Ghost Adventures: The Washoe Club: Final Chapter (2018)
30 minutes from my house.
I have taken the tour in this place. It was eerie to feel such difference in energy from room to room. So surreal to see them investigate this place that I've been in before. Pretty wild that I'm so close to the most haunted city in the country. My brother, dad and I are going to stay the night here pretty soon. They capture some serious evidence here that seriously freaked me out. Cool to see old evidence they collected and hear from their old dear friends. Wow. Just wow.
Ghost Adventures: Old Gila County Jail and Courthouse (2018)
Zak strikes again...
I wish that they would mess with Zak as much as he messes with them. Poor Aaron is always singled out. Zak doesn't feel bad, despite saying so. Ever notice that Zak only goes solo in the least scary situations? In fact, in every instance (except the dolls) I would do what he does solo. But like zero of the ones he puts Aaron or Jay through. That aside, this is a good episode! Zak TOTALLY misheard with the bionic ear. But there were several scary and compelling pieces of evidence in this one, for sure.
Ghost Adventures: Zalud House (2016)
Evp correction
These guys need to upgrade the headphones because I have found so many errors in their interpretations for the evp recordings. When "douche bagans" goes down to the couch the spirit says, "please don't sit there." He deserved everything he got and more for bullying Aaron into sitting in the chair. I am an understanding and accepting person but he happens to be one of the most unbearable people I've ever encountered. I never sag things like these but come on dude... pretty decent episode. Especially the recording at the table.

It doesn't say can't do nothing...
It says you do not leave. 😳
Very good episode. This season is my favorite so far. Very intense and compelling.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to express how much I dislike "douche bagans".

I am not into war movies, generally speaking. This is by far the best one I have seen. The characters are perfectly crafted. My favorite thing about this movie was the way it was able to show war from so many different viewpoints through these people. And there is a lot being said subtextually as well as symbolically. I cannot imagine what war must be like... but by watching this movie, I feel I'm about as close as I'll ever get to the real thing. The opening scene is one of the most difficult viewing experiences I have ever had. I almost turned it off because it was so real and horrifying. I heard vets walked out during this scene when it was in theaters for that reason. I BELIEVE IT! Anyway, the score for this movie was one of the best I've ever heard... such emotion portrayed through music... I love this! Every shot (with the camera, that is) is purposeful and amazing. Some of the best editing I've ever seen! The visual effects were definitely ahead of their time. Wow... just wow! A plot that is very different and a script that feel genuine. I cannot believe that this is my highest rated movie at this point seeing as I dont like war movies. But every single piece that made the whole movie was perfect or damn near it! Wish I had the chance to see this in theaters but I'm about 20 years late to the party.

The actors given the script they were, took on the role of their characters perfectly. It was thoroughly enjoyable to watch. Super refreshing to see them as characters more so than actors if you know what I mean. Martin Scorsese is at his best here in nearly every aspect. The suspense has been taken up a notch. I feel like he is at his peak, which makes me very excited to see what he has in mind for the future. My brother and I got into a very heated debate in light of the events that followed Hoffa being released from prison. By the time we finished, we looked at each other in astonishment of everything involved, had a "holy crap" laugh and hugged. Overall a wonderful movie to watch. It does feel lengthy but not to the point where you're picking things apart that "dont belong". You definitely have to go into this one with the right mindset though. If you do, you will love it.

The only thing I felt this movie did right was capture the characters very well and give them a script that was well-thought out and relatable. Yet somehow, the whole time I watched this movie I couldn't help but feel cheated. It felt like a bad rip off of Superbad. In fact it was almost a replica of Superbad in pretty much every sense... but executed poorly. So if you didnt like Superbad you will almost certainly not like this one. And if you did like Superbad... just watch super bad and pretend they're all 10 years younger and you'll be much more happy, I'm sure.

The perfect tangled mess! The introduction of the characters is executed perfectly so as to paint a picture of everyone's personality using their biggest flaws. The setting of the house is one of the coolest set designs I have ever seen. There arent words for the style, but it is very specifically unique. You are left constantly guessing or believing you know what's going on throughout the movie as much or more than any brilliant mystery. The way in which you are taken on this journey is unlike anything I've ever experienced and that's where this movie truly shines... the perspective is utterly enjoyable and fresh! The storytelling flows perfectly and feels natural. Every shot is done deliberately and with such taste. I found myself getting lost in the cinematography paired with the score several time and was please to do so. This movie is the most fun I had in the movie theater in 2019. Simply amazing.

VERY MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD:
A story which feels like it's been told plenty of time before and sometimes slightly better than it's been told here. However, there are some elements of it that do it plenty of justice. It's a story of a man who is a has-been in the music industry. And what are all has-been artists notorious for? Drinking like a fish. And this is the real source of his has-beenness. He drowns he sorrows with booze and now lives in a delusional reality where he just wants to relive the glory days instead of moving on and making something new for himself. That is until he meets a young adoring fan who teaches him some very valuable lessons... And boy oh boy does he need to learn them. This movie's true saving grace is that he realizes happiness wont be found by reliving the glory days by making a bunch more money and records and succumbing to his disease(s) but by connecting with someone who truly cares about him. This is where the heart of the movie is and boy does it hum. And of course it breaks a time or two along the journey. The music is enjoyable and every element of it makes it a story worth telling.

Every drum snare, every highlight of words spoken, every snap of cinematography feels in its place. This movie all comes together in a perfect kind of way because of the way all of its elements meet. The overall plot can feel somewhat drab at times but everything else makes up for it. Nothing feels out of place with this film and you are able to witness true directive genius throughout the movie on top of all of the other layers of masterful work. One of the few instances where I may agree with the choice of film of the year.

There is so much going on in this movie that adds to the the entirety of the Harry Potter universe. From the relationship development between harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione to the beginning of Snapes' plot development and so much in between. Every element of this movie makes it absolutely magical. There are moments of sheer joy and utter travesty and everything in between. From the moment the movie starts you are catapulted into the characters perspectives. The atmosphere of sheer darkness becomes more apparent in this movie than in any prior. There is so much to be said specifically about this movie that makes it the masterpiece that it is, but please, go enjoy it for yourself and see one of the highest peaks of the harry potter-verse

One of the most beautiful movies that I have ever seen. It is certainly a movie that everyone should see at least once. The plot to this movie is perfectly executed and relayed to the viewer via lovable and despicable characters given a masterful script. The tone and atmosphere of this movie are surreal and feel like very little could have been improved in that department. There is a message in this movie that needs to be widely understood and outwardly manifested more and more with each passing day in this world. My heart has never hurt so badly and I have only cried this much when true catastrophe has struck my life. This movie will be forever remembered and treasured by all who are open-minded and open-hearted.

This movie marks the point where the Paranormal Activity franchise began to decline. The overall story is fairly interesting, yet somehow overall left me wanting. The acting quality is about the same as these kind of films typically is but it seems as though the writer was trying TOO hard to write a script that was natural and authentic in the sense of making the characters seem real. I saw right through it and it was cheesy and borderline annoying at times. The cinematography was even more poor than most found footage films but used some refreshing new elements that almost made up for it. i.e. the kinect camera and laptop cams. This franchise is known for making a low budget film that grosses tons of money and therefore they dont spend much on visual effects... and it shows. But this doesnt bother me and this movie actually had the best yet. Overall it's an okay horror movie with a pretty original concept but by the time it is finished you have more questions than you had answered.
