The Woman King (2022)
Wonderful!
"The Woman King" is a wonderful movie about bravery, courage, sisterhood and standing up for your rights and the rights of others. Viola Davis and other cast members should have been nominated for an Oscar. The scenery was authentic , and the costumes were fabulous. The slave trade was a terrible stain on the Europeans, Americans, and Africans. Thankfully, the movie showed some of the Africans were willing to die and not be enslaved.by the Americans and Europeans, The story of "The Woman King" needs to be taught in all schools. Everyone needs to hear the story. I found it truly fascinating and satisfying.
Hamilton (2020)
Fabulous!
I have seen quite a few musicals in my day, and this is by far, the best. The songs were great, and quite enjoyable. The acting was on point. Loved it, loved it!
Cinderella (2021)
"Rhythm Nation" Really???
Billy Porter as usual was fabulous. Pierce and Minnie were funny. The town crier and his band was a bright spot in the film. The rest was just absolutely horrible. Hollywood stop trying to turn singers into actors.
Luce (2019)
What the What!
I was with "Luce" all the way until the end. After all the twists and turns, the ending was a complete let down. I still do not know what was the point of this film. If it wasn't for the actors, I would have rated this a 1.
Leverage: Redemption (2021)
Wow, what a ride!
Dean Devlin, you are officially my new hero. Thanks for bringing back one of the most sophisticated programs ever. The new cast blended well with the originals. Love it, love it.
Bosch (2014)
Titus and Company Delivered!
Just finished binge watching the final season of BOSCH, and it was absolutely wonderful. The cast truly brought the season to life. Loved the secondary storylines.
Behind Closed Doors (2020)
A Tale of Two Victims
This story showcases what has been going on for ever. Men the world over have been abusing women and then they try to make it their fault. The problem lies within themselves. Some men who have been abused turn around and become the abuser. The acting could have been better, but all in all, the movie was decent.
Dynasty (2017)
Alexis Must Go!
I knew Nicolette Sheridan would ruin this show, and she did not disappoint. Her acting is too over the top for an updated version of the show. What a horrid interpretation of the character made famous by Joan Collins. The rest of the characters are absolutely fabulous.
Pistolera (2020)
Help!
This has got to be the worst movie I have ever seen. Bad acting, bad dialogue, and bad costumes. Whoever casted this horrible actress needs to be banned from the movies. What a complete mess!
Without Remorse (2021)
Enjoyable
Yes for all you haters, we have seen this story line before, but Michael B Jordan did a wonderful job as the tortured hero, and I cannot wait for the next installment. The cast was very good, loved the special effects.
Flight 7500 (2014)
Entertaining!
I expected a little more from the director of "The Grudge" but, you can't have everything. Towards the end, I started to figure out was happening. All in all, it was okay.
The Illustrator (2020)
What did I just see?!?
I watched this movie until the bitter end, I have no idea what it was about, I was truly confused. It had potential, but lacked focus.
Dark Places, Deadly Illusions (2021)
Predictable.
The movie was somewhat enjoyable. The actors were fairly good in their roles.
Coming 2 America (2021)
Very Entertaining
So happy to see some of the old characters brought back. Loved Wesley Snipes. The costumes were fabulous. Loved the storyline.
Because I Love You (2012)
Not Bad at All
Once the story moved past the strip club, it was quite interesting.
AJ and the Queen (2020)
Too much kid, and not enough adults.
That little girl was most annoying, so glad her part was tweaked. She almost single handedly ruined the series.
Rosie! (1967)
Fun Wonderful Film
Where is this movie? It was my favorite movie growing up. It used to come on tv all the time. The cast was great, and full of favorite actors. I have been looking for this film since the VHS days.
Black Panther (2018)
An Epic Masterpiece
"Black Panther" exceeded my expectations. The cast, the scenery, the special effects, the crew, fabulous. I cannot find one thing I did not like about this movie. This is Marvel's best movie to date. I know Black Panther is the star, but my girl "The General" was too tough. I hope the next installment is just as good.
