9-1-1: Ghost of a Second Chance (2024)
After watching this mess of an episode i wished that we never have gotten a Season 7, because this is not the 911 i fell in love with
This season has been rough. Every storyline has been all over the place. And yes I said every. The cruise ship, the Bi-awakening, Mara, the wedding and now this mess.
Eddie was always my comfort character, the one i tune in for, because i really like him and his son. But of course the showrunner had to take this away from me. I admit i skip every scene between Eddie and Marisol, because that actress is the worst, so watching this season has already been hell. But now they are doing this cheating storyline with his lookalike dead wife. Yeah forget it Tim and ABC. You can keep it. We could have had Eddie's beautiful coming out storyline, like it was hinted in interviews, but instead we get this? Are you stupid?
Maybe Tim Minear really is overrated and we did Kristen Reidel soooo wrong.
Anyways i have watched my last episode this season since i don't have it in me to continue watching Eddie's character getting sacrificed.
I was so looking forward to Season 7, but the reality is that this Season officially killed the show.
9-1-1: Abandon Ships (2024)
Please get rid of serial killer Marisol
At least that's the vibe i get from this character, because all she ever does is giggling in combination with that total crazy smile. What a horror show, even for only two seconds. That actress scares me, because she doesn't get any lines (because she obviously is to bad to deliver them) but yet again she is still there? Why? Somebody please call 911 and save Eddie from this nut job. A shame that this transphobic and untalented actress is still allowed to wor on that LGBTQ friendly show.
Now to more positive thing: Tim Minear is back in control and the quality of this show is immediately better. All characters were able to shine, the emergencies were fast and interesting without taking up an entire episode. Lots of Eddie Diaz is always a good thing, Chris a womanizer? I don't know if i like this to be honest, but we got some interesting scenes from it. Buck and Eddie always are great to watch together. Finally they were allowed to interact again. Just make them a couple already, Tim. That's what everyone wants.
May and Ravi were cleary missed, but i hope we are going to see them soon as well.
Oh yes and Natalia is gone as well. Hurray....she won't be missed at all.
9-1-1: Pay It Forward (2023)
Awful Finale
Sure there were some aspects of the show that were unrealistic and rushed but overall disappointing large scale emergency. Awful finish and ending for our characters. The toxic fandom needs to stop bc because they would rather take any women forced down our throats than to accept a beautiful written lovestory between two male characters . Let it go already and stop trying to hype up random women with not even a single ounce of personality bc you don't like two men falling in love.
Disliked the Hen/Karen possible extension to there family, bc no real build up to this, Chim/Maddie wedding planning, Buck hopefully will wake up and break up with random woman number 1233344 because thrown at him. They just don't vibe together and are lacking EVERYTHING, huge fan of the actor who portrays Eddie i do hope he gets more screentime next season, but I do loathe the energy of Marisol bc let's be real there is no energy and the actress is terrible at her job and I think she would be awful for him , bc wasn't she in love with her brother, loved seeing Ravi hope to see more of him in the future.
9-1-1: Death and Taxes (2023)
Buck's storylines continues to ruin this show.
I loathed this episode and what they have done to Bucks character. Suddenly a hot girl appears and says "oh wow you died, so freaking cool!" and Buck sees it as something great? Romantic even? It's ridiculous, I feel offended both as a viewer and a fan of 118 almost family-like relationship, that always brought me so much comfort. What's even more ridiculous is that Buck said this Doula Death sees him. I'm sorry what? Did the lightning completely grilled his last remaining brain cells? I can't even begin to see why Buck would see that in Natalia based on their date it's baffling to me. But lately the writing doesn't even make sense and the real question is whether this whole situation is just bad writing of Buck's character or something that's going to come back and blow up in his face. I'm honestly not sure if the writers know what they're doing right now.
If the show gets a Season 7 i think we really need some new writers and definitely a new showrunner.
9-1-1: Home Invasion (2022)
Nadia Abass Madden is still writing episodes for 911?
No wonder this episode fell completely flat. This writer just didn't get the shows characters and i believe she never will. I can only repeat myself here, as long as Kristen Reidel is in charge, the show is doomed. Since Season 4 when they made her the co showrunner, showrunner or whatever she is called these days, she successfully is destroying this great show. Instead of edge of the seat entertainment she delivers plothole after plothole, cringe emergencies, terrible storylines that make no sense and holding onto annoying and not wanted characters like Lucy who and but never once mentions Ravi in Season 6. Not to mention that she loves to tell important stories off screen. I don't regret that i no longer watch this show. Watching Kristen Reidel destroying what so many of us loved won't happen in my household.
