Paradise PD (2018)
A very messed up Brickelberry Spinoff.
I remember watching Brickleberry and Sausage Party, and enjoying every minute of them. But, Paradise PD has gone way overboard in the nasty and exceedingly gross material and dialogue. It would have been much better if they had continued the Brickleberry series instead of this trashy drivel of a show.
Bright (2017)
Will Smith Sinks to New Lows!
Had Will Smith been cast as the Orc, this would have been a much more believable and entertaining movie, really, he already has Humongous Ears and a Wisecracking Attitude as well as a deep baritone voice.
Life Below Zero (2013)
Unnecessary Slaughter of Innocent Animals!
First of all I'd like to say that parts of this show are beautiful and breathtaking, while other scenes are downright cruel and uncalled for. I'm all for subsistence living where you only kill what you need to eat, but when it comes to the taking of lives of Magnificent Animals such as Wolves, Lynxes, Wolverines, Beavers and Martins just for skinning them and selling their pelts...let's just say I consider it a Criminal Act.
In the past, 300 or so years ago, it was a necessary and fundamental way of life, but nowadays...I just believe that it's all downright evil and inconsiderate! By the way, someone needs to tell Sue to stop overstating the obvious so much... and incessantly repeating the same lines over and over again.
Riaru onigokko (2015)
Lots of Skin!
Since really good streamed movies are something of a rarity on Netflix, I decided to give TAG a chance at proving me wrong. Well, I must be totally honest here, asides from all the pantie and bra flashes which were erotically evocative for me, there's just no other worthwhile substance to these movies that would lead me to give it a higher rating than 3 stars, and only because of all the sexually suggestive undergarments and skin shown here. I must also mention that this is a cheap shot at "Vanilla Sky" which was a much more complex and superior movie than Tag.
Two Lovers and a Bear (2016)
A Bear & A Quarrelsome Couple!
I viewed this movie last night on Netflix, and found it to be Superb. I especially enjoyed all the free looki-loos, but more than anything I believe the Bear and the obviously troubled lives of the protagonists are what made this movie highly enjoyable. I must admit though, that the unexpected ending was very sad and had us in tears. Nonetheless, an Outstanding Movie by any measure! "Gimme a Fish!"
Wingbeats of the Amazon (1997)
As with all Animal Documentaries, you will enjoy watching this.
Excellent Documentary about our Avian friends in South America. Very well filmed with lots of interesting facts about the incredible variety of birds that live there.
I was very surprised to learn that the much celebrated TOUCAN is actually part carnivore and that it eats other birds' chicks and eggs.
I'll bet the makers of "FRUIT LOOPS" never knew that either, otherwise their Product Mascot would have been anything except a TOUCAN!
Sharkansas Women's Prison Massacre (2015)
Sharkasm
Well, since everything that needed to be said about this movie has already been written about by one of the Top 500 Commenters on Amazon, then I'll just add my bit to it. (While it was a highly entertaining and excellent work of art, achievable only by the most experienced Shark Trainers in the World, just imagine how difficult it must be to train the sharks to burrow through sand and swim in less than a foot of water, and what kind of treats could they possibly be giving the sharks to entice them to perform so admirably, but at the same time not eat the Cameramen, Lighting and Sound Technicians). Just some "SARCASM" here to lighten the mood. Hope you enjoyed my Bit.
Quantico (2015)
The Flashbacks alone drive one Insane!
I was only able to withstand 3 episodes of this wholly unrealistic and crappy drivel of a show. The constantly irritating and confusing flashbacks do absolutely nothing to help this series, and the mindless & ludicrous plot make it even worse. Not even Alex's gorgeous face along with her hot, puffy and juicy lips can save this. The show is more reminiscent of a Bollywood backyard production than anything else! I'll be toddling off now to look for something else to watch.
Family Guy (1999)
No longer amusing!
It's painfully obvious that the writers of Family Guy have run out of ideas for the show. Season 14 is an absolute flop and should have never been published, it would have been better to end the series at season 13 which was already in the throes of death. At least I wouldn't have been as disillusioned as I now am. I had originally rated this show 10 stars, but with season 14 I'm lowering it to 8 stars.
Sausage Party (2016)
Supermarket Block Party!
This was absolutely hilariously funny, another Brickleberry on steroids with heaps and more heaps of Robot Chicken thrown in for one hell of a CockTail. To all the Prudes out there, for God's Sake this is an adult cartoon movie that happens to Star Sausages, Buns, Tacos, Tequilas, a Douche rinse, Canned goods, Candies and everything else that you would find in a Supermarket, but in a make believe World full of Testosterone and Estrogen fueled Sexx maniacs. The cummwad that played Stephen Hawking was outstanding! Loosen up folks, I'm fairly sure that if an Excellent Adult comedy cartoon like this was aired on a regular Broadcast channel, everybody would be having the best and loudest laugh of their lives.
