We Are Family (2024)
Terrible and the stakes are low
Wow the stakes are low with insignificant prizes that are shared.... So dumb and convoluted. A lot of uninteresting random people talking and joking way too much that are boring! Bring back To Tell The Truth such a better show!! Also they have boring D-list celebrities that add nothing to the show. For me a good game show has as many interesting comics as contestants so the banter is high level and actually entertaining. Also Mama has no real purpose here like she did on To Tell The Truth. So dumb and confusing I predict that it gets cancelled and hopefully To Tell The Truth comes back to Hulu.
Foundation (2021)
Amazing
On of the best all around Sci-fi experiences I have had in years capturing something magical the new Star Wars and Dune are lacking. The writing, acting, visual effects and soundtrack were phenomenal, many goosebumps were had.
The Hole in the Ground (2019)
Loved it!
As someone who loves sci-fi/fantasy/horror but dislikes gore and violence I really enjoy this Hitchcock nod with beautiful cinematography, and use of music and light to invoke emotion. The acting was good, the little boy was believable and the movie avoided the use of unnecessary dialogue. All aspects seemed thought out and intentional. A24 I love your content and have yet to be disappointed in any of your films.
B Positive (2020)
Surprisingly Good!
I wasn't sure about this when I heard the premise, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a big fan of Kether Donohue from You're The Worst and Thomas Middleditch from Silicon Valley. Annaleigh Ashford's Gina character is super lovable and reminds me a lot of a personal friend. Love the character developement and the writing. All and all it does have positive vibes that we all need right now and a message of altruism and general kindness that does leave you thinking more about what's right with the world - those individual kindnesses that no one sees by everyday people.

NOS4A2 (2019)
1st season good 2nd season not so good
I really enjoyed the first season, but the 2nd got worse and worse as it went on. The acting was good but the writing fell apart. The protagonist becomes sloppy and it's hard to root for her when she is absent every time the bad guys come for her kid and in the end the rescue is only a partial win. Disappointing :(
