A heartwarming story
17 December 2021
This anime is more of a story shown for all kind of viewers no matter the age, its slow paced and partly self-explainable and each episode leaves you thinking about your own actions, its quite relatable aswell.

The music and art style is just where it need to be, one of the better animes that came out during the entire 2021.

One Tree Hill (2003–2012)
7/10
All good things come to an end
31 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
In the first season we get a long introduction into both the teenage world of the main cast but also their parents, the fictional location Tree Hill gets established and as any teenager drama, the life is here and now, inmature behaviour etc but it really good production, the script is easy to follow and things get overcomplicated all the time as it tend to be in that age.

The following five seasons we see the characters grow up, form stronger bonds, more local characters get introduced, more creativeness are put into the show, lots of populare music from that time, so far the show is a 9/10, I'd say its amoung the best drama shows out there.

Season 7 and onwards really loses the feel of what the show was all about, we get new characters that are just dull and they take up way to much of the screen time, no matter where we are the director just feeds us with american big city drama. The script fill rushed and lack of a second.opinion.

Due to this the overall show goes down from a 9/10 to a 7/10. It stays at 7 because the original cast still put up a good job.

Star Wars: Episode IX A Space Fiasco
19 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Every coin has two sides and this movie really lives up to that statement. The acters and actresses are probably doing a really good job based on what the producers asked from them but was it a true Star Wars act, sadly not, it wasn't much of a story line explained by the characters as the original Episode IV, V and VI, lots of forced jokes and attempt to be funny in a none Sci-Fi matter.

What about the art, design of the adventure? Once again it is what the producer asked for, heavy details but not much appreciation was given to it, I feel sad for all those hours of work put into it with good guidelines and yet no sorry.

As Disney have proven in all their contributions a lack of basic understanding both in Stsr Wars Universe but also Sci fi as a genre which is really disappointing.

First of all the time travelling between teo locations are instant? Insane scaling of mass production both the good and evil? The fact Leia was dead but not asscended as an astral projection for days as a 'Jedi'? C-3P0 having humor? Quicksand not being visible before thry got trapped and than being totally visible rest of the movie? Since Ren is a sith, were both or one of her parents a sith/jedi? This wierd bond between dyads? Yellow lightsaber designed to have two activation points? The new eradicate weapon? The wierd explosion of Hijines? Both Jedis aiming for killing blows on everything they fight?

The list goes on and on for 141 minutes.

Your Name. (2016)
10/10
I am speechless.
9 September 2016
So the movie is named "Your name?" and its a perfect title, it doesn't reveal anything about the content and yet it caught my interest. I tend to watch animated movies because they have so much more to offer at the same time it is a tougher competition.

The story line is really good, why? Well it you are open minded it will be pretty easy to follow and accept what is going on, question about how and why get answered by themselves if you believe it is possible. Regarding the animation it give you what your mainstream point of view of Japans architecture, nature, culture and society, all from how they dress to the body language etc. The music, sound effects and voice actor/actress amplifies the emotions and guides you from start till end. There are plenty of a messages and it makes me thing about me and everything living around me, where I come from and where I am going. Regarding the character development its spot on, no more information was needed then what was provided, we are limited but at the same time free to make our own thought.

I wish to say thank you to everyone who have supported and/or worked with this piece of art, they should feel really proud of themselves, it is an honor that you shared it with us (the viewers). Thank you!

Few expectations bring a lot of surprises
25 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
My deepest apologies for the lack of grammar and prompting structure.

Sci Fi and Fantasy are my favorite genres, movies/TV- shows/books/communities. I stopped watching trailers and reading previews many years ago because they tended to spoil the good parts and cinemas tended to repeat them a lot before the movie started, the positive is that I have little to no expectations which makes my movie experience really good/bad/average depending on the quality of the movie.

I judge the films based on the following areas, Q: Is the story good? Does it fit in the genre, is it connected to the previous movies/TV-shows? A: There are one major story regarding junior James T. Kirk, a side story that wraps it up SPOILER! Frankling, and two minor stories regarding Spook and Jaylah. Overall I think they are good, adds several elements that feeds a wide spectrum.

Q: How did the actors/actresses preformed? Do I connect with them? A: There are plenty of brilliant people in this movie both minor and major characters but they did there part all from humor, compassion, nostalgia and some excitement.

Q: What feelings do the music give me and is it supposed to be this feeling in scenario x? A: As stated by other reviews, the music was used correctly and I think my senses reacted as it was suppose to do.

Q: Do the time fly by or did it feel like I have been here for hours? A: For me, those two hours felt like a normal 30-45 min episode so good job on that part.

So what do the movie lack? Well it felt like each species encountered had more or less no background story, Simon Pegg proved once again the difference between actors and play-actors. The movie have plenty of human reactions walking on a thin line to cross over to drama. Sofia Boutella character Jaylah was mysterious for 3-6 min in the movie and suddenly "it" was once of us, more character development please. All of Krall's followers were they human or mixed species?

I believe 8 out of 10 is a fair score for this movie.
