I cannot rate this as a 7 because this isn't a very memorable film although it is thrilling and we'll made. Once the conflict begins you are on the edge of your seat with worry for the protagonists it is when they waste screen time with unnecessary dialogue that have nothing to do with the dangers at hand the movie appears campy.

I did enjoy the performances of the small cast and of course the gators. It's a pretty fun filled movie so give it a shot.

Let me pre-warn you, there is at least 30 minutes of absolutely NOTHING going on. It begins with two young women hanging out and drinking, the long drawn out conversations and their intense need to speak to each other almost nose to nose made me feel like this was going to turn into a lesbian film. I would have appreciated the movie f it had because between the bad acting and dull scenes I was wondering what on Earth was going on! Once the friend/lover left you would think it is now time for the fun to begun but there is along drawn out screentime of the young woman observing herself in the mirror and doing normal things people do when they're alone. The problem is every agonizing moment is drawn out and it is not interesting at all. I couldn't take anymore, the movie was going nowhere and I know I made a wise decision turning it off.

The movie is watchable but you may end up regretting it. It's about a teenage love gone inexplicably wrong. Nothing about that is very interesting and the relationship turns wrong as quickly as it starts. However, the acting of the main actress, the object of the obsessed boyfriend's affections was in question. There were two intense scenes in which she looked like she was about to laugh and once she actually chuckled. Did they not edit the movie? I dont get it, it really was distracting and made me wonder how she got the part.

Some of these reviews........I wonder if they are part of the movie production crew or going senile. This movie was just plain terrible. It had the look of a properly financed production but what came from that was a D list horror movie that you find in a $5 Walmart bin. I had high hopes when I saw some recognizable faces as the movie started but when the very simple and uninteresting premise unfolded my inner panic started. When the "horror" aspect of this haunted vault began I knew it wasn't going to get any better. As the movie progressed the characters had conversations and expositions that didn;t really help explain the choices they made later and you actually dont care. The "twist" is not a twist at all and you;ll be very glad you survived this awful movie. I am so upset at my wasted time.

There are so many fake ratings on here giving this a 9 or 10. You can tell by how they are dogging out the critics. I dont always agree with critics but where there is smoke there is fire as they say........

Will Smith is always a pleasure but as someone else suggested it does appear as if he is phoning it in. He is lacking his enthusiasm and vigor. The chemistry between him and his Orc partner is lacking so when they try to be funny it does'nt fall flat it just is flat. The premise of the film is sort of interesting but only mildly. This is a one watch movie and only if you are o acid.

Not an Academy award winner, somewhat watchable.

The scariest thing about this movie is that people actually edited it and thought it was fit for the human public. A horror movie does not have to have a huge budget but I would think that when it comes to the actors the purse strings shouldn't be so tight. Where in tarnation did they get the Madison character? My cat could have put on a better performance. For most of the movie she did this awful sobbing voice whine for about 85% of the movie. Someone mentioned her awful portrayal of a limp and they were spot on, it was like she thought she was doing improv or something. I cant believe her bio states that she went to a performing arts school? The dog in the movie was more convincing than her. The script only made matters worse. Was the writer under character limits? Many lines in the movie were repeated several times in many scenes, I had the captions on so I literally could see that the script was full of the actors repeating themselves and with the same awful intonations each time. The plot is so stupid and could have been forgiven id the movie had hired writers and real actors instead of their neighbors.

I am very much upset I picked this out to watch on my night off. tsk tsk,

I found this on Amazon and it appeared to be promising which should have been my first clue that something was awry given that I discovered it on Amazon. As I said it started promising and the acting wasn't obviously awful and the movie low budget......at first. When things turn for the worse for the two protagonists of the movie it is like the film, the actors, the writers, everyone just gave up and the movie disintegrated into a -D list type of movie.

At no point in time did I feel like the girls were in any sort of danger. The movie attempted to show their abuse at the hands of their attackers but their lack of tears, grief and their fresh out the salon hairstyles did not give off an air of despair. A situation that would have anyone in pure panic has them seemingly detached and bored as they deliver their lines like they are doing a reading. Once they are on the path of their "revenge" the movie rushes along and loses any sense of logical semblance and because it is done so poorly you really just don't care.

4/10 and that is being extremely generous.

Listen, I get the bad reviews I really do but this delivered gore, action, and some very strange, original characters. The camera angles and score also kept my interest and built up intrigue but I must complain about the second half of the film, it really falls flat and nothing much happens. Would I run out and buy the DVD, no but like I said the movie was "fun" and the actors really were dedicated to their roles, especially the murderous townies.

What is with useless torture flicks Either it's two people being hunted and spooked for an hour and a half only to be brutally killed or it's a group of people playing some sick game for no real reason to put the audience through all of that. What's really going on for a movie to be 90% violence with no originality, no clever plot, just running around and gruesome death? In this movie a young shy, outsider gets humiliated by his peers at a college party and for some reason that warrants a crappy film about a psycho playing truth and dare w those peers for no compelling reason or engaging dialogue for interest. In fact you don't mind if any of them die yet don't care if they live either, none of the characters are likable or memorable. There is a light surprise at the end which is why it got 4 stars more than 2 as I wanted give but not a good enough surprise to make up for sitting through that drivel.

I saw this crud last night on Netflix last night and developed intense nausea for the next 12 hours. Seriously, what the heck were the director and editors thinking? The whole movie screamed KMart budget starring the people of Walmart Cast. The acting was downright insulting and often times hilarious with over-exaggerated facial expressions and deadpan deliveries. If that wasn't bad enough the voice overs were off as if the whole movie had been dubbed and dubbed horribly, it was very distracting and just echoed the lack of acting talent the cast possessed aside from Sissy and perhaps the Sheriff. I've seen better acting at 1st grade school plays, the acting was seriously that terrible along with the uninspired dialogue between the characters. Perhaps the budget went more toward the makeup and blood splatter which was a bit better than I was expecting considering how cheap and amateurish everything else was. The plot.........*sigh* Jacob gets mad, Jacob hurts people....something about demons thrown in (it wasn't explained well at all and made absolutely no sense), comedic violence ensues....FIN. Please save yourself the pain and agony this movie will cause, avoid it like the plague.

I found this movie on Netflix and was surprised at how decent it was as I had never heard of it. After their father, three individual daughters just met is found dead in the lake, the audience is taken through their individual accounts of what led up to the murder. The acting was pretty great considering the actresses were portraying mentally imbalanced people and the camera and direction were noticeably professional. It wasn't a huge production but dialogue, setting, cinematography, acting, etc, writing, was on point. It's a slow paced film but will keep you interested to see how it will end. I would definitely recommend this Independent movie to others to check out if they want to view something good and new. 7/10
