I have always been interested in thought-provoking and unpredictable stories about closed communities where people from ordinary cities get and where they're changed forever. As an example, I can name "Solstice" and "The Wicker Man". Now I want to write about the film "Omut" which, in my opinion, is not inferior to the best representatives of the horror genre with ethnic motives.

The plot centers on a woman named Lyuba, whose husband Sergei constantly humiliates, beats and insults her. The woman is sick and tired of her husband's behavior and she decides to leave him. This is the point where really interesting things start to happen both intriguing and frightening.

The fact is that Lyuba and her friends travel to a separate island, where there is a small but very colorful community. Local residents live according to old rituals and are able to summon spirits of other worlds. And they are the ones who should give Lyuba confidence and change her attitude towards life.

The interesting thing here is that you don't fully know whether there is mysticism in this story, or whether it's more of a thriller. The authors play riddles with us, which are very interesting to solve, and the closer the ending is, the more the tension increases.

The film is definitely worth watching for fans of the genre and those who like to solve intricate mysteries.

In the new detective series "1703" we are told a story of two partners who are forced to patrol St. Petersburg's streets at night. It seems that we've already seen lots of similar stories and this one is unlikely to be surprising, but I advise you not to jump to conclusions, because the most exciting things are yet to come!

The story is set in St. Petersburg's nightlife. Many criminals choose this time of day to do something unpredictable and terrible, and the police, in turn, are eager to send them to jail as soon as possible. The main characters of the series are two police officers - young Vadim and experienced Gosha. And their first conscientious business will be as unusual as possible.

Two guys broke into the city morgue and stole the girl's body. No one can understand the reason, but the protagonists have some clues, and therefore they immediately set off, since it is necessary to investigate such a case without a delay.

I really like this series. It is unusual, intriguing, moderately tough and unambiguously memorable. The main characters are charismatic and their relationships are very exciting to follow.

"1703" has become one of my favorite series this fall and I will definitely watch it to the very end.

The film came out solid and dynamic. Everything here is in fact, there are no extra scenes. Together with the sheriff and his close people, we are trying to survive in this wild world of infection and it is clear that you should not rely on the army and scientists, because sometimes the fate of a person is in his hands. At the same time, I do not observe a special tin in the film. Yes, there are moments that show cruelty, but without any such vile excesses.

Looks great as Sheriff Timothy Olyphant. He is the most ordinary guy, the same as everyone else, and thanks to this, you really hold your fists for him. And the wife of the protagonist, performed by Rada Mitchell, is just a very beautiful and sweet woman. Together they look very organic.

"Nameless" came out as a very strong rethinking of the classics. The creators did a decent job, which the audience warmly accepted. Honestly, I want to periodically review this movie and it is consistently cool.

The series "What should a woman do if she has two lovers, but needs to choose one" immediately attracted my attention with its plot. Of course, there are many films and series with a similar idea, but it seems to me that here it is revealed from a completely new side.

Anna is a successful lawyer who achieved everything in her life on her own without the help of men. Although she is proud of this, she still cannot live without men. There are many of them in her life, but all of them are just for a couple of dates. Probably, this suits her quite well, but it cannot go on like this forever - you get tired of such a pace of life. Yes, and at 45 years old, you already want a little stability on the personal front. Therefore, in order to "treat her nerves", she decides to get a permanent partner. But also not forever - only for a few months. However, it turns out that it is not so easy to choose from two pleasant and desirable men. Especially when both are sincere, open, honest and with a great desire to have Anna in their lives.

I really liked the image of the main character, because it turned out to be not as bitchy as it might seem from the trailer. Therefore, if you usually always penetrate more to men, then I really sincerely sympathize with the woman herself. After all, which of us, girls, at least once in our lives did not find ourselves between two fires, even if not for long? It's genuinely interesting to see how her mind changes. But it's even more interesting to find out how it will end, and who she will choose!

The beginning made me very happy, I look forward to the continuation. I can't wait to find out more details and character traits of each of the men and Ani herself. The actors really got used to their roles, so it's easy and natural to watch. Too bad it only comes out one episode a week. But with intrigue is always more interesting!

"Offline" can be safely called one of the most interesting shows of recent times. This is a really tough, exciting and unpredictable story that constantly keeps your attention and won't let you relax for a moment.