Brickleberry (2012)
Not for the Easily offended.
Take "Family Guy", "American Dad" and "The Simpsons" plus a pinch of "South Park" & "Robot Chicken" then throw them all into a blender, mix and you get a "Brickleberry Cocktail". This is the funniest and raunchiest Adult cartoon series I've ever viewed! I hope they make more episodes. I've never laughed as much in my life. Keep 'em coming guys. WOW!!!
Bigfoot: The Evidence Files (2014)
A Grizzly's call to fame & fortune!
First of all, "I'd like to make it abundantly clear that I Don't Believe that Bigfoot currently exists, perhaps 200,000 years ago as Gigantopithecus, but definitely not present now". This was far and wide the worst of all the Bigfoot Documentaries shown here, as the narrator mentions that people complain that videos and photos are always fuzzy and out of focus or too far away to make a clear and concise identification.
And then what does he show us? The same crappy evidence that always appears on these shows, either Grizzly Bears or people in very shoddy ape costumes that are fuzzy & out of focus. Need I say more?
The Burrowers (2008)
A different style of Western/Horror/Sci-Fi.
This Movie keeps you alert and on edge with an excellent choice of unusual creatures that make sounds a lot like The Predator, but are way more dangerous. It's a horrible way to die, being eaten while paralyzed but fully conscious.
I liked the explanation of their having existed since before humans came on the scene, and subsisting on the then millions of Bison, and since we were the primary cause of the reduction in Bison numbers, well then, we're the Main Course for them now. A really good movie. Preferably it should be watched in total darkness for the Creepy Effect.
Chappie (2015)
This could have been the perfect "10".
This was basically a "Feel Good" Movie, although a mish mash of Short Circuit, Robocop, District 9 and I Robot. In effect, a rip-off, knock- off, and unoriginal movie. I still liked it, but it could have been so much more if they had left out the bulbous looking robot from Robocop, and created a new story line. Also worthy of mention here is that using Hugh Jackman as the crazy and eccentric madman, was quite possibly counter productive for his professional career, and he'll certainly be feeling the backlash for this for years to come.
Abbey Grace (2016)
Good Special Effects.
This was a highly unusual ghost story movie, the plot was well planned, the special effects very convincing, the story line was acceptable and although I rate it at 7.5 stars, it was mostly for the great special effects.
The actors unfortunately left much to be desired in the way the dialogue was spoken, at times it seemed painfully obvious they were reading from cue cards, or in other words their dialogue was completely without feeling and totally lacking in sounding convincing.
The ending was a nice touch, but again, the person we saw dragged under that shed...was not the same as the one that grabbed Stacey, unless of course they had a communal living arrangement under the shed.
Crawlspace (2016)
Scary? Yes
When I viewed this Movie on HBO yesterday, I was completely flummoxed and thrown for a loop while trying to make sense of the ending, like who was the person that was shot by the cops, and how come there was still one more nut job left within the walls.
The Movie seems to hint at a supernatural plot from the beginning, but starts veering off towards a Thriller soon after. There were a few scenes that suggested an entity that could move about the house totally unnoticed by anyone, and appeared to have super strength and blinding speed.
I was elated when the locksmith was claw hammered in the head, but couldn't understand how the assailant got himself and the corpse up the attic in what seemed to be mere seconds without making any discernible noise whatsoever.
The unbelieving Parents bit has become somewhat passe over the many movies that continue to use it, maybe it's about time Producers start to come up with other ideas to keep thrillers or supernatural movies more interesting and appealing to the audiences.
It's a total shame that the gorgeous and vivacious wife and daughter had to "buy the farm" in the end. Don't get me wrong, the movie has lots of "jump in your chair moments"...but I still think this movie would have played out much better if it had been of the supernatural flavor instead.
Skinwalkers (2006)
Werewolves Can Also Be Fashionable!
This was one heck of a Non-Stop Action Movie. Much more Violent than I had heard it was, although I must admit that after seeing Jason Behr as a mild mannered alien on Roswell...it was most surprising to see him portraying a very Nasty & Ticked off Werewolf on this Movie. The women cast to participate in this movie, Rhona Mitra, Natassia Malthe and Sarah Carter were also very well chosen for their respective parts.
This is the first Werewolf Movie I've seen where after their Transformation they're still fully clothed, so instead of winding up Naked once they revert to their Human form, they can still go about their daily routines with none the wiser.