9-1-1: Starting Over (2022)
No Chimney, we don't like LUCY.
So i finally had to force myself to watch the season finale and as expected it was a let down just like the entire Season 5. The only good thing this season was Eddie's arc, but the rest was simple forgettable. I think as long as Kristen Reidel calls the shots all hope for a good Season 6 is gone. What has this woman against Eddie? He barely was part of the finale and i'm still annoyed that there wasn't even a conversation about what eddie wanted to do with his future. Another offscreen moment, like so many this season. The episode was called STARTING OVER. Maybe Kristen Reidel should do this as well and move on to another show or project. I absolutely hated the 118 scene in the firetruck. What was that? I also won't ever accept Lucy as part of the 118. It was a good thing that almost every scene of her did get cut, but the ones with her were awful to watch. I just don't know why we needed this person again? She ruins the special dynamic of the team and i hate every moment with her. So that was it for me, as long as Kristen Reidel works for the show i won't come back for Season 6. It's not worth it.
And oh before i forget, yay Taylor Kelly is finally gone. We could have had this 7 episodes ago.
9-1-1: Hero Complex (2022)
They have lost control of the flow of the show.
I read these words online and i have to totally agree with it. It's a shame that Kristen Reidel who is mostly responsible for this show now still hasn't get it managed to produce good television. Everything this season was all over the place.
Hero Complex in my eyes jumped the shark with the Jonah, Hen and Chimney scenes. I was like is this really 911 or did i just watch the Criminal Minds amateur hour? Don't get me wrong, i always enjoy Hen and Chimney's dynamic and it was great that for once it wasn't Buck who solved the case, but ugh try at least to make it a little more believable.
Speaking of Buck, did his entire relationship drama plot nobody wanted to see get cut? I mean if so let me thank the person responsible for that, because that was something i REALLY REALLY didn't want to watch at all. I'm more than over over Taylor. When will she finally leave? And i sure as hell am below zero interested in anything that has to do with Lucy. Please someone in charge of this show make her leave the 118 as well. The actress is absolutely not believable as a firefighter.
If Kristen Reidel's big story plot for the second half of Season 5 was indeed the Buck, Lucy and Taylor love triangle then i have no idea what to think about this show anymore. Someone really needs to take the control out of her hands. She just isn't fit as a showrunner and is ruining everything that made this show special.
Theo nly good thing about this season was Eddie Diaz and his story. I missed Chris in this episode, but now i really need Eddie back as a firefighter. Without Eddie the 118 isn't the same.
9-1-1: May Day (2022)
Firefighter Eddie Diaz is back and Lucy hopefully on her way out of this show. There's an empty spot to fill at the 133.
After watching this episode i think Lucy's time at the 118 should end. There's a place for her in another firehouse where she can feel special and whatever else she wants. She just doesn't fit in this show. It doesn't help that almost all of her scenes had been cut or edited, but i'm so glad they did this, because i simply don't want to see her at all. Her character is annoying and the worst character this show has ever created and no i just don't want her anywhere near the 118 in Season 6. We have suffered enough. Please make her go. Maybe she can take Albert's spot at the 133. Just a suggestion. And please let the finale be the last time we have to see Taylor. This entire Buck, Taylor, Lucy arc tanked so spectacular. Whoever thought that this is what the viewers wanted to watch should get fired.
The rest of the episode however was nice. You have no idea what the character of Eddie Diaz means to me. He definitely owned this episode and i cannot wait for him to return to his family, the 118.
9-1-1: Dumb Luck (2022)
I really don't like the Lucy 118. Please make her go away for good.
With each passing episode the show gets worse. Not even the wonderful Eddie and Chris scenes could save the episode for me. I don't get why they force this terrible an unlikeable character of Lucy down our throats. We had Ravi in this episode as well, but at somepoint he just vanished. Sad. I don't know how others feel, but i am no longerin the mood to continue watching this nonsense.
9-1-1: Fear-o-Phobia (2022)
This is no longer the show i love
I absolutely hate Buck's arc and i fear it hasn't even really begun. I have zero interest in watching more of this nonsense. The only reason i still tune in is Eddie Diaz. Ryan really did a great job in this episode, why was he only on my tv for like a minute? I cannot give more than one star, because Taylor and Lucy are so annoying characters. I don't want to see them. Buck reminds me of a dumb teenager and i just cannot with the writing of this show any longer. It is a nightmare. Every important character moment happened offscreen. I'm no longer willing to accept this.
