Peter Pan Goes Wrong (2016 TV Movie)
10/10
Amazing TV adaptation of an even more amazing play
1 January 2017
I love and saw all three major plays by the Mischief Theatre several times. The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and Comedy About the Bank Robbery and I love all of them. Saw all three with the original cast. Every time I'm in London I go and see one or more of their plays, which is what I plan to do this January, too (I'll go and see Petert Pan Goes Wrong). I was pleasantly surprised to see that BBC planned to show it on New Year's Eve and told all my friends. The TV version was almost all there, they obviously shortened it a bit. I especially missed the part in which the mother tries to turn off the lamps in the children's room, but also enjoyed the video additions which you don't see in the theatre (the joke on the lake and later going through the various BBC studios etc.) If this becomes available somewhere online, definitely watch it. It's hilarious.

Arrival (II) (2016)
10/10
Best movie of 2016 and among the best sci-fi movies of the decade
28 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Being a linguist myself and a great sci-fi aficionado, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing cinematic gem. It has absolutely everything I could want in a smart and thought provoking sci-fi movie. It had me at the first several seconds - it gripped my attention from the get go and never let up. Music and the actor played a great part in this, but the story itself is what's really amazing. So simple, yet so complex. I definitely didn't expect the time component but caught on relatively quickly. Definite recommendation for people who are not brainless sheep used to Hollywood crash-boom-bang kind of sci fi. This is a meditative experience about human nature and its indestructible spirit. Tell all your friends about it.

Amazing, best of the rebooted trilogy!
21 July 2016
I couldn't wait to see the film and i genuinely loved it. Epic music, great humour, interesting story. What more can you ask?

There are some actor greats here, and quite a lot of surprises. You can feel Lin's touch, but he didn't overdo it. You can also see Peg's influence on the script, which, in my opinions, has been very positive.

There are some emotional scenes, characters are coming into their own. There are some winks to fans of the series. I like both the series, old movies and rebooted movies and am looking forward to the new TV show. This movie is definitely the step in the right direction for the franchise.

Plan to see this several time and am already looking forward to Star Trek 4.

The worst movie I've ever seen!
7 July 2016
I had to watch it as a part of my job and it was excruciating! My God! Why would anyone pay money to see this? Why would anyone make it? Why would anyone broadcast this?

Horrible, the script is awful. The actors even worse. The editing horrible. Any sort of action is abysmal. There is no logic whatsoever. There's not a single good thing I could say about this movie.

Has anyone in charge even read the script before giving the green light for the shooting?

This is my first review on IMDb. I just had to warn people of the terrible awfulness that this movie is.

Please, stay away if you want to keep your brain cells.

Avoid at all cost!
