57 Seconds (2023)
Good idea, not thought through
He was literally drugged and raped. If it had been a woman, it wouldn't even be allowed in the movie. And he doesn't even react to it. All while blaming his boss for his sister becoming addicted to pills. Which is like blaming Tobacco companies for people getting cancer. His idiotic decisions leave you screaming at the tv for him to just stop...just stop. I truly hope anyone given that ring would be smarter about the usage. I'm not even saying not to gamble with it. Just don't be stupid about it.
However, the idea is good. Some of the storyline is good. I expected so much more from the A actors enlisted. Once you got the hang of what's the dumbest path he could take, it was an extremely predictable movie from beginning to end. Last but not least, the end decision to give up the chance to make the world better because of his own stupid decisions was the most aggravating of all.
Not a total waste of time, but hopefully screenwriters learn from this Mistake!
Kevin James: Irregardless (2024)
Therapy is needed!
I used to love this guy. It starts of strong, great music, good/funny dancing, and some actual funny jokes. But after hearing him rant for an hour about how you should abuse your children with an actual belt like the good old days, he really lost me as a fan. You would think after getting like five pitty claps from the audience he would move on to different material. But no. He goes further and basically sums himself up as the worst father in the world. "My kid sat down...I was furious." Dude, then maybe you don't need kids. He needs therapy. His kids need therapy because of him. And I could win big on a bet that they do not have a close relationship as those kids get older.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022)
Grindlewald Goof!
Johnny Depp is greatly missed in his role. The story was predictable and lacking. The few animals they had and effects are visually stunning, and it was just enough to keep us in the theater. I think we are all missing the original Hogwart's magical feel. The one that made children rush to the theaters with their capes, wands, and sorting hats just to see what magical world they would love to become apart of. Not one with just as much darkness as real life offers. I remember seeing all the movies as a child but my kids aren't even slightly interested in seeing these new ones.

Disney needs to quit trying to go darker. Especially during a time of wars and stupidity, when we need to have our spirits lifted up more now than ever. Even though they did a wonderful job, I'm relieved they aren't continuing these movies.
***********************
They also need to quit pulling their best actors out of movies for person reasons. We don't care what they post on social media or if they are getting beaten up by their crazy wives. What we do care about is replacing great actors for subpar ones with weird overbites. But hey, it's your franchise to ruin.

I hope they pull their heads out of whatever dark place theirs stuck in so we can move on. So we can bring the magic back.

Satsuriku no Tenshi (2018)
Loved it, but...
I love this show. The characters and backstories are brilliant. But...it does leave you with so many questions that nobody seems to know the answers to. No one else that I've seen post, has even noticed that Doctor Danny and Catherine Ward bear a striking resemblance to Rachel's parents. Catherine has the same laugh as her mom. And as the father was beating the mother he says "do you think this is all a game?" ....leading Catherine to run a game show. Doctor Danny wants Rachel to see him as god, just as all fathers want, but he also says things like "I clothed you, fed you....." things a father would say.
I don't know who the others were supposed to be or how they were apart of either her life or delusions, whichever the case may be, but I'm personally betting on this whole show being seen through the eyes a neglected, disturbed little girl and Zach was her Angel of Death.
I adored Rachel and Zach's dynamics. They were soul mates, just not in a sexual way. She truly wished he would be the one to put her out of that miserable life she was stuck in. But I think, by the end, he'd come to love her and want her around. Unfortunately, if it was all delusional, that means Ray only killed herself in the end.
The Mentalist: Where in the World Is Carmine O'Brien? (2011)
Skip this one
This filler episode is by far the worst yet. Her brother shows up and he and his daughter gets away with everything illegal just because they are related to Lisbon. I mean, he cloned her phone and she winds up apologizing to him???
The writers made Lisbon look hypocritical and ridiculous on this one.
Gisaengchung (2019)
Bored
I really don't understand how this has such high ratings. I really tried to like it but fell asleep less than halfway through.
Haven: Over My Head (2012)
Grrr
I really can't stand Nathan's idiotic hatred of duke this season.
