Blood Red Sky (2021)
So bad I had to see it to the end
The last film I saw this bad was the attack of the yeti.
You got to give credit that it was made I would imagine through the pandemic,
It was no classic horror.

Nice to see Liam Neeson,in a film and he's not shooting and killing them in a revenge plot, loved the film from start to end.

Disappointing from a great British cast
Found the film on Netflix during lockdown, seen Richard E Grant was in it, and remember how brill he was in Warlock, Jack and Sarah and thought I'd give it a go,all I can say I've seen it wouldn't rush to a repeat viewing

When I started watching,as I was up a friend's and they started watching, and just carried on till the last series, reminded me of hugh grsntd about a boy but more superior Con O'Neill as Val fantastic,Nick Helin, and Elliot Speller-Gillott make a great duo, nice to see Sandra Dickinson on the screen again
Greenleaf (2016)

Someone recommended this series, and what a treat, with its twists and turns and up to date happenings my only complaint wasn't this promoted,if a friend hadn't told me about it I wouldn't have known about it well done to all involved

The Judge (2014)
A Oscar waiting
I watched this, because of Robert Duvall as I knew he was the top of his game WOW !! Robert Downy Jr brilliant performance and the supporting cast were sublime well done to all
Columbo: Murder with Too Many Notes (2001)
two great Names
Who wrote this episode and why, Peter Falk is a legend, Columbo is his and his alone and many Actors wanted to appear in this classic, maybe to say they have, some came back for more, some they made Cameo roles like Edith Head, Nancy walker which fitted perfectly has Columbo was based in L.A land of Hollywood and the stars.
Billy Connolly it one of U.K gems so is the Director Patrick McGoohan, all I can make of it, it was a tribute to Peter Falk, as Columbo it is 2000 and bless him, he was getting on, in age but still great, the drive home to the murderer's home was funny, I think there was a bit of Ab-libbing by Connolly there.
What was Richard Levinson and crew thinking of when they did this episode it didn't do the Columbo franchise any favours but it doesn't stop me loving the series part of my childhood 13 series of pure fun Thankyou all
Murder on the Orient Express (2017)
watched it not bothered to watch it again
I love a good mystery, and a good cast, and Agatha Christie's adaptation's never, fail to disappoint.
Through the film I couldn't thinking Johnny Depp and Kenneth Branagh should have swapped roles, the scenery was breath taking, which actually gave atmosphere to the film.
Poirot, as always had an assistant, to help him solve the cases and I ask myself why they didn't ask David Suchet to play the part as a retirement bonus to credits to the detective, but maybe they did but looks like there is going to be another outing with Branagh playing Poirot, a new franchise. great news for a host of famous names I hope they think of doing 10 little Indians, all in all a great escape on a winters night but no award winner
Night and Day (1946)
escapism at it's best
I remember the first time I saw this film, I was spell bound,I have read up about Cole Porter since this film, and it's all seems negative, who cares if it's not all facts of his life, the music itself, is all Cole Porter, and if you didn't know Cole Porter's music before you will after this film, that educational in itself,Cary Grant played him well,Monty Wolley, well never heard of him before this, film but I do now and will watch another film that he's in no problem, great appearances from Jane Wyeman and MARY Martin, and to be the first colour film that Cary Grant made what a achievement and I'm sure I notice a very young Robert Wagner in there too has a young soldier. If you like your musicals you got to give this a go and Alexis Smith as Porter's long suffering wife is great #I get no kick out of champagne# #let's fall in love# and you sure do with the Cole porter sound
