Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
An example or several of why this film is a written disaster
Rey ends up burying Anakin's lightsaber in sand which he hated, on a planet where he and his mother were enslaved and where his mother later died.
Or when Finn was surprised that the first order had jet packs despite how jet packs have been in every army the galaxy has seen for many thousands of years.
Or how Rey can use force lightning because she is Palpatines granddaughter even though it's a Sith ability and how force abilities can't been genetically passed on.
I could go on and on about scenes in this film which make no sense not only to the wider Star Wars universe but even the other sequel movies but I have better things to do that put in more effort into writing this review than the writers did into their film.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013)
Absolutely wonderful show that has unfortunately started to go stale.
The characters and comedy especially in the first 4 seasons was excellent but has since had some not so good episodes in my opinion. With the older seasons I was laughing to near tears and with the more recent ones I might laugh a bit one episode and slightly chuckle in the other. I do truly hope the show improves but unfortunate comedy shows have very limited life spans.
Also I would like to address how I hate how Terry's character gets constantly sexually harassed and then an episode in season 6 completely forgets about it and also goes against the fair judicial system (having someone have no evidence but their own word and for it to not be enough does not mean the judicial system is broken or unfair). While the other politics focused episodes are indeed good, this was hypocritical and treated it's audience like a flock of headless chickens.
Charlie's Angels (2019)
What the hell did I just watch?
This film is just awful in everyway possible and such a shame Patrick Stewart has to be associated with this mess of a "film". Also the film is quite misandristic, so much for equality Hollywood.
If you are thinking about watching this film please I beg you save you money for something more worth it. If you want to watch a good film with a strong female lead watch, Aliens, Salt, Terminator, Tomb Raider, Atomic Blonde, Red Sparrow, etc.
Batwoman: Pilot (2019)
Just awful
Honestly one of the worst written pilots I've ever watched. From the poor writing, to the over reliance of narration (show don't tell), unrealistic poorly done fight scenes, crappy music, inconstancies (like when a character is smashed on the side of the head and then she wakes up with no wound or mark anywhere on her face).
Only thing decent was the acting, but no way good enough to save this episode.
If you like watching dumb shows like love island or Troy and you're really into superheroes then this show is for you. Otherwise to everyone else stay clear of this show unless if it somehow makes a miraculous comeback.
The Orville: Primal Urges (2019)
A decent episode
This episode was enjoyable enough but nothing amazing, but definitely far from a 1/10. They shouldn't have ever done another episode on Gortus right after an episode with a story around him. This episode should have aired 3-4 episodes later.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes (2013)
A Buggy Mess worse than that of a Bethesda game
When I first got this game I loved it, I had very little faults with the game and had an overall enjoyable time.
But after returning 5 years later to get the platinum trophy on the PS4 I've come to realise how much of a buggy mess this game is. With somehow being able to collect the same mini kits pushing me other the mini kit completion with many levels, many characters missing from the map preventing me from 100% the game (like the ghost rider missions which are missing preventing me to get Spiderman F.F. and Mr Fantastic F.F.) and various other bugs that can completely ruin any enjoyment.
By far the worst Lego game I've ever played which saddens me greatly to say.