9-1-1: Outside Looking In (2022)
And the DISASTER continues some PLEASE SAVE the shows writing
What did i just watch? Not gonna lie, i really thought that after the complete mess that was the first half of this season the people responsible for this show would sit down together and figure out how to improve the show again and change what made it so terrible during the first half. But i guess i had too much faith. The first thing i got to watch is the focus on Buck kissing and making out with an total irrelevant character i do not give a damn of. Of course she is tough as hell and can do basically everything. No thanks, i'm not here for this, her or whatever they want me to care about that character. She can go back to wherever that character came from. I can't stand Taylor Kelly, but that was a pretty low move from Buck. And Hen being on Buck's side. Good grief. What a terrible message. So that being said, after watching that cringing new characters i had to endure yet another painful moment between Buck and his girlfriend and i was like GO PLEASE just go and never come back. Luckily not everything is horrible on this show. We still have the Diaz boys. These two are the only reason i still watch this show, because they are heartwarming. And watching Eddie suffering without anyone really knowing is the kind of storytelling i was waiting for for ages. At least i seem to get this. So the premiere was mostly meh for me except for the Diaz part. Lucy, that other guy and the reporter need to disappear again as soon as possible. We haven't had a 118 death so far. Can we have that with Lucy please? And before i forget this, what about Ravi? Where was he? Can we please get a little more of him for a change? He is such a nice guy.
9-1-1: Wrapped in Red (2021)
Everything this season is just so disappointing and unsatisfying
I came back for the winter finale but i really don't know what to think about the episode itself. It has amazing Eddie and Christopher scenes, but the rest of the episode didn't make me feel like tuning in again this March. That's my current mood, which may still change, but the writing really went from wow to oh my god how terrible was that. Before Season 5 i was so excited about a lot of things. Right now i kinda feel empty and sad about the writing and storytelling of the show.
I really was looking forward to how the show would handle the Maddie and Chimney story. Then i got nothing, even worse Chimney left as well.
I was really looking forward to how the show would handle Eddie's story from surviving the shooting and following his heart and i got almost nothing. At least he said goodbye to Ana.
I was really looking forward to how the show would handle Buck storyline this season, but instead of being there for his Diaz boys he was chasing for the perfect christmas gift? That was insulting to his character and i realized that whenever Nadia Abass is writing an episodes, the characters become somehow unrecognizable.
I was really looking forward to how the show would handle Buck and Eddie addressing the shooting and the will, but i got nothing. I wasn't looking forward to see more of Taylor Kelly at all instead she is everywhere and literally sucking the life out of the show for whatever reasons.
Overall a pretty disappointing winter finale and first half of the season. The cliffhanger with Eddie leaving the 118, yeah i know the actor isn't leaving the show, made me furious like that's all they could come up with? I admit there are certain opportunities that come with it, but i learnt my lesson after the season 4 finale, so i'm not looking forward to the second part of this season.
9-1-1: Peer Pressure (2021)
The character of Taylor Kelly sucks the life out of the show.
I always end up totally not enjoying the episode if she is in it. In other words that character totally ruins the show for me. And yesterday i reached my breaking point. I'm not going to watch the next episode knowing that character is back again.
9-1-1: Home and Away (2021)
Sad and highly emotional episode with amazing acting. That's how i love my 911.
I didn't even mind that it was totally clear from the very beginning that that one cheerleader wasn't their daughter. And as a bonus we got a Buck and Eddie balcony scene. I didn't expect that. So it doesn't always has to be the kitchen.
9-1-1: Desperate Measures (2021)
Still trying to figure out why they made this huge deal about the blackout and then the power just came back. Huh?
And i'm so glad that the rapist story is over now. I want the focus back on my firefighters.
One extra star for Eddie ending thing with Ana. Finally. I won't miss her.
9-1-1: Desperate Times (2021)
Just smile Buck. Exciting episode
We got the Buckley-Diaz family. They own my whole heart and i'm more than ready for them to make it official.
So glad Lou is alive. I really like the guy.
I loved the zoo animals part and Buck's rambling.
Oh Maddie.
And oh my it could not get more awkward than when we have Ana around. Only one more episode please.
Wasn't so sure about Ravi, but the way the show uses this character i really don't mind.
I cannot wait for next weeks episode.
