Inside Man (2022)
Um...
If you were looking for high drama, guess again. If you were looking for a sophisticated crime caper, this is not that. If you were looking for a first-rate suspense thriller, it won't be found here. If you, however, recognize a black comedy when you see it, then welcome home! The story line is purposefully implausible, the acting very broad, and the writers go so far in frequently reminding us it is a comedy - it just is not filled with one-liners, sight gags, and slapstick. Tennant, Tucci, Baker, and Lyndsey Marshal are in rare form, with Dolly Wells a superb straight man. For those who stuck with it through all four episodes, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Simply terrific.

Setting Your Own Expectations
This is a movie for adults, beautifully shot and a philosophical musing on aging. Parents giving this a low rating because you didn't do your homework before dragging your issuance to the theater, shame on you.

Ridiculous White Christian Revisionist Claptrap
Bad writing, bad acting, the biggest load of claptrap I've ever seen. Talk about whitewashing the Civil War. I cannot believe Lou Gossett, Jr. had anything to do with this movie - his mortgage must have come due. Sheesh!
