Everton, Howard's Way (2019)
Captures everything about being an Evertonian.
I was lucky enough to meet Howard and others in a well known Indian restaurant in the outskirts of Sheffield.
Was a true gentleman, when I approached him as an Evertonian he couldn't spend enough time with me talking about the magnificent 80's.
Absolute legend as player, manager and more importantly as a person.
You just need to look at how players over recent years hold him in high esteem.
Big Dunc included.
The Irishman (2019)
Leg-ends all in one place.
De-Niro, Pacino, Pesci, Kietel and Everybody loves Ray !!!!!!
All on one screen at the same time !!!
Why has nobody done this before.
Legendary piece of movie.
De niro and Pacino since Heat been fate to work together again and again and again.
cant believe only worked together 3 times (i think).
They should get themselves over to England, Yorkshire.
I'll take them out for a beer and wine good Indian food.
Terminator Genisys (2015)
Deserves credit - Arnie fighting Arnie in first 5 mins !!!!
Give the movie credit.
Watched it again after a few years and it's filling in the gaps, trying to explain the different timelines.
I'm a fan of all the T films.
Take them for what they are, either individually or as part of different timelines.
A film to have old T101, new T101, T1000, Jason Connor, Kyle / Sarah twist what is there not to like.
Come on peeps !!!!
A Quiet Place (2018)
A Quiet Place - without subtitles - in my top 10
Just watched without subtitles, therefore relying in the cast ability to actually ACT. All the people suggesting illogical / stupid decisions - that's when you have time to think and watch scenes again and again, not being in the moment. It is a sci-fi horror at the end of the day - unless somebody can tell me otherwise nobody has been in this situation therefore cannot comment on what is right or wrong decision !!!!!
How about trying to empathise with the family through their struggles, upset and acceptance of situation they're in !!!!?
Personally I prefer the non-subtitles version as it's more immersive and personal.
Credit to the young cast (including Emily / John) and writers (again John) for doing something different than the usual.
