Great show witty compere
15 November 2023
Great concept for a game and very reliant on the choice of compete to make or break it. I personally like Jim Jeffries as a comedian and in this show he is very risqué with fast one liners He does get away with a bit for the time slot but I doubt many kids are watching anyhow.

I can see some people with no sense of humour may not like him but I guess you dont have to watch it. He can be annoying talking through the questions if you are actually playing the game. Show is a great check on your IQ and very funny. It beats all the other channels in the tv ratings so it must be doing something right.

Warnie (2023– )

It's not that bad
26 June 2023
Certainly quite watchable. All the diehard Warnie fans are upset but for those not obsessed with him it's a good insight to a flawed hero. It is also a great depiction of the times and the difficult lives that cricketers have to endure. Most of the storyline is public knowledge so i don't really see the problem. Acting is average but typical for an Australian TV mini-series. The soundtrack is also great from the era with all Aussie songs. Yes perhaps they could have waited a year or 2 but another network would have made it if Nine waited any longer. Don't listen to all the Warnie fans and give it a go.

I thought this would be an easy watch after the first episode I asked the wife do you want to watch another episode she said "hell no". I couldn't agree more,if you're over 20 don't waste your time.

Never heard of any of these events and the documentary blew me away. Well written and researched. Will make a great movie. It's a day d story with many victims and one evil man.

Scary as ......
2 June 2022
Up to episode 5 and can't wait to watch the last episodes to see how it pans out. Children are scary as, especially Hannah with her big teeth and hair.

Acting good. Give it a go.

Quirky and original

2 episodes in and I love it. Short sharp episodes and love the 70s themes. Jake Johnson is great as Doug and Joyce reminds me of a young Diane Keaton. Lots of smutty humour.

Easy binge watch
29 December 2021
Couldnt stand the Oly character so spoilt and full of herself. Season 2 at least introduced some new characters even if they went overboard with every ethnic and sexual orientation group represented.

Easy watch with the 30 min episodes. Larvae great as usual.

Beatles fans only

Tried to like this but just couldn't get into it. I know they are the most popular group ever but unless you are a diehard fan you'll be lucky to get through the first episode Just like watching someone making a cake. I rather look and taste the finished product.

Nothing new here

There are always a small percentage of low life racists with low IQ and some have violent tendencies. There are ethnic groups that will fight each other but these shows tend to fall into the category of implying all the perpetrators are white and the victims groups are blameless.

Best movie in a long time.

Those signing subtitles I thought would be the end of me but some of the best lines were there. Brilliantly acted and screenwriting with a story that was perfectly executed without being too cheesy and predictable. Not sure what came over me but actually cried at the end a rarity for me. Emilia Jones's version of Both Sides now was better than the original.

8 hours of my life I'll never get back

My god this was a snore fest. I tried so hard to get into it right to the last episode. Must be one of those arty farty things that I am not capable of understanding. Started off with great expectations but everyone I know gave up.

Love it or hate it's addictive
2 August 2021
After 4 episodes I still can't decide if I love or hate this show but can't wait for the next episode. I know I can't stand the teenagers and the new husband but love Coolidge, the new bride and the manager. Each character has many layers and their own inner demons. Bring on the next episode.

Tigerrific
8 April 2021
As a tiger fanatic I am biased but what a great doco.

Eddie betts and Nic Nat fantastic champions and the coniglio a sad back story. Editing is brilliant and the producers so lucky to have 3 Richmond icons miked up for the grand final. Loved it.