Let's talk about the plot, it's centered around BeHappy app. It was developed by a programmer nicknamed Rust for the drug trade. But now the app has been hacked. An unknown hacker gets his hands-on customer database, and now he's opening the hunting season for those who wanted to get high but put their own lives at stake instead.

I liked the actors and their roles. Nikita Efremov is not just a talented programmer, but also a skilled shadow businessman with lots of family problems. His wife has a suspicion of cancer, his father-in-law and mother-in-law laugh at him, and there is really no time to communicate with his daughter.

Denis Shvedov is a tough cop who is not to be trifled with. However, he also has a lot of personal problems that don't allow him to fully engage in the investigation and quickly obtain the necessary information. Polina Maksimova is the jewel of the investigation team. Her character was previously associated with a certain relationship with the major, but now the past shouldn't affect the present in any way - this is the position of the girl.

In general, this is one of the few shows that could completely captivate me. There is not only a very interesting story but also an important message: be extremely careful about your safety and think again before breaking the law.

Almost everyone is familiar with the famous story by Carlo Collodi about a boy called Pinocchio is known to. It was filmed numerous times, but it didn't stop the authors of the cartoon "Pinocchio. True Story" to shoot their own unique version, which I personally really enjoyed.

The plot tells us directly about Pinocchio himself. The wooden boy decided to leave his father Geppetto and find out about the world outside his home. The road leads Pinocchio to a traveling circus where he not only meets new friends, but also a true love. But how should he win her heart?

The story is classic yet told in a fresh, catchy way. The characters are interesting, morality is correct, and in general, after watching, only the most vivid emotions remain.

Be sure to watch this cartoon with children. They will definitely appreciate it. And you won't be bored, that's for sure.

I have no doubt that sooner or later our civilization will disappear. I also believe that we have options for salvation, and one of the most realistic of them is the one shown in "Project Gemini". But there are risks in any situation and sometimes they are really terrifying.

The film tells us about the mission of Earth scientists and militaries led by Stephen Ross. They have to reach a distant planet and try to terraform it to make the atmosphere fit for human life. However, there is some creature which can jeopardize the successful outcome of the mission.

This story amazed me with its scale, and also pleased with a high-quality plot, in which there was a place for love, philosophy and morality. At the same time, the film isn't boring, the storyline is dynamic and in general, to the very end, it looks in one breath.

So, if you like movies about space and monsters, you should definitely watch " Project Gemini " because it's a worthy work in all respects.

A very interesting series. He talks about old things and makes it fun. I advise all history buffs to pay attention to it. Particularly interesting is the issue about the carpet and the camera.

Corruption is the problem, from which there is no escape, though I prefer stay positive and take everything with humor. That's the reason I wished to watch the comedy "Proklyatyy chinovnik". The trailer promised excellent satire and lively humor for everybody. It's noteworthy that it was Sarik Andreasyan who shot such a topical and vibrant comedy about bribery. There is more than enough of satire and wit in the movie.

The beginning of " Proklyatyy chinovnik " introduces the viewer to the crooked Fedya, who refuses to help the elderly woman, proudly declaring that he does not take any bribes when she's offered him some jam. The offended granny sincerely wishes the official never to take bribes again, and her curse instantly comes true. All bribes ignite at his touch, and the terrible thing is that Fedya's going to have a big "deal" with important people who cannot be turned down.

The comedy is easy to watch. All the jokes are in right places and make you first smile and then laugh. That's why I love comedy - no tension, maximum positivity. Remarkably, you aren't sympathizing with this bribe-taker while watching, in places you sincerely gloat over him, since although situations and cases are exaggerated, they are quite vital.

This is a movie about our ordinary people and about those officials who allow themselves more than they have the right to allow. Situations are hypertrophied, but professionally laughed at, with a pinch of irony. After all, it's not a drama, but a really relevant and funny comedy with unexpected cliffhangers.

The cast pleased me with acting. There are many familiar faces from the TV series. It's interesting that Maxim Lagashkin who played the lead role has acted predominantly in secondary plans. It's just great that Lagashkin was given a chance to prove himself and the chance to show his comedic talent. I've not seen Liza Arzamasova on the screen for a while. In " Proklyatyy chinovnik" she plays Fedya's secretary with a big decent heart, it was nice to see the actress again.

