Kalank (2019)
Why is there so much hate!
Why is there so much hate towards this film! I am really annoyed and disappointed with all the negative reviews and people who are finding faults and criticising this outstanding well made film.
The acting all around was incredible, the set of the film was amazing as well as having a great story line.
Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapoor---- I'm really speechless for the wonderful roles they played and whatever role was theirs, they did absolute justice to it.. The roles of Madhuri, Varun and Alia are highly highly commendable..My big appreciation and admiration to such stars who played the characters soo well and put life in them as real..
The cinematography was also very amazing.
Will definitely watch this film again once it comes to Amazon Prime!
Kapoor & Sons (2016)
An emotional ride!!!
What an excellent, outstanding film where all the characters have performed exceptionally well. Not for a single moment in this film will you feel bored or want to leave the cinema hall as from the very first scene to the last the characters keep you both engaged and entertained.
The movie has also done very well to keep all the emotions in one film where at one time you are laughing and happy to the next moment where you are sad. It is a nice family film to watch as some families may also be able to relate to the struggles that the family was facing in this film thus making the narrative of the story brilliant.
Kapoor and Sons filmed in a beautiful location called Conoor with a small house in the middle of nowhere.
Cast wise: Rishi Kapoor who is the Grandpa played a brilliant role who is adorable with a funny and naughty side to him which we see later on in the film. Fawad Khan does a remarkable job whilst playing a difficult role. Sidharth Malhotra is a natural character and every time we see him in any film he also plays a brilliant role but the on- screen chemistry with him and Fawad was fantastic. Ratna Pathak Shah is flawless as the long-suffering woman of the house. Rajat Kapoor played an exceptional role and lastly Alia Bhatt, who is alone done very well in this film compared to her first film and has come a long way and improved considerably.
Overall this film deserves a 7 out of 10 star rating.
