The OA (2016)
No wonder it got cancelled
I stopped at episode 6 not sure I can force myself to finish season 1 even though I hate not finishing what I started but this is just too boring for me.
I gave it 3 stars cause the show started well but then went down hill. I seriously don't know what's so great about it, the pace is slow the acting is monotonous and sometimes plain bad and uncomfortable to watch
Knives Out (2019)
very disappointing
The movie stated well but then went downhill. I kept waiting to be surprised but nothing happen, the while thing was somehow predictable and lazy and Daniel Craig 's accent is HORRIBLE, I thought of turning the movie off several times because of it. Even the leading actress she's too soap opera, and Chris Evans is wasted.
Joker (2019)
a real masterpiece
This movie hits hard, it'll shock you to the core and open your eyes to the horrible and cruel world we live in, nothing in this movie not even the interview scene felt over the top, fiction or comic-book-like, it can happen anytime and to anyone, the movie shows us that the joker could be anyone of us who after a life of struggling and abuse logically slips into madness.
Joaquin is a true genius and they better give him an Oscar, I mean if they can give it to the ridiculous super boring role of DiCaprio in the reverent they should give it to this sheer brilliance.
The Day After (1983)
cheap propaganda
I would've liked it much more had it mentioned that America is THE ONLY country to ever launch nuclear weapons at civilians but I guess that's not an important detail
Hattrick (2018)
I didn't want it to end
I usually don't like movies that have little actors and take place in few locations but this one was different? From the first scene I was hooked, the acting felt soo real to the point I felt as if I was among them, the development of events, the silence evrythitn was just perfect, I was kind of upset when the movie ended cause I wanted it to continue
Aquaman (2018)
it's just too much to handle
I am right now in the cinema watching the movie and am on my phone.
It actually started well but it got lamer and lamer and I just couldn't keep my attention.
It seems rhe movie makers have one goal: show how much CGI they can put in, it's somehow annoying, they'll start a fight out of nowhere and it's just too much.
Also the lack of creativity is apparent, for example the star wars like costumes, the evil dude outfit that looks like antman meet predator and the scene where they slide on dirt "cough cough prince of Persia"
But nothing is more annoying in the whole film like the explosions tgat take place every time characters are talking I mean I literally screamed "come on" at the screen.
Overall, the movie started well but just went downhill in my opinion, the acting is bad and the CGI get on your nerves after awhile, the only positive thing is that now am inspired to read more about Atlantis, sea creatures, and human bad affect on marine life.
Interstellar (2014)
my favorite sci-fi movie ever
I have never reviewed a movie before but after watching interstellar i found myself compelled to do so... I watched the movie with high expectations as a die hard Christopher Nolan fan and am glad to say that I wasn't disappointed at all I don't understand the people who hate it and call it dull and boring personally I was out of breath several times as for it science just because we haven't figured out how to do the things in the movie doesn't necessarily mean they're impossible and pure fiction this movie is a pure masterpiece the story, the acting, the score everything was simply perfect The best part is that thanks to interstellar am now officially a Matthew Mcconaughey fan