9-1-1: Panic (2021)
Solid episode
I liked it and i'm so intrigued and excited about Eddie's storyline for this season. It's about time he gets some more spotlight not to mention that he is my favorite character. I could live without the annoying girlfriends however, but i'm sure we are getting there. I just hope by mid season we are done with both of them. Anyways i never understood why the cops on this show always seem to work alone instead of in teams but Angela rocks in this role so i made my peace with it a long time ago. Now i cannot wait for more of the zoo animals and how Buck tries to get through to Eddie. Bring it on!!!
9-1-1: Survivors (2021)
The Buckley-Diaz family is officially C A N O N ! ! !
My whole heart belongs to them. Therefore i loved it so much that Eddie made Buck Christopher's legal guardian if something happened to him. That was the unexpected thing the cast talked about before right, because all the other things i saw coming from miles away. That's why i felt a bit underwhelmed with this episode. It was a good one, but i wanted somehow more after that amazing cliffhanger from last week. I will stay with the show for now, because of the Buckley Diaz family, but this season really was my least favorite one. And the way they still hold on to these, by most of the fandom unwanted, love interests still upsets, angers and disappoints me.
9-1-1: Suspicion (2021)
Felt entertained with this episode
I always wondered what had happened to Hen's becoming a doctor storyline. And just when i thought they have forgotten about it, they brought it back. Then the moment Eddie got shot, well we knew that this was going to happen, but it really did hit soooo hard. These last two minutes were so well acted and directed. I'm still thinking about this scene. Now all we need is for Eddie to be okay (but i am hopeful).
9-1-1: Treasure Hunt (2021)
Really enjoyed the Buck and Eddie moments in this episode. What took you so long to bring this back to us?
911 is so much more exciting if they give us Buck and Eddie scenes.
9-1-1: First Responders (2021)
Aaaaand another episode without the heart and soul of this show: the Buckley/Diaz family. How lame are you serious with this?
So this show made me fell in love with the Eddie, Buck and Christopher family only to cancel them in Season 4. I don't want Ana-one-line-Flores or Taylor-i-can-toss-my-red-hair-Kelly. These characters doesn't interest me at all. Is this now the show of the recurring cast or what?
9-1-1: Parenthood (2021)
I miss the Buckley/Diaz family.
I don't want to watch Eddie and Chris with this awful character.
Anyways except for the first 10 minutes (which were fun) this episode was simply boring. Sigh.
9-1-1: Breaking Point (2021)
Huge 911 fan but Season 4 becomes more and more of a disappointment
...and now they're even trying to force the heart and soul of this show, which is the Eddie and Buck relationship apart by putting them together with other people?
No thanks, i don't want that. Give us our Buckley/Diaz family back!
So i am really not looking forward the the second part of this season.
Person of Interest: Prisoner's Dilemma (2013)
Still the best episode of Person of Interest
Easily one of the best episodes of the entire show.
Even after watching this episode for like the 20th time it doesn't get boring (or old). The writing is excellent, the acting top.
Taraji P. Henson and Jim Caviezel once again show the audience that they ARE Person of Interest. You just need to put them together into an interrogation room and watch what they make of if. This time the fan was awarded with THE performance of the season.
Taraji P. Henson and Jim Caviezel have the rare talent to simply act with their eyes. It's amazing to watch. But then you give them a script and people are blown away by their performance. If only they would have given us more episodes like this one here.
Reese walking out of prison while "Eminence Front" was playing, i don't know who's idea that was, but it was perfect! Great cinematography!
Person of Interest: QSO (2016)
Costumes of Interest
Another episode that sadly fell flat to me. I can't help myself but somehow (in Season 5) they are trying real hard to destroy everything what made this show so great over the first couple of seasons.
Like for example this "Costumes of Interest" crap. Who came up with this glorious idea anyways? It's not even funny. I wished they had used their already reduced budget for better writing instead of putting Root in all these different costumes . Oh yes i get it that is because of her "fast" changing identities. Give me a break Person of Interest isn't a cosplay.
Anyways so Root was working a number? Yeah that could not end well. The downright ridiculous part of the episode was
a) John seriously trying to hide the identity of Riley AGAIN? Really Person of Interest? Why didn't he do so in the Season 4 finale? I guess that will remain forever as a mystery!
b) Root's message to Shaw, of course like the super woman that she is, she immediately got the message and figured it out. Not at all realistic for a woman who had been tortured for month (!). I really do wonder how the rest of the team even could survive so long without THAT superwoman.
Well maybe it's time for me to accept the fact that Person of Interest had become "totally bananas"!
Season 5 so far has been nothing but a hot mess!!!
