Outer Banks (2020)
More Holes than a Swiss Cheese Factory
Its basically the Outsiders meet Scooby Doo Mystery Wagon. It starts out OK and begins to slowly sink with each episode. The acting is as bad and unrealistic as the timelines. Cheesy dialogue and cliches try to keep this series afloat to no avail. The best parts are the gorgeous cinematography of the actual OBX. If it wasn't for the quarantine value, I couldn't have made it through 4 episodes. The first couple of episodes are not bad but it gets increasingly dumber as it progresses and the writers became lazier, scene by scene. In the end you are like; "WHAT THE H??? The time lines make no sense and the characters are so bad that even Steven Segal would shake his Kendo Stick at this series. The last two episodes destroy the entire season so badly that you think that the producers might have been saying: "We have to hurry and wrap this up, a Pandemic is coming!"
Sniper Special Ops (2016)
Someone Put A Bullet In Me!
To sum this one up, Steven Segal is the best actor in this crew! This was so bad that I rather drink a case of Segals energy drink Lightning Bolt than watch this a second time. The actors and the actress playing the female reporter are so bad that you are not sure if it's just a bad script and horrible directing or if they are really trying. Segal is really fat these days and talks as if he just ate the entire Thanksgiving day dinner as he sounds out of breath on each line. As a sniper, he never takes his Oakley sunglasses off...possibly as a means to cover the puffy bags under his eyes. No one in this movie is believable in their roles once they begin talking.
Braven (2018)
Aqua Man becomes Logger Man
I get it...Let's capitalize on this lite version of The Rock while hes hot. The best part of this movie was the scenery. Loosely written and enough goofs to make John Travolta say; "And they criticized GOTTI!?!?"
American Factory (2019)
Amazing Yet Not Surprising
Really enjoyed this documentary. The thing that amazed me most was the amount of American workers that seem to forget that they were kicked out the door and into the cold in 2008. The union almost put those people back out of work. The most embarrassing guy was the old white haired dude complaining about the microwaves. This is a great example of why you get a backup plan and develop multiple streams of income so you're not trapped in this type of occupation.

Speed Kills (2018)
So Bad, Juan Epstein Rolled Over in His Grave
This was so bad you couldn't take your eyes off of it. Vinny Barbarino was an Oscar worthy role compared to what has become of Travolta. The acting and directing is worse than his Gotti role.
Friday Night Lights (2006)
Best Final Episode Ever!
I loved this series from beginning to end. I didn't see a single episode till it was wrapped and on Netflix. One of the signs of a great series is the degree of attachment you grow to have with the characters. The final episode was one of the best wraps and closure to a series I've ever seen. No strings are left untied.
Inside Man: Most Wanted (2019)
Poor Mans Italian Job
I watches on a plane flight and this was painful to stick through to the end. There was more "cheese" in this movie than a Wisconsin dairy. Poor acting and cliche filled dialogues reminiscent of 80's action films. They tried to get Aml Ameen to play the Denzel / Will Smith role but he came across more like a guy on the Maury show that was being DNA tested as a Baby Daddy. Rhea Seehorn was the only legitimate believable performer in the whole movie. Unfortunately, they give the swerve away about midway through the movie, so you already see how it will all play out.
Carter High (2015)
As poorly written as a Bengals game plan
Sad but true story that needed to be told. However the writer and director should be penalized for Unwatchable Conduct. Most of the high school players look to be in their late 20s-early 30's. The head Coach appears to be married to his Granddaughter The amount of goofs and inconsistencies have more holes than the Miami Dolphins offensive line. Its "Friday Night Lights" goes to the hood. I grinded it out on a flight because I wanted to see how history played out.
The New Edition Story (2017)
The Temptations Lite
This poor series tried so hard to be the Temptations documentary. Same story lines, poor acting and second rate choreography. So much cringeworthy cliche in the series that even Bobby Browns gap couldn't bear to watch.
