Nôgêmu nôraifu: Zero (2017)
Emotional rollercoaster about the most badass duo.
I have waited probably a year to watch this movie finally, and no big surprise was a fantastic movie with a ton of great lore and characters.
The movie sets itself back in time around 6000 years ago, where everyone was in a war, and it rained this ash that could kill the Humans. The Ex-Machina destroyed the home of our main character Riku as he was a child. Riku managed to survive somehow after a massive explosion.
Years past by and a ton of his friends died, they blamed himself every time whenever they died and was quite emotional towards the death of his great friends that trust them with their life.
Riku then later on the movie found the Ex-Machina that destroyed his home and was shocked. She invited him to play a game of chess, which didn't show who won, but as we can assume that the Ex-Machina won. The Ex-Machina then joined Riku and wanted to know about "hear" and what makes the humans keep going even though they lost so much. Riku of course later ask the Ex-Machina for its name, and she is called Üc207Pr4f57t9, he asks again, and some names pop up and eventually she is known as Shuvi.
Fast forward in the movie: Riku and Shuvi make a bond that won't be quickly forgotten, while Shivu slowly learns about the human heart, Riku goes on his knees and proposes to Shivu. Shivu declines at first as she thinks it is impossible that a human and an Ex-Machina can stay together forever and be married. She further goes to say she destroyed his home, she did everything- yet Riku says something around the lines of that her past doesn't matter. She being here now and being with him in the future is what matters most to him, so he puts the ring and once more asks "Will you marry me?" she accepts, and they get married, which really beautiful. They would be known as Riku & Shuvi Dola, which is the last name of Corone- which is Stephanie's ancestor.
Then here we're at the end of the movie where everything matters, our main characters Riku & Shivu played around against the races and took them to the center to get the ultimate device, this is where the movie and everything gets emotional and sad, Riku is exhausted and tired of everything so far. Riku finally gets "a day off" as before Riku falls asleep he said how happy he met Shivu and how much he loves her. Riku falls asleep, and Shivu decides to go alone- outside. When we see Jibril go out and fight 1 on 1 against Shivu, where she says that Jibril wants Shivu's head as she's adorable.
Shivu warns Jibril, and she doesn't listen and where they fight in a largely heated battle where Shivu does her best to survive and live. When she was about to be beaten, she calls to the creator that Riku has completed her quest to know about the human heart, and as she is dying, the creator first declines then Shivu hesitates and explain her discovery. This gets accepted, and she gets in her super machina form where she battles Jibril as she got some seconds to live with this form. Jibril blasts her and defeats Shivu, Shivu is heavily damaged and barely fight back. She is lying there hopeless as she does one last thing before Jibril destroys her and that is sent Riku her wedding ring.
Riku realizes this and wakes up that Shivu is nowhere to be found and she has indeed died. He is completely lost and sad- he is broken and can give up once for a moment. He just lost the reason of him keep going of him keep fighting. Without that he doesn't know what to do anymore. Then one of the more advanced Ex-Machina arrives to give him the ring and Riku decides to give it one last go.
The plan has just started the giant bombs, and magic in one center make the ultimate device appear as Riku is about to grab it he can't manage to grab it as he gets mad over how many people died over gaining this device. Soon he attempts to take out his hand to take it, he slowly disappears and dies. He makes one last knee and prays to the god of games. He prays, and the god of games appears in front of him and makes his prayer come true.
Shivu's death and Riku's last stand was the saddest part of the movie, and I'd say this movie is pretty damn good and worth a shot. I think you should watch this movie as this movie is about the two most bad ass married couple who fought against the chance in a game.
The credit song was as well beautiful, I have to say there is no bonus scenes so you don't have to sit through the credit, but if you wish to listen to the beatiful voice then be my guest.
Borrowed Time (2015)
Gorgeous and heartbreaking piece of work. Superb!
I just saw this around the internet and was like "It's worth a try" and oh god... it is! This might the most majestic short movie I've seen so far. It went to questions to answers, to even more answers. It's also a bit heartbreaking, but in a good way. This movie is so good that it actually felt like a long decent movie.
I was really impressed they chose Gustavo Santaolalla's soundtracks in this because his soundtracks is pretty good and fitting for this.
If I had to describe this movie in few words then it would be "Shot through the heart", if you don't know what I mean by that, so do I mean it as This gave feels, so hardcore that my heart was hurting.
No Game, No Life (2014)
My favourite anime
I never expected to see such an amazing anime in my entire life... I loved each episode, each character and each game this game presented.
