Burning Questions: Burning Questions With 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' (2023)
A bad copy of Star Wars
I was expecting an entraining movie, fast paced with a sense of humor and lots of action, but instead we are treated to a slow movie, that takes forever to get to the interesting part, too much unnecessary dialogue, and a father/daughter relationship that is really annoying more than tender. As it's the case with every new stage Marvel movie, the characters have been "flanderized", and the main hero is now a self centered unintelligent man that can't do much on his own (hard to believe that he is an "Avenger") all of this while traveling a Quantum Realm that reminds you of a poor version of Star Wars. It was a real disappointment. Even the end leaves you the same way Scott Lang feels about the cake.
Mortdecai (2015)
It's not award worthy but that's not the plan
I've heard and read many critics about this movie, but to my opinion, many are just high brow and not aimed at the purpose of this movie, which is just to entertain, and that it does. The characters are not perfect, but work together and what totally makes the movie is Paul Bettany's Jock.
A fun movie for a lazy sunday afternoon that anyone could enjoy :)
