There is a lot I can say about Macross Plus but one word that describes the film perfectly is Beautiful.
I first saw Macross plus when I was 14 years old, it was the second Anime I ever saw and since then it has became my favourite.
Plot wise - Macross plus has a very complex and interesting story, the main characters are well drawn and with each episode you get to discover more and the mysteries they hide.
Macross plus has beautiful visuals and stunning music performed by the very talented Yoko Kano (Cowboy Bebop)
The plot is a love story set in the world of Macross , but it is more of a dark love story that shows how messy situations can get when the truth is buried under lies.
Macross plus in a way is a sad show but that also adds to it's charm.
If you love great dark love stories with a futuristic twist then Macross plus is defiantly for you, I am 17 now and I enjoy it even more.
The show has something for everyone really and there is a character for everyone to relate to.
Be it a cocky and arrogant youth to a stubborn dark hidden maturity , Macross plus has it.