Generally, I enjoyed " Proklyatyy chinovnik» very much. It looks in one breath, and it's not boring - I guarantee! The humor is without vulgarity, without rudeness, but it's subtle and bold, as they say, "It hits the nail on the head" " Proklyatyy chinovnik " deserves only a positive review.

I adore thrillers both in films and in literature. Furthermore, the scarier, the better for me. It is not a surprise that I fell in love with Yana Vagner's novel - Vongozero. For me it was an ultimate page turner, I literally couldn't tear myself from the book and binge-read it in three days.

Some time ago I heard about the series based on the novel. Unfortunately, I couldn't watch it among the first. But finally, I found an opportunity to dive into my favorite Universe and would like to share my first impressions with you. Some directors deliberately change a lot in the movie version and that often ruins the author's concept. In the case of this series the novel is treated very delicately.

Many characters and especially Anna look exactly the same as I imagined while reading the story and it's the best gift for all the fans of this novel, including me. Writing this text, I am wondering - how could have this book become a prediction of 2020!

The scariest part of both the book and the show is - that there are no zombies, no walking deads, yet it gives you the chill when you recognize these omens of our NEW NORMAL in it. And it takes courage to watch this series nowadays.

Everybody has dozens of dreams and waits them come true. But real happiness never hurries to knock on our door, we should fight for it and try ourselves the best. Only then will we get what we really deserve. All of us have plans which go wrong at once leaving us frustrated. In this situation you can give up or continue to fight, try and believe! The main heroine of new romantic comedy "Desire Marathon" is the second type. You should learn optimism and determination from her.

I'd call this film another Cinderella story. It's whole about dreaming and reaching the goals. Here you'll recognize all the classical characters: cruel stepmother (Marina's mother-in-law), handsome prince (Nagiyev) and definitely a fairy godmother (Blinovskaya). Marina is almost a classical Cinderella girl, she's hard-working, kind and extremely tends to love and marriage though our Russian Cinderella is far more daring and down-to-earth. She doesn't need much money, castle and a prince to be happy. New windows and car mechanic will do. But life is unpredictable thing. Wedding is cancelled, the girl is kicked out of her flat and her own hope is visiting the seminar of the famous personal coach and motivator Elena Blinovskaya in a distant city Khanty-Mansiysk. Fortunately, Marina doesn't know how to lose. Realizing that her destiny is in her own hands, the she buys a ticket and sets off on unexpected adventures.

The film is bright, sweet, both moving and amusing. For me it's extremely motivational. Its essence is as old as the world, but it really works in the best possible way and encourages us to act. You won't be happy, sitting on the sofa, crying, waiting the dreams come true. We must act here and now. This is what the film tells us.

I really liked Aglaya Tarasova as Marina. She perfectly performed a provincial manicurist who you inevitably fall in love with. And Cyril Nagiyev is also on the right place. He is super-sexy chef.

The film is delicious. Its humor is light and far not stupid, cast is awesome and the story is lovely. You will recognize real story of real people in it for sure.

The plot of the film takes place over several decades of the 19th century. Russian troops managed to fight back Napoleon and took over Paris. It was not an easy time, young officers believed they could change the whole world for the better. Idealists look into the eyes of the enemy courageously without fear. Who can achieve the desired and show the will and power if not they?

To begin with, they decided to put an end to injustice at home and decided to establish a constitutional monarchy. But despite all the ideals and faith in their truth, it was not easy to fulfill their plan.

Andrei Kravchuk's film "The Union of Salvation" is a large-scale historical study that describes some of the most difficult pages of the Russian Empire history. The revolt of the Decembrists had to show the emperor that the old rules and laws were no longer able to restrain the empire from collapse, and although the rebellion was suppressed, it became a special precedent that brought the country under global historical changes.

The story turned out to be stunning, with rich scenery, costumes, large-scale battle scenes. We can see what all the money was spent on, rather big amount of money. Nothing of the kind I have ever seen in Russian cinematography before. The film was made by people who definitely knew their job.

TO sum up: "The Union of Salvation" turned out to be a strong historical picture, in which real heroes of the past appear, capable of fighting against the system in order to raise the state from its knees. The film deserves attention.
