Teen Wolf: The Movie (2023)
Watchable but huh?
To begin with I am a fan of Teen Wolf, the show was great and well executed for the premise it set. Though, In my opinion after watching this movie I personally would of just let it end after season 6.
The Teen Wolf movie was however enjoyable to say the least, as a fan it was nice to see mostly everyone back again in their reoccurring roles to give us something new. The action scenes were pretty good and was a fan of how they incorporated lil Easter eggs from the series. But, and I sad a "but" because the film left so many plot holes which could be explained that Teen Wolf the series had way more time to expand the story within itself, apposed to a shorter time frame within the movie.
Because of this, I felt like the story felt very rushed and that the chemistry of actors felt kinda off which could be explained with some people being absent in the film like Stiles. In addition, the ending of this film didn't satisfy me because I had so many unanswered questions. However there were some very good twists that made the film interesting and watchable.
Overall, in my opinion this film was a decent watch, I watched all of it and for someone who is quite harsh and particular of the films I watch, I would just stop watching the film if I didn't like it. This film is what you expect from a show making a film. 6.5/10 for me.
Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022)
I CAN DIRECT THIS FILM BETTER
I was hoping the reviews would be wrong for this film but they are completely right. I couldn't even sit through and watch this film, I skipped to the parts where they creeper was on screen but was disappointed. In my opinion this movie and the last movie has ruined the franchise. I think I would direct a better film with no experience.
I wish I didn't have this opinion as Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2 are one of my favourite horror films. The first two films did it brilliantly, however with this film it is completely different. This did not feel like a movie but a cheesy film done for a school project.
However, I do see where this film was going, some parts of the story from what I skipped through showed us more information about the creeper but I just wish it was depicted in a better way.
Main points:
Abuse of CGI - it was laughable, one scene really made me chuckle but besides that it hurt my eyes. The film lacked depth, almost felt two dimensional when watching it. The cinematic dynamics were polar opposites of the original.
The creeper looked like a Halloween costume, didn't feel authentic from how it was originally depicted, you can clearly tell at the start it's just a guy poorly painted.
Acting was off putting, no chemistry between the actors
Overall, for something I've been excited to watch, this film failed to draw and engage me and to be honest it would have been better if this film wasn't made to maintain the franchises integrity of a classic horror monster. But you cant really blame the down fall of the franchise considering the directors past.
Look Away (2018)
A Good Thriller Movie
This film has amazing cinematography that sets the trilling atmosphere, the premise of the film is interesting but I felt like it could have been executed a bit better. Nevertheless worth to watch and a great refresher from other films.
Total Frat Movie (2016)
A Good Comedy
At first I was a bit sceptical about this film but its a good film with some really funny scenes. Its refreshing to have a film about college that has some funny new concepts unlike any other films about student life.
