The Pacifier (2005)
Not bad.
My dad bought the DVD for me, and after seeing Herbie: Fully Loaded I was about to tell him to return it. I would have regretted that if I did though. This movie is great.
It made me laugh so much. With Vin Diesel being in it, there has to be action. The action was a Jackie Chan moment. Funny professional combat between Vin Diesel(Shane) and two disguised characters. The movie had action and comedy, I loved it.
I can't really think of any problem with the movie, maybe there were no bad moments.
If you love kids being funny in movies you'd love this. 8 out of 10, because it's funny.
Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005)
Bad.
A failure. The movie was just not good. It has humor that 5 year olds that will not even giggle at. I mean, sure, some parts were amusing, but most of it is not. Lindsey Lohan is a great actress (and a bad singer,) and she should be working on better movies. The movie should have been aired as a Disney Channel original movie, that is FREE.
The only thing that was well done about this movie was the music. Nothing like a remade rock soundtrack to brighten up your day. These songs are so good. Especially Alyson and Amanda's Walking On Sunshine and Caleigh Peter's, Beach Boy song, Fun Fun Fun.
4 out of 10. If I gave it a ten, 9 of that would be the music and 1 will be the movie. Not worth your money, but the soundtrack is.
A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004)
Great Movie
Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events is such a unique movie (and the books are too.) The cast was just SPLENDID. Everyone fit the right spot. Especially Jim Carrey, I wouldn't replace Count Olaf with ANYONE else, he plays such a good villain. Of course I did have a problem with Klaus, played by Liam Aiken (Good Boy,) he didn't have glasses when he was supposed to. Violet, played by Emily Browning (Darkness Falls, Ghost Ship,) was perfect. Everything was right when Emily plays Violet.
The story has a dark feeling to it. When you're watching it, it has this Gothic, gloomy feeling. Good movies have that. I mean, not a Gothic, gloomy feeling, but it sets the perfect mood. A movie that doesn't set that isn't a good movie at all. =) Oh, and make sure you stick around for the credits. The art is done very well and it's the best credits I have every seen.
9 out of 10 because it should be longer, it isn't short, it's just not long enough, and because they might re-cast Klaus and Sunny, played be the Hoffman twins.
9 out of 10 because it's too short.
Digimon: Digital Monsters (1999)
Better than -- you know what.
When I saw the commercial, before it aired in America, my cousins behind me, were saying 'Ah, another Pokemon.' This of course, was false. Pokemon is NOT realistic, Digimon is. The whole point of Pokemon is 'gotta catch 'em all!'.. and then what? Throw them away? kill them? give them to 'Team Rocket?' Digimon, the first season, 8 kids (digidestined) are chosen and are transported to the Digital World during summer camp, uninformed. They're assigned Digimon, not Pokemon. The difference: there's one for each kid, not 40,339.
The only thing people cannot relate to to the show is 'going to the digital world' or having their own 'digimon,' everything else can be related to. The characters are unique. Tai, the leader cares about his sister and would risk his life for her. Sora, the female leader, has issues with her mom. Izzy, boy-genius, wasn't raised with his real parents, and he did not know that. (SPOILER)He was adopted by his aunt and uncle because his parents died in a car accident.(END SPOILER) So on..
Later in season 1, and continuing to season 2, they each have 'crests.' Each of them are specifically chosen for the digidestined that NEEDS to activate it. The crests: Courage, Love, Friendship, Hope, Light, Sincerity, Reliablity, Knowledge. Being the rebel and the loner, Matt, is assigned the crest of friendship. Once he actually uses 'friendship,' his digimon digivolves and helps them to whatever is causing trouble. Of course this is an example, there are seven more.
Digimon teaches lessons, and it helps. 10 out of 10. 8 out of 10 for graphics and animation.
For whomever says Digimon copied 'Pokemon' you're wrong, which might not be even true, Digimon was created before Pokemon. Pokemon was just aired in America before Digimon.
Now You See It... (2005)
Awesome Disney Movie
I like it, and every time I watch it, it always has it's 'charm.' I love watching it again and again, some movies on Disney gets annoying when played over and over again, but this movie isn't one of them. Every time I watch it, it always has the same suspense. I always panic when I know the male character (Pacar) is about to die or something even though I know he isn't. The acting is great too. Pacar and Michalka acts well when they're doing a serious scene. They're facial expression to the way they talk, it's all good. Great to watch, and watch again. For those of you who hasn't seen it and thinks it's JUST a 'Disney movie,' you're wrong =P Watch it.
I give it an eight out of ten. The story is good, but isn't realistic. The acting is good.

The Even Stevens Movie (2003)
Good Movie, but no repeats
It's a good movie, has the 'Even Stevens' humor to it. The only problem is, it's not like a lot of the other 'good' Disney Movies, you wouldn't want to watch 'The Even Stevens Movie' OVER and OVER again. Don't know why. Doesn't have the 'repeat spark.' A lot of the wannabe-humor is very IMMATURE and a lot of 4 year olds won't even laugh at, imagine the older people watching. It's a good movie to watch..but just ONCE! You will get tired of it EASILY and if you see it on again, you would get annoyed, and change the channel.
A seven out of ten people. Watch the movie, but don't watch it again.
