Unforgotten: Episode #5.6 (2023)
Waste of time!!!
I can't believe I watched all six episodes of that PC garbage. The ending was one of the worst I've ever seen. Most of it was drawn out just to reveal a so called twist which made zero sense.
The characters were unlikeable from the start and they threw in back stories that had nothing to do with the plot.
The guy who took photographs of women really had no purpose being in the series because it was boring and you forgot about him most of the time.
The Nan was a blubbering psychopath who just cried for six episodes about herself and her life. She was a mess and blamed everyone else for her problems while she beat up her husband. Then they throw in her catering deal subplot which was boring and without a purpose.
I won't be watching this show anymore seeing that they added a left wing plot that was boring, comical at times, and ended it leaving viewers angry. I want my 6 hours back for this trashy political garbage of a show.
The Ex-Wife (2022)
Huh?
The first episode was good then it went downhill. The mother was frumpy and looked psychotic from day 1. The husband was irritating to look at and his finger nails were distracting. I liked the ex wife and sister but the rest of the cast not so much. It was promising then after the first two episodes it seemed like they just rushed to end it faster by throwing it scenes that made no sense and were far from believable. I still don't understand the ex wife's stance on the situation or the husband's real motive in it all. Then the ending comes and the new wife does some sort of Matrix/Xmen powers move to somehow take the child, put her in a bag, and walk off with nobody seeing her? Come on already. Then she moves to Budapest to hide? Lol!!!! Scary thing is his finger moved at the end which means they left it open for a second season. Please no. Don't waste our time.
The Adam Project (2022)
Not bad.
Not a bad time travel movie. A lot of tear jerkers. I just found it a bit far fetched for 2050. I mean maybe 2150. The kid in this was a smart butt and annoying. Very unrealistic. I enjoyed the movie though. The acting was good and the special effects. Emotional moments. Also really corny not funny banters that made it more of a comedy at some parts. I would recommend and suggest you give it a try. I rated it 6. I suggest you rate it as well because it was worth my time and i recommended it to my coworker as well. He said he is going to watch it too. Looking forward to hearing all reviews. Great website.
Seekers (1993)
Promising but baby sitter bizarre
It started of a bit unbelievable from the start. This series was more comedic than your typical UK mystery/cop drama. The actors were very good but the episodes were a bit strange even for the 90s. I can see why it only lasted two episodes. The mother just pawned her kid off on the older roommate the entire time not to mention how rude she was to the secretary. I gave it 4 because it was cool to see the 90s again and the actors were great but expect to be thinking huh? If you like the British keeping up appearances era type two episode mini series give it a try! Not bad for a Sunday night short binge.
Deadline (2022)
Huh?
Started out pretty good. Some suspenseful parts but pretty much unbelievable. The last episode really ruined it for me. It made no sense at all. We are left thinking what? What just happened?
I don't get it. What happened to Oliver? None of it made sense in the end and was left thinking either I'm dumb or they made up a quick ending just to finish it quickly. Please don't make a second season. Nobody will watch it.
The acting wasn't bad. The writing sure was. I was left thinking did I fall asleep and miss a main part? I know I did almost fall asleep a couple times during the long boring interview sessions. Give it a try if you want but you will be left upset at the end like the rest of us.
Annika (2021)
Bizarre series
The most unprofessional bizarre investigation team on tv. Annika talks to herself and is annoying. Her team consists of unlikeable characters who don't dress or act like police. The cases make no sense. The daughter is miserable and this series is full of PC junk. I can't believe this made it past season 1. It's depressing. The episodes move nowhere and are so predictable. Nicola Walker is okay and it's a shame she has to be in such a bomb of a production. When she talks to the camera like a crazy person babbling without sense I tend to change the channel. If you enjoy being confused and PC garbage be sure to watch.
Marple: Sleeping Murder (2006)
Awful
I prefer Joan Hickson over these new ones. There was no suspense at all in this story and so far off from the book too. I wish they would stop doing remakes when the originals cam never be better. Instant fail.
The Lady Vanishes (2013)
Good scenery and acting
Loved it but it did get stale towards the end anc obvious mystery anyone could figure out well before the lame ending. I gave it 6 because they did a great job on clothes and the scenery. The acting was pretty good.
Vera (2011)
Boring
This show hasn't changed much in a decade. You don't know much about the characters lives at all. It's the exact same episodes year after year. Nothing changes. Ever! Scenes are the same from start to finish. I don't know why people rate this so high. I can see 7 years ago when you thought it would get better. It's predictable, boring, PC, and a real snoozer.