And at least they don't require an endless wardrobe to replace the torn or magically disappeared clothing they had been previously wearing, also worth mentioning is their more or less shaggy human resemblance, rather than having a wolf's snout and rear wolf legs with giant paws as in other Werewolf movies. Overall, A Fantastic Movie!
The VVitch: A New-England Folktale (2015)
Do not watch this movie with children younger than 13.
A very frightful and graphic representation of Pilgrims' lives in New England during the 17th century, more so since it was the Pilgrims themselves that brought the art of Witchcraft from Great Britain and continued practicing it in the New World. Although the scene of the baby being mashed by the witch was a really unnecessary addition to the movie, the movie overall still deserves 10 stars for its truthfulness and superb actors.
Any Minute Now (2013)
Sit down, relax and enjoy!
I can't believe all the negative reviews for this wonderful and bloodless movie. Granted, it's the type of Ghost story that would be shown on "Lifetime" and as such, you won't see as much blood & guts as in other "Sicko" type movies. What I really think is that people in general shy away from British movies. Why? Maybe they have a hard time understanding the British, who actually speak the "Original English Language".
Thirst (2015)
Laugh at the funny Cyborg!
Take Alien, Terminator and Blade 2, put them in a blender on its highest setting and you'll soon have a Life sucking cyborg resembling a very large six legged lizard from hell. Now go ahead and throw in 8 or 9 people without an inkling as to what's going on right in front of them, and you've got yourself a B movie aspiring to be even less. Still, it's worth a watch just to laugh yourself silly watching all these morons running around like a bunch of headless chickens. My reason for giving it 9 stars, I'm a sucker-magnet for bad movies, so why not?
Oltre il guado (2013)
Not your typical Supernatural Movie.
This movie sent me for a loop, here I was expecting a crummy independent mystery film, oh boy..I couldn't have been more mistaken. The movie involves a basically mundane Animal Researcher capturing woodland creatures and fitting them with satellite tracking infrared cameras, and for the first 20 minutes or so I kept getting the urge to scrap it and go to the next film. Well, I'll tell you I'm awfully glad that I stuck it out to the end, the really good part doesn't start until he crosses the river and drives to an abandoned village at the end of the road, then........................................Sorry, I have to stop here or I'll ruin your own scary experience. Totally mind numbing!
The Coed and the Zombie Stoner (2014)
Eye Candy Galore!
Regardless of how stupid or idiotic this movie may have been, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It may have to do with the fact that I'll be turning 65 in a few months and am looking at it through the eyes of a naughty old man. But, really now, whomever watched this movie for its cinematic values, is probably a middle aged aspiring movie critic with a lot of spare time on their hands. Not so for me, I watched it for all the naked female flesh being paraded throughout the entire movie. Who cares that the zombies smoke weed or that the movie is definitely very unrealistic and not an original major production. The important thing here is all the girls, girls and more girls. Long Live The Naked Flesh!
La bête (1975)
Semen Spigot!
I viewed this theatrical masterpiece (Ha, Ha) on Netflix today, and I must say that it caught me completely off guard. This movie attempts to convey the message as to what lengths women will go to satisfy their most erotic inner fantasies.
As soon as the movie starts one sees the stallion with his gigantic phallus swinging wildly as he proudly struts about prior to mounting the mare, and then as his member frantically and blindly searches for her pleading vagina until finally achieving full penetration.
The movie then goes about showing the participating actors and their appropriate parts in the plot. After that things start to get very interesting as everyone anxiously awaits the Cardinal's arrival. We are then shown that the lazy butler is very sexually involved with the groom's horny sister, and that the groom is a certainly very weird individual. We also get to see the Priest caressing and mouth kissing one of his choir boys (to be expected, of course).
The rest of the movie involves the bride-to-be getting extremely horny and experiencing very erotically charged dreams with a super sexually endowed wolf man that ejaculates like an eternally open faucet more frequently than is possible under any circumstances. I definitely enjoyed this movie and would recommend to all viewers that they see it together with their partners.
Out of the Dark (2014)
Supernatural with Taste.
This is a very good Supernatural/Horror movie, and thankfully, it wasn't the typical Slasher type flick that most of the Naysayers posting here were probably expecting. It's truly disappointing that no one else seems to be able to appreciate a Supernatural type movie without all the blood, gore and spilled intestines of other less desirable Supernatural movies.
Definitely worth watching if you enjoy a more realistic storyline without the usual senseless slashing/killing of other Horror movies. The location setting on the Western Caribbean coast of Northern Colombia and the use of the town's indigenous population's past tragedy involving some of their children, is very useful in creating the dark and ghostly atmosphere that surrounds the movie itself.
