Alone Australia (2023)
Don't see improvement coming
The location after four episodes is awful. They should have been put near the ocean. They seem to have been placed on a lake that has been formed from a dam. They are restricted in ways they can hunt. If there is a next season hopefully they put them in the middle of Australia in a dry area. Give us a different set of survival skills from the other Alone series. Even get a couple of good contestants from the other Alone series to see how they survive in a arid location. The contestants on the first season of Alone Australia are not very likeable. Very little in the way of useful survival skills after four episodes. The editors so far have put too much talking and not enough survival.
Cowboy Bebop (2021)
Not worth it
It is made on the cheap. The biggest problem is dialog. The action scenes are the best part of the show. Currently 3 episodes in and it has not improved.
Jiok: Episode #1.6 (2021)
Good story
Good ending to season 1. I was wondering how they were going to keep interest for season 2. They open up to many possibilities with the last minute. Hopefully I don't have to read all the dialogue next time.
The Green Knight (2021)
Well made for budget but story line is awful
It is a low budget movie with the scenes well shot. It all comes down to the story. I would like to see the director make a movie with a decent story. Something about how the scenes are made makes me want to like the movie but I just can't.
Age of the Living Dead (2018)
Story line needs work
They try to explain the current situation in the world. There explanations were terrible. There was no need to give these explanations.
Utopia (2020)
Weird characters with a good story
If you do a summary of the plot for the last two episodes then it could reflect the current world with a race towards a vaccine. It is almost funny the warning they give before the start of each episode.
Dracula (2020)
First two parts are good. Last is awful
If you really want to watch then just watch the first two episodes and pretend that is where it ended. It is not worth watching the last episode. It is like it is written and directed by different people.
Dracula: The Dark Compass (2020)
Terrible ending
It should have just ended after the second episode. Taking the show in current time just ruined it for me.
Lost in Space: Impact (2018)
Awful writing
Conversation between characters is awful. General story line is alright.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 8: Redemption (2019)
Little things let it down
Who writes this? Why so much fighting while no one takes cover?
The Mandalorian: Chapter 7: The Reckoning (2019)
Lazy writing
The plans are just terrible. Why go to all the trouble with excellent graphics to be let down by the story.
The Mandalorian (2019)
Star wars feel but too many silly script parts
Things happen to his ship. No auto pilot to keep it in orbit until he needs it?
Lands ship far away from target. Why?
Tracking devices used for people but somehow he seems to forget this?
Talks about the element of surprise but when it could be used in episode 4 decides not to use it to take out walker.
Doom Patrol (2019)
Good weird series
Enjoyed the series. There are some terrible episodes. Those episodes drag down the whole series without adding much to the story.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Writing is simply awful
The Golden company who are seasoned fighters put little in the way of defenses for the city. Defend behind the walls if you know opposite side has a large amount of horses.
Most Scorpions don't even fire at the dragon. One dragon died with 3 out of 3 arrows hitting it from a huge range. The previous episode should have had all ships firing at the dragon with many missing.
Arya travels all the way to Kings Landing only to have a small conversation with the Hound and she changes her mind about killing queen. Couldn't they have had the conversation on the trip?
Arya couldn't ride faster than an army who is mainly on foot? She should have been there days before the army arrives and had her chance of killing the queen.
Jamie, Arya and Hound look like they are going to enter the city at night. The next scene jumps to the morning and the start of the battle with them making no progress into city.
Rob Stark made large amounts of battle plans. This episode has a plan of just wait for the sign and attack.
Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
It is like they had books to follow for the first 7 seasons then had to make up S8.
So somehow we are meant to believe the ships where too far to be spotted by the dragons, that the weapons on the ships are very accurate at that range, that the ships moving through water don't interfere with the accuracy of those weapons. It should have been a big naval battle and the dragon dies in the naval battle. The dragons in the air should help prevent enemy ships from sneaking up on the fleet.
Star Trek: Discovery: Brother (2019)
Terrible
They really need to get rid of certain characters.
Outlaw King (2018)
Netflix needs to use its abilities more
There is no reason why Netflix can't do a short version and a long version. Add more of the story in the long version which should be rather cheap to add. You do not need the expensive battle scenes in an extended edition.
Movie was more like a 7-8 rating but one scene just annoyed me too much. Knights, Lords and Kings are highly sort after on the battlefield. They are very often ransomed. Letting the opposing king go would not be allowed.
The Outpost: The Mistress and the Worm (2018)
Wow... Terrible
Script needs some serious work.
There are so many good fantasy books out there and they make shows like this. It does not make any sense.
The Outpost: One Is the Loneliest Number (2018)
Hire some decent writers
Wow it is terrible. The general idea behind the story is alright but the script and acting is terrible.
Salvation (2017)
Alright...
If they cut out the entire character Jillian it would improve at least 1-2 stars.
Counterpart: No Man's Land - Part One (2018)
Awful episode
Just highlighting too many issues with the series.
If you know who comes into your world then it would make sense to ban anyone who works in processing area. How you can get multiple people on the inside is just wrong. Just bugs me too much to enjoy the episode.
Godless: Homecoming (2017)
Awful finale episode
A good series. The final episode just lets down the entire series. You get what has to happen but so much of it makes no sense on why certain characters do things or why they are in certain locations. .
