This was so painfull i had to stop, this greasy hair depressive face actress over acting the whole time, with fake interaction from what the director thinks about farmers in France, every single second feels fake, dialogues are some of the most fake i ever seen, impossible to get in the story it is so badly sewed and pnce again sorry but i have to say it again, the main character is the worst actress in the whole industry, i seriously don't understand how it is possible to cast her.

People need to wake up and watch real movies with real actors, when i see the ratings on this film it is impossible if you have the minimum knowledge in cinema to enjoy something like this.

This film is a complete fail, from cast to story, from music to the message that story brings, nothing to keep from this piece of c****

A film can tell a lot from the cast, you can understand everything what's on the production or direction's mind, here everything got vlear when Rza appeared, and this very very bad actors like the guy « specialised » in art, nobody in the world is eating this story, neither the message that is completely childish.

There is not one part in the movie to keep, the way characters are developed is so poor, it looks like a student movie that ticks every case his teacher taught him on how to strcture a script. Total fail.

This ex miserable cop trying to live the life of the « gangster » he always wanted to be, trough film writing and « acting », it is simply scary jow he could find the founds to make a movie, such a waste.

Full of clichés, totally not the life of Menilmontant, very very very bad acting. Absolutely disgusting.

I watched it alone while my friend was sleeping, and i litteraly had tears coming down my face.

Lynch work has been highly focused on the atmosphere and ambiance he can create since Lost highway in my opinion, in which he tried to show that we don't need a rational story but what we need is to feel something, because this is what will stay engraved in our mind. He is creating a vibe, an atmosphere that nothing else can produce, like magic he is playing with your senses, your mind is in a very special mode and you will remember this feeling.

This episode is the perfect mastering of David Lynch work it looks so strange and incomprehensible but at the same time looks so organized, authentic and full of meanings. Something only Lynch can do, to me he reached perfection right here, a f****in masterpiece.

Maybe it is better not to read anything about this movie, and fully get slapped, same feeling as getting the meaning of « Lost highway » and « Mullholand drive » like a flash on a grey morning.

Vibe, ambiance, irony are the guideline, its this kind of unique movie, a vibe you never experienced before.

I think Dupieux reached his best with this one, in the spirit of his previous stuff, trying to lose the audience in the movie inside the movie inside the movie.. its at the same time completely insane, illogic and beautifully tied up, logic!! Amazing casting, amazing exprerience and totally a masterpiece

This is ridiculously bad, he tries to give his self a style when he doesnt have any, he is the definition of a wannabe.

The vulgar way of filming, the emptyness of the subject, the boring characters and actors and his way of trying to be special and arty is just making me want to scream out about his poorness, thinking how can people fall into such an obvious trap, do peoplejust follow the « fashion » like sheeps, dont they have the capacity of telling this movie is empty?

He is trying to capture instants of life, as Jim Jarmusch for example can do in a brillant and very intelligent way, but here it is simply EMPTY completely boring, nothing interesting nothing that sounds real or fun, simply emptyness.

I could only think to myself during the whole movie, did he really chose this job to only be able to hangout with sexy girls and get to know them, the only motivation he has by being a « director » is to have power over those girls. That is the only thing i come out with after 3hours of deep boringness, how can he find producers after this seriously i dont know, people might be forgetting what cinema is about.

Avoid anything that has to deal with this director, he is an imposter.
