the show is the amateur video footage that an Australian climber made when he summits Mount Sarmiento in 1995 with just two other guys. And the south American climbers, who had support climbers, sat-phones, film crew, helicopter in case of emergency, sat and talked about.. about what? Not sure, but they sure talked.
At least the movie was well shot, by a dude named Silvestre. You can see he is the only one who knows what he is doing.
Forget this and go watch Touching the Void again.