I see a lot of people complain about Steph, but she is still a person, she doesn't need to be only stupid, Sora and Shiro is just smarter than her (actually way smarter, maybe 10x smarter).
Their goal is something I'm excited to see they can manage to do, if they can actually take on everyone or how hard it is to defeat them. I'm a bit sad about the ending, but I'm a huge fan of open endings, also the episodes and what it does in those episodes fixes the open ending, makes you even more excited for season 2! Otherwise I can't fully add in full sentences how much I love this anime, but I really want to see the movie (if it's real deal) and the season 2.
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry (2015)
This may be the most amazing anime ever.
I've seen Rakudai like 3 times and I cried at the ending so many times, but let's start from the very beginning before going to the end.
I showed my friend this first to see what he thinks and he didn't like the first episode, because the first episode is supposed to kind of introduce you towards the series and I can see what he means.
The first episode so was there a massive fan service, but it's like a dangerous type of fan service, but it was that type of cliché where the female trips over the male, but this time, so did we see the body of the male instead of some "panty shot". She saw the body and saw, also felt a body of a warrior who didn't give up, with a lot of spirit in him and I really loved that little detail.
Further in the story we saw a type of cliché that the little sister loves her's brother, even makes up with him and such. But the reason of it was really touching, I really loved it and I was feeling the main character in the bottom of my heart and soul.
Ikki Kurogane was one of the manliest character I've seen (well, until I saw JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusade) his manliness was just great- no more than great, like... Greater! Later in sooner episodes, Stella and Ikki was alone in a house for themselves and Stella was really sick, how Stella wanted Ikki and her to have it (aka sex), I was thrilled, I thought it would turn into hentai, but no it didn't Ikki's response was something I didn't quite see coming, it's a response I didn't quite expect and it was super manly of him and that was one of my favourite moments until the last episode! The last episode was the battle everyone wanted and waited for Miss Lighting VS Mr. F and nothing! He proved himself that he can't show any chances and went to the limit- No, more than the limit! He went beyond what he could manage and escaped his father. He then followed the epic win with a proposal and I was amazingly touched by that, like I cried right there in that ending and it was one of the best ending I've seen in a season 1 of anime.
Even this gets season 2 or not, I loved how it ended and I'm happy about that ending.
Metalocalypse (2006)
It's so brutal.
I've seen so far all the seasons and episodes and I love it, as Nathan says "It's so brutal!"; the animation quality isn't what we see today. but the characters and story is amazing! The songs is catchy and amazing, also brutal.
This is no show for children's of course, but this is a show for brutal people and men. I love how dangerous they're just being one of the most popular band and the government want to end them because that. Like at one of the episodes so does the government and Dethklok fight and that was just amazing, so much happened and I was cheering for Dethklok.
It's been a while sense I've seen it, so I don't remember how it ended that well, but I remember all the references and quotes.
This series even did name most of the restaurants after bands or just did some funny pun in them and I love that. There's a lot of little details you can't see that easily, but once you do, you'll love this series even more.
I rymden finns inga känslor (2010)
Just amazing and touching
My friend first suggested me this movie and I thought I wouldn't like it and god I was wrong! I really loved how it starts as this guy who is all alone and is in space (or kind of...). I first didn't quite like his character that he got problems, but I see why and how. Every time he saw the girl around a time was there the shipping started! I wanted the main character and this girl to be together and they did in the end! But how the main character tried to make this girl to like his brother was just amazing how hard he tried it. He didn't give up, not even once! I really loved it, I thought it was really touching.
It had some downs, like really small ones. But they're ignorable, otherwise really love this. This is a romance movie I can actually like to watch without telling what happens next right away.
The Green Mile (1999)
My review and thoughs on this movie.
First time I heard about this, I thought "This will probably be bad." Then I watched it and holy molly! I loved everything! I loved the part he became friend with the mouse (or rat, I keep forgetting.) As a honest man. I cried at the end when the big dude was going too die and I cried the most when Del went on fire.
I watched this like... two times and I still love it even now. Once I saw the flash back from the prisoner (I forgot his name...) I was like "NO YOU DIDN'T!" I were so happy when Percy shot him with 5 bullets. I'd love watch more of these movies with stories that is based on a true story or not a true story. Like this is a movie we need our world. Even I do love horror movies then these... This gave me the "WOW!" the most.
P.S: My grammar is not the best, so do not complain.
