On a Wing and a Prayer (2023)
Really?!?!
This was a decent movie. The acting was not terrible. But I have a few problems with this movie.
First, why are we changing the story? If we have to exaggerate the story and make up new details and add characters. Maybe it's not a good story to make a movie about.
Second, why the race swapping? Why did they have to make two of the characters in the movie African American? What is the point? To appease the Hollywood "rules" or standards to put "enough" diversity in the movie? If the people in the real life story are white, why are we changing their race. If this was the other way around there would be an uproar. Changing the race of two characters in this movie did nothing but put two token black characters in to make the quota. Dumb decision. Race shouldn't matter. Be more authentic in your story telling.

What the...
Maybe it's just me but this movie made no sense. I even read the book in preparation for watching it. I do have to say it does have some good movie making qualities to it. The cinematography and acting are great, but it ultimately falls flat for me!
J'ai perdu mon corps (2019)
Well told story
This movie is pretty much a masterpiece so well told! I was lost in it and found myself rooting for a hand! The climatic scene so very well done and built the anticipation in a different, creative way.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Not your typical Tarantino movie!
This is Leo and Brad at their best! They are allowed to show their acting ability to its finest. Especially DiCaprio in the Saloon scene. Tarantino paints a great picture of Hollywood in the late 60s and makes the story about the other characters and not the Manson family. We finally got to see typical Tarantino justice if you will at the end with Cliff and Brandy kicking some major ass!
